Oh how he loved these days! Nothing to do, except soak in his lovely temporary swamp. It was a decent sized swamp..but nothing like his. He missed his swamp. The toadstools, the insects, the fish--even the rank smell that emitted from it was making him home sick. For now, this one would have to make do.

Scooping up some of the water into his mouth, he spat it back out at a high speed. It was an amusing habit, especially when it was done to others. Not that they appreciated his talent..no, in fact, they hated it. Not that he could blame them. Not everyone liked being coated in swamp water.

He was about to repeat his move when someone spoke out, causing him to swallow what he had in his mouth, and him coughing and wheezing to get the air back in his lungs. "Jack dammit! Who on--!? Oh-" The red headed ghoul from that booth. Er..TW was it? No..NW? Yeah, NW! "NW! Did you manage to get those tiny people out of those weird skelevision things yet?"

Wheezing a little, he rubbed at his eye's. Never again..did he want to choke on water, especially swamp water. Although, it left a nice aftertaste in his mouth, to which the dragon licked his lips in response. Once his breathing returned to normal, he watched the ghoul, positive he had her name down. Or, so he though, until she corrected his mistake. "LW? I was sure it was NW.." His thoughts lingered on it a moment, wondering how he got it wrong, but gave up after a minute. "Okay, LW," It did have a nicer ring to it then NW did. "What are you doing all the way out here? Usually its just me out here." Though, her company was welcome.

"Awwww." He whined, hitting the water with his fist, only to have water splash up into his eyes. Rubbing the water away again, he set his gaze on the she-wolf again. "Yeah, I guess. I would hate to think what would happen if they died in there. The smell.." He cringed at the thought. "This one time, there was this awful stench coming a dead animal from under one of the roots of a tree in my swamp, and I couldn't get to it, so it just stunk for weeks!" He seemed to be amused at the thought of this, rather than upset.

"Maybe, I don't know how long I could stand it though. Skelevisions hurt my eyes.." He stared at her long and hard when she questioned him on his knowledge of movies. "What..are those? Movies? Is it some sort of game?" He asked, not sure if he would like a movie or not.

His stare only continued when she asked him yet another question. "What?" Choking on wa- "Oh, that!" He laughed, sprawling out onto his back, pulling off a 'dead man's float' in the water. "I was practicing a technique of mine. I can spit water reeeally fast. Its fun to hit people with some times." He mused, while a large cheshire grin was displayed on his face. Staring up at the sky, his eye's rolled over to her, his grin still in place. "I'm almost always out here. My body gets dehydrated if I'm out of water too long. Which..is why I'm constantly drinking."

Making a face, Haze brought his hand to his mouth, still listening to LW as she spoke. Seconds later he began to pull out what appeared to be a large wad of swamp guck from his mouth, before dropping it back in the water and turning his full attention back to the she-wolf. "Really?" He stared at her a moment. "You never come back here? I'm here whenever I can be. My dorm doesn't quite meet up to my standards, so its nice to be somewhere that sort of reminds me of my own swamp. A lot smaller of course, but still nice." Oh how he missed his swamp; that nice toxic haze, the critters that lived along side him, his nice succulent fish he enjoyed feasting upon daily. He was definitely home sick..

Nodding he began to swim around again in his secondary swamp, still keeping an eye out for any small fishes that might swim by--if there was any. There had to be some! "Yeah!" Wrinkling his nose, he swam back over to shore, stopping when he reached her. "That..would be gross." He made a gesture to hold his nose before quickly diving back in and under the water. Surfacing seconds later, he practically did a back float. "I thought I saw a fish." Snorting at her reply, the boil grinned. "You bet! Bloated as well. It looked like a tick ready to pop!"

The more she tried to explain it, the more he became confused. It was like someone trying to explain rocket science to him or something--it couldn't be done! At least not after one try. "Ohhh! Stories..on uh..skelevisions..Yeah you'll have to show me later." Floating about, his eye's shifted back to her again.

"Yeah." He doubted that anyone else would appreciate that he did that to them, but that was half the fun! The reactions were priceless! "Nah, but its funny anyways." Shaking his head, he continued. "Not if you do it to different people. Some of their reactions are different. It can be quite entertaining." Though, when no one was around, it was a little boring. But then again, he spent his whole life alone in his swamp. Unless you counted the little critters that lived there with him. "Uh..Nothing really. Aside from that, this place just relaxes me."

"Hmmm..I guess that's true. As I recall, a lot of land creatures don't like the water where I live--but that could also be because its toxic to them." There were a few, like him, who had adapted to the water. It was nice to fend off predators whom came looking for an easy meal. Not that Haze had anything to worry about--he was the biggest creature in his swamp. "So I don't think you would want to swim back in my swamp."

Nodding, he watched the water longingly before returning his gaze. "Yeah. Fish is my main diet. Mind you, the fish from my swamp aren't as puny as these ones. In fact, some are as large as horses." If he were to survive on tiny little fish, he would have probably died long ago. Thankfully, with this human form of his while attending amityville, he was easily able to adapt.

Thinking it over for a second, he gave a shrug. "Sure, why not? Haven't really got much else to do around here right now." Well..that was only half true. He had plenty of school work to read up on and get papers written for--but of course..he was out here instead.

"I don't think a lot of the people here are willing to step foot inside this swamp. So I'm pretty safe from anyone wanting a little payback. Not that it wouldn't be fun to roughhouse with some people." He grinned. Her next question got him to think long and hard. What did he do for fun? "Nothing else. Haven't met a lot of people here, and those I have tend to be busy. I'm not familiar with most of the activities that go on in this place, so I tend to just hang back here."

Haze shrugged in response to the ghoul's answer. He knew very well, that most people avoided swamps at all cost, as it wasn't the nicest of places for them to hang out, what with the smell and all. Nodding, he wiped a bit of swamp sludge from his arm, before looking back to the ghoul. "Yes, indeed!"

Trying to imagine the thought of wolves swimming around in hopes of catching swamp fish was quite amusing to the swamp dragon. It was enough to make him snicker. "Yeah, it doesn't take much effort to catch them--not in my case anyways. All I need to do is inhale really." It was almost like slurping up noodles or something. But much more tastier!

"Really?" He blinked, surprised it would be as easy as that. But hey, worked for him! With nothing better to do, he found himself agreeing to the she-wolf's suggestion of meeting the others, and going to see this..'movie' thing. "Eh, why not?" Stepping out of the swamp, he made no attempt to dry himself off--actually preferring to remain wet--as he made his way towards the ghoul. "Ready when you are."
