Marilynn sat on the couch with a good book in her paws. The climax was great. It was about a female meeting this male and that true love exits. The book slams closed. True love...yeah right denial. She didn't believe in true love since many of her house mates were in love or that is what they called it. She didn't see the point. And reading it just made the whole thing more not true. She knew she would never find true love. Was she?

Gah! She was sore, all her training, had drained her out. And after a good swim, to clean herself off she was just...pooped to put it lightly.
Padding in without a glance around, she found a chair and flopped into it with a groan. "Mmmm this feels niiiice." She said with a smile, she wiggled a bit into the chair before she glanced around, noticing the lass with the book she arched a brow. "Good read? I can never seem to start, much less finish one of those things."

Marilynn liked books, she really did but love, romance, was BORING. It was always about a girl and a guy falling in love and then something always has to happen. Her eyes looked up and seen a girl flop in the chair. Why couldn't their be a book on her! That was more interest than this book was.
"Mmmm this feels niiiice."
Marilynn smiled as she still looked at the book.
"Good read? I can never seem to start, much less finish one of those things."
Marilynn looked up at that question, "No, I have read better. This book sucks. All about love. Everything is about love and no one understands that it doesnt exisit." She sighed she was still in denial. How could she get out of it? This is the trouble with foxes these days.

Flopping her tail over the other side of the arm of the chair, her paws were a nice bed to rest her chin, as she watched the lass with an arched brow.
"I wouldnt say love doesn't exist, but its nothing like what they write about, or show in the movies." She said with a shrug. "But its deep, powerful and can make anyone do anything..Love isn't something to be tossed aside, thats a crazy idea."

Marilynn looked at her, "Show me that love exists, you can't, writing and what is in the movies is all play no action." She looked into the girls eyes. "I guess tossing it is normal for me because i do not see me falling in love."

She could almost taste the challenge being tossed down at her paws, and how could she turn away from such a challenge, specially when thrown down by such a lass!
She gazed right back into the girls eyes and smiled. "You cant simply demand it be shown to you, its something that takes time or the right moment." She flicked her tail. But she'd accepted the challenge, she'd show this girl love...even though she was only familiar with its cousin, lust.

Marilynn looked at her, "Something at the right moment, that depends on each other not fate. Fate has made me single, love doesnt exist. It is all lies, fairy tales it is just...well dumb." She said putting the romance novels back in place.
