It was rare for Awendela to travel away from her clan, let alone her family. Still, it was under Rhea's constant nagging that she finally took a step out into the pride. Her dark paws skipped excitedly around in circles, happy that was able to explore without having to answer to any adult for a little while. Of course, it helped that Rhea was there to give her support.
"Over there!" The hare pointed out a patch of foliage, tugging on Awen's ears as she bounced ontop of her back. "Go there! I'm starving, here. You don't want me to die, do you?"
Awen squeeked. "No, no! Of course not." She flipped her ears back, then started walking over to the bush. "Sorry, Rhea. I didn't know."
"You are forgiven." The hare hopped off as soon as they were close enough, and grabbed a pawful of some delicious greenery. "Why don't you sing something for me, Awen?"
That brightened her up. "Sure!" Tossing her striped mane into the wind, the juve let her song fill the air around them. It was a soothing tune, filled with pure happiness after being forgiven by her smaller 'sister'.
Rhea nodded her approval, and munched away.

Sitting underneath in the shade of the small tree, Sokanon had his eyes closed and was breathing slowly. Sokanon tended to drift away from his family even though he loved them dearly. The lion just liked his peace and quiet and today was no different. Sokanon was a rather reserved lion in most cases but he just liked listening to other people talk and hearing what they had to say.
He was listening to everything around him and then he began to hear voices in the distance. Not trying to eavesdrop, Sokanon realized that they were getting closer and closer to him. Opening his eyes to see the source of the voices, Sokanon saw the pretty female and he couldn't help but chuckle as he heard more of their conversation. "Hello there!" Calling out to her, Sokanon felt that it was time to rejoin the world.

It was Rhea that first spotted the foreign lion. The air ripped a piece of foliage, and stuffed it into her mouth irritably. Who was this? And who did he think he was, coming over to talk to her Awen?! It ticked her off to no end when the juvi stopped her song, and turned to look at him instead of her.
"H-he-hello." Awendela squeeked, slowly making her way around to hunch behind Rhea. The hare took a defensive position, prepping herself between the two with a hand on her hip.
"I've never seen you before." Awen piped in curiously, even as she hid. "What clan are you from?"

Continuing to smile widely at Awen, Sokanon didn't really even pay much attention to the hare even though it really didn't seem very happy that he had intruded on their conversation. "I can say the same to you. I'm from the Wolf clan. What about you?" There were a lot of youths running around so it was difficult to keep track of who was who.
Finally he seemed to notice the hare standing next to her and he smiled down at her too. "And hello to you too." He obviously was in a pretty good mood so he was more than happy to speak with both of them. Even though he was generally a more quiet lion, Sokanon still liked to socialize.
