Ithili loved it when the sky was like a blue jewel as it was now. It always comforted him to have a beautiful sky start out his days. His plans weren't many, in fact he didn't know what he was going to do today. The pale stallion had just come back from finding some delicious treats yesterday and had brought back some for later. The clear sky and calm wind had the stallions mind running around. He wanted to be anywhere but in the meadow with his other two siblings. Especially since his sister was starting to get on his nerves with her fears. He loved his siblings dearly but he didn't want to be his sister's protector or have his brother look down on him for not wishing to be the stalwart protector that he was. With his mind made up, Ithili galloped from his home in search for something beautiful. There were still a few areas nearby that he hadn't searched and one never knew if any had ever been left behind from another soquili. there were also the few that he would trade for or happen to obtain by other means not very nice. Granted he rarely stole the objects, but there were a few he could run off the top of his head that he had. This time though he was looking for something that he wouldn't have to resort to such means with.

Sayoko had been grazing on the grass and sniffing the beautiful flowers but when she began to get hot from the sun, she moved to the shade. It wasn't such a bad day outside, there was a light breeze that would blow through occasionally and it wasn't completely cloudy but it wasn't too sunny either. It seemed like the day was just perfect for her to relax and enjoy time to herself. Her color seemed to attract what little sun there was when she was out in the open so she could only stand so much at a time. In her eyes, she is perfect and can't afford to do anything at all to damage her perfection.
The mare closed her eyes and began to relax as the scents of the nature around her filled her senses. In her heart she loved being outside and being one with nature but it was her little secret. If her sister ever discovered how she felt about being under the trees or around water she would probably tell everyone or so she assumed. She laid down in the cool grass under the shade tree, her sleek black tail moved every now and then to keep the bugs away from her. Yoko was in the perfect place to watch her surroundings and if someone came into the field, she would see them right away.

Ithili trotted forth and found that the normal path he took was blocked by a felled tree. It wasn't unusual for such occurrences to happen, but it did often frustrate him. Neighing in disgust, Ithili clamored back around and headed towards the edge of the forest via another path. It didn't take long for him to reach the fields that he so loved to treasure hunt in. The grasses were so tall that when others drop things, they tended to stay lost or the owner easily gives up. The grasses were not the only thing that helped in the hiding of fallen objects, there were shady trees that peppered the area. The shadows from the trees would make it so the sun wouldn't catch off of some of the shiner trinkets and treasures. If one was there at the right time and the shadows were in another place, it was perfect. Ithili had found plenty of beautiful stones and feathers in this field. He had even found a small shining pendant near a cluster of rocks and debris. He later gave that to one of his dearest treasures.
The search began, Ithili quickly eyed the surrounding field. No openly visible shining reflections or brightly colored objects. But his first assumption was wrong, there was a brightly colored soquili not to far from him. She lay underneath one of the trees. Surprised to see someone out and about so early, Ithili grinned and went over to greet her. "Hello. I'm Ithili." She was a beautiful wind, the markings reminded him of patterns swirling in water or the markings on one of his siblings. He also praised, in his mind, the wonderfully thick and long mane that she sported.

Sayoko noticed a rather odd colored stallion in the field and as he came closer to her, she noticed just how strange he was in appearance. The stallion had what looked like fish fins, some kind of green hair and an odd pattern on his mouth. It looked as though the male had gotten into a whole bush of berries and went crazy. She chuckled softly to herself before he reached her and greeted her. "Hello, I'm Sayoko." She knew that it was only right to introduce herself back, she wanted to know more about the stallion anyways. She got to her feet and smiled warmly at him, she let her eyes scan him briefly, she noticed some strange purple markings and some gray spike things on his tail. Yoko was growing even more curious as to what he was and how he behaved. "What brings you this way?" She asked, she was trying to be pleasant and try and start a conversation.

As the female Sayoko stood he looked over her hair. when she was laying down, the stallion couldn't tell how long the dark locks fell. The weight of her hair must be annoying at times, but Ithili could tell why she had it long. It was definitely beautiful. "I'm out looking for beautiful things. I've found trinkets here in this area a few times and hope to find something else while I'm out today. What brings you out here?" He wondered what Sayoko was like. There seemed to be a bit of a deviousness in her that could either be from her openness or she was actually devious. Ithili doubted the latter. He wasn't used to others questioning him. He usually was the one to ask questions, that was if they weren't part of his family. Illarion would has a million questions if he could. Mostly to see if he was needed as a guard of some sort. He was glad that he could break away for the day.

Sayoko smiled at the stallion as he spoke, she was trying to think of ways to get him flustered. "I was hoping to find something interesting to do." She grinned her little flirtatious smile as she got closer to him. "Have you found anything beautiful?" Her long black hair seemed to sway with her as she moved around him in slow circles admiring him with his colors and interesting features. As she walked around him, she would stop briefly just to try and make sounds to try and get him to think she was nipping at his ears.

Ithili watched the mare walk around, confused at her quirky behavior. He wondered why she was acting the way she was. He wondered if most females were like that or just this one. There weren't many that he met. This female was very different than his friend though. "So far I have found only a few things, nothing great or very beautiful. Nothing overly worth keeping. Have you found anything that you feel is interesting?" He wasn't going to comment on Sayoko's hair as he wasn't sure that the beauty of it was only in looks. A beautiful female had to be beautiful on the inside and outside. Otherwise the mare wasn't as beautiful. The sounds she was making had his eyes following her around. He wasn't sure why she was doing it, but it was weird non the less.

Sayoko moved back in front of the stallion and stopped to stare at him. He said he didn't find anything worth keeping?! He didn't find her great or beautiful?! She glared at him in hatred, no one has never complimented her beauty. She turned her back to him but as she stomped away in anger. "I found something bold and very interesting but I think I'll leave it behind." She spat the words at him from over her shoulder and she stormed away, she had no desire to grace him with her company any longer.

Ithili stood there confused. What had he done? Sayoko was obviously pissed, was it because he didn't comment on her hair. Were all females this fickle? He didn't like losing something beautiful but he wasn't sure if the female would stay any longer. Besides she didn't seem to be much of a gem on the inside. Or Ithili was just being rude. He wondered if he should go after her and find out. The pale stallion also wanted to know what she found that she decided to leave behind. It might actually be something beautiful he wanted to keep that she didn't. Careful eyes scanned the ground where the pink female lay. There wasn't anything out of the ordinary. Confused he chased after Sayoko, questions tumbling from him. "Wait, why are you so angry? What did I do? What did you find that you don't want anymore? Was it really not that special?" He was sure that the female wouldn't answer, but one never knew.

Sayoko couldn't believe that the stallion was bold enough to follow her. "I'm angry because of you and what I found was you." She huffed the words at him as she stopped and turned to him in annoyance. The stallion wasn't smart enough to compliment and it seemed that he wasn't smart enough to figure out what it was he had done wrong either, she had no need or desire to inform him either. She knew she was probably being too harsh but she didn't care, it wasn't like she had to be gracious about anything. Her long black tail flicked in anger and she turned on him once again, she couldn't stand to look at his annoying face.

Ithili stood there. Seriously this female was being that stubborn about being called a treasure. Did she really need that kind of compliment? There had to be a ton of stallions that would boost up her self esteem everyday. Why would he have to comment on her especially when she was so rude. Grumbling to himself Ithili though about how Sayoko was being childish and treasures should be acting like that. But then again was this magenta mare even a treasure. What kind of jewel was she inside. Rude and spoiled.Or was this some sort of hur toutside. Maybe cheeky. Ithili could stand there for hours thinking about it but could just ask the female. "You found me huh. Well I would say you're a treasure but I find most treasures don't need to be told they are one. It must be that all the other stallions saying you're a treasure has you only wanting to hear it instead of knowing it. Well I thought I found a treasure, maybe I haven't." And with that he turned from her as well.

Sayoko ignored the words that the stallion spoke, his opinion didn't matter as much as she thought it had. It didn't matter, she shook her head, she was trying to talk herself out of backing up and having the last word. She was a lot better than that, she grumbled to herself as she stormed away from the stallion. Things between them would possibly never be fixed if she ever wished it so but at the point in time, she could care less. Her black braided tail flicked faster in pure hatred, she couldn't even see straight because she was so furious. She picked up the pace, she could not longer stand to walk away from the stallion, she had to run away from him. It was almost as if she was really running away from who it was and how she treated others.
