The day wasn't a particularly nice one, but it did not stop Amberlee's progress. She was a wandering mare, the restless type, and it wasn't like her to linger in one place for very long. Today, despite the ominous gray clouds hanging in the sky, and the chilly wind, she made her way down an unfamiliar path. The unicorn hummed a tune as she went, her head held high.
"I wonder how far this goes?" She asked out loud, looking about. Then she spotted a trickle of water, traveling parallel to the path. Interested, she looked down at it while she continued on her way.

There was another wanderer on this day. A mare with a quick temper and a dangerous horn, Kainda was looking for trouble. Her ears flicked a little trotting through the unbeaten path. This was a road she hadn't traveled much, and she was looking to expand her knowledge of the lands. This would present a good opportunity for her as well as a potential place for other sorts of business. Thinking of Rakai made her skin crawl with pleasure and her eyes began half-lidded in a day dream.
Until she bumped into someone else that is. She whinnied angrily backing away and poising her horn forward only to notice the other painted female. A malicious smirk crossed her face. "Well, well...what little fly came into my web, neh?" Kainda glared forward, body shaking with adrenaline. "With a horn I see? Looks a little wimpy...You don't actually use it, do you?"

Amberlee was so focused on the stream that she had no idea that she was not alone. It wasn't until Kainda literally walked into her that she looked up and to see who it was. She backed off quickly, splashing into the water with a surprised whinny of her own.
"What? Are you calling me a bug?" She asked with dismay, shaking off her hooves one by one, which was a rather useless endeavor, as she kept stepping back into the water. "I'm not a bug! And my horn is just fine...What do you mean, 'use it'?" She frowned a little, trying to think of what a horn could be used for, other than a decoration on one's forehead.

This priss was obviously on the wrong side of the tracks. Kainda showed her teeth in a wicked, malicious grin, her eyes glittering with mischief and trouble. "Haha. You might as well be one." Kainda couldn't help but whinny with slight laughter at her question. "You've got to be joking. You've never used your horn?" The mare rolled her eyes stepping forward a little closer. "You can use it for all sorts of things like marking your territory, getting fruit from a high tree, or my personal favorite, goring and fighting." She lowered her head then thrust her neck forward in a feigning stab toward the mare. "But I don't think you know about that, do you Bug?"
