Here's what I remeber, I'll summarize-
Mari is an orphan. She used to live with her dad (her mom divorced him and was nowhere to be found afterwards), but he got killed by a weapon and miester pair (who were also kishin working together, but she didn't know that). The only thing she has to remind herself of him is an old, wooden marionette (which she named Cam) that he passed down to her. After three years, she was taken to an orphanage and adopted by a female veteran. Most days she treated Mari like a soldier in training servant, greeting her early in the morning with an ice cold bucket of water, and making her do the most riduculous of tasks (like throwing a napkin away in the trascan five blocks away when there was one in the kitchen), but she never abused Mari and on some rare cases acted like a real mom. Soon, Mari came to like the woman and got used to her antics, and for one she finally felt happy since the death of her dad. Then one day, her 'mom' was killed in an attempted break in, Before the killers left though, Mari got a quick glimps of their faces. They were the same people who killed her dad. Back to the orphanange. But no, Mari wouldn't have that. She ran away the day that she was going to be taken back and soon learned about the DWMA. Having no where else to go and learning that they pay thier students every week, Marionette reluctantly enrolled and here she is now.

Abilities: Shadow Puppet: Marionette creates a 'puppet' that she can model to look like anyone she wants (as long as she's seen the person) The puppet can not speak though, and it only works as long as it's strings are tied to Mari's fingers (she calls them it's 'life lines')

Personality:
Marionette is very shy, secluded, and keeps to herself. She as a habit of stuttering whic usually causes her to stop talking all together. While her personality is very calm, Mari is also quite harsh in some cases, probably from her drill seargent-like foster mom, won't tolerate any annoying beavior when angry ,which rarely happens. Usually the only reason she would be in 'kill' mode is if someone insulted, hurt, or (God forbid) destroy one of her many puppets.
