Sprite bounded through the forest as fast as she could, the light of the sun climbing higher and higher until it started it's slow descent toward the horizon to welcome the twilight that will signal to the world that night is approaching. Was she being chased? No. The she wolf was chasing to get to her small little home as fast as she could but no doubt with her curiousity and her tendencies to meet new wolves while on the hunt for food, she realized how late she was getting back to her small territory she called her own until she found a good pack to live with.
Slowing down to a stop, the female breathed heavily with the knowledge that she wasn't going to make it in time to her comfort zone and would have to make do with this place here. Looking around, the female started to search for any scents that would lead her to a body of water. Once she found that scent, Sprite trotted towards it and breathed a sigh of relief. If anything she learned from her parents, it was that water was life and without it survival could slowly decline.
Still, the she wolf drank her fill of the water until she was fully relaxed looking around this area to make sure that there wasn't any threats. Especially for a small female like her. Not that she couldn't fight, it was just that her disadvantage was always encountering freakishly giant males with more muscle than her. The good thing was she had speed, as for muscle? She was a female, she didn't need to look freakishly fat. Those thoughts made her chuckle softly with the funny images forming in her mind. Thankfully there was enough light out from the sun to give her a good range to hunt for a small meal before nightfall.
