Dethiatin yawned and stretched his wings. He looked up from his perch on a large flat rock in the center of the field. There was forest on every side of the field, but there was enough distance that De didn’t have to worry about be snuck up on. His mother had taken off quite some time ago and he hadn’t seen hide nor hair since. He wondered if she had left for good. Yet a chilled feeling in his stomach said he would see her again. Shaking his head he banished her from his thoughts. There were more important things to think about. A flash of blue crossed his memory. A smile played on his lips and Do looked up a goofy smile spreading over his entire face. Yuna. She was incredible, strong, and yet as gentle as a soft breeze. He loved her so much he didn’t have the words to tell her how dear she was to him other that trite and overused phrases like ‘I love you’. Yet he wanted to every time he saw her that she was the most incredible and amazing fox like no other in the world. Still she knew he cared even if he wasn’t the most elegant fox in the world.

Yuna sighed to herself. She was stuck home with her dad, as usual. She peeked outside and saw it was a lovely day out. The suns golden beams danced on the near by lake. That gold color only reminded her of one thing De. She smiled to herself. She loved that fox with all the parts of her heart that wasn't claimed by her family. Yuna got up and stretched, she was an adult now. she could leave when she wanted to right? Right! With that she started to wander out of the cave, to the last spot she saw De.

Sliding down off the rock De spread his wings and started walking. He didn’t have anywhere specific to go yet without realizing he started wandering in the direction he had last seen Yuna. He was humming softly as he walked. His tail brushing the soft grass and underbrush the air smelled sweet and clean as he walked. His head was full of thoughts of Yuna. Her soft light blue tail. The small bit of yellow on her forehead. He was enamored with her and wasn’t paying attention to his surroundings and tripped over a root.

As she walked toward the spot she saw a lump of tan and gold fall over. "De?" Yuna ran over to the lump, it really was De! She stood infront of him and tilted her head. "De? Are you ok?" She just wan't to pounce on him, but he could be hurt. She looked over him briefly. He seemed ok, probably just wasn't paying attention. Even though the root was rather visible...

His ears perked up as soon as he thought he heard Yuna’s voice. Opening his eyes he looked up at the most incredible angel in the world. “I would have been better if you hadn’t seen that. Still I can’t complain as long as I can see you.” He grinned and extracted himself from the ground with a grunt. Shaking of the dirt De had to pull a small stone from where it had lodged in his wing feathers. “ How are you Yuna?”

She smiled and blushed. De was there and she couldn't be happier, she buried her head into his chest and nuzzled him. "I'm fine. Are you ok?" She looked up into his brilliant blue eyes. She reached up and licked off of few smudges of his face, her tail wagging happily.

“I’m doing quite well.” Smiling De surrendered to Yuna’s grooming him. He nuzzled her back his ears catching the sound Yuna’s tail was making as it scrapped the dirt behind her. Raising a paw he stroked her face softly. “You look amazing. Like a gem rubbed to shine its brightest.”

Yuna blushed a bright red at De's comment, and just from his contact. She was helplessly in love with the boy. "I'm glad everything is ok." She didn't even wan't to mention the reason why they haven't seen each other in a while. Hael. She shuddered thinking about that Phim. Yuna was a very loving fox... but when it came to Hael... She shuddered again slightly. Yuna didn't like feeling hateful, she wanted to like her, and for her to like her back... Maybe not even that! Was it possible not to like sombody but accept them anyway? She sighed but keept her smile up, frowing would only make De wonder.

De chuckled a bit to himself seeing Yuna’s blush. It was so becoming of her. His happy mood faded a bit when Yuna shivered. “Is something wrong? Are you cold? Ill?” He raised used his paw and held it to her forehead a bit worried. She didn’t seem feverish but with some sickness one could not be sure. He really hoped that Yuna was well. If she wasn’t well then De would just have to nurse her back to health! He moved back to get a good look at her from a distance. She really did look ok. He had a small ball of worry forming in the pit of his stomach. Yuna was the most important thing to him and if she was cold or ill he would do everything in his power to help her.

Yuna took a deep calming breath. "I'm fnine. Really." She smiled her best smiled. "But since I can tell you are already worried.. I was thinking about something." She laughed. "Lets not worry about it! You're here! I'm here! Let's enjoy the time shall we?" She bounced happily and wagged her tail, urging De to do something to her... WITH her.

He relaxed hearing that Yuna wasn’t sick. He was still a bit worried that she had something on her mind, but if she wanted to forget it for a while and do something he was ok with it. After all Yuna would talk to him when she was ready. It is hard to change the weather and harder to change a woman’s mind. “Alright . Lets do something fun together. Do you have any plans or shall we start with a stroll and figure it out from there? ”

"A stroll sounds like a lovely idea." Yuna smiled and rubbed against De's side. In fact, it was perfect. Maybe during the stroll Yuna will drop the question about Hael, but there was no need to ruin the mood now. She started to saunter off, throwing a glance at De.

Grinning like a fool. De started off after Yuna. Above them white puffy clouds floated on by. “How has your family been Yuna?” De wanted to get to know his love’s family, but it seemed like every time he would life took another turn. Perhaps he’d make some time to meet them.

"They are great! My mother and sister came back so my dad is alot happier now." Yuna saw the lake where their little fishing fun happened. She smiled and blushed. "Care for a swim? I've been practicing." She beemed proudly at her lover and teacher.

“That’s good to hear. I’m glad your dad has your mom back. I know how horrible it is to be separated from the one dearest to you.” He looked at her a bit surprised. “Really now? Lets see how good you’ve gotten.” Slipping into the water De waited for Yuna to join him. He was ready to help her if she flailed about again.
