She had been working out in the roguelands since a month and already it seemed to be way different than she expected. From a run in with hyena thieves to building connections to other prides. She was assigned to the colony shortly after being told by her parents had a sit down with her about her spending to much time with the entertainers. Coming in the middle of a very serious relationship issue. Knowing she would be hurt by it all- they sent her off to the colony to learn the trade of becoming a merchant.
As if she was a deer caught in head lights. Of course she was assigned a bodyguard but they were told to protect her when her life was threatened and follow very very far behind her. This time, she was making her way in to unfamiliar territory, foresty? Or soe she saw. It was beautiful and she was amazed but she was on a 'at ease' state and not particularly working.. Venturing deeper in to the wood, Ajani would have liked it.. A sigh as she looked down. Thinking about her pride, her friends made her so gloomy. A girl whom had the world at her finger tips, now she was out on her own..
Looking around but looking distant and enclosed in her own thoughts..

Donte'fao had settled into the Achana's way of life fairly easily, though sometimes he still missed his former life. Mostly, he missed his "father", the wild dog who had raised him. He knew the Achana's views about them, so he didn't mention it to anyone, preferring to keep that secret closely guarded. He didn't want his new home to kick him out because of his past, but it wasn't his fault that he missed the male who had taken care of him, protected him, taught him important life lessons - even if that male was not of his species.
Donte sighed, and moved easily through the wooded area. The forest was quite nice when you got used to it, and it made for a good play area for cubs. Not that Donte had any or wanted any at the point, but it was still a nice though.
His dark pelt made travelling through the forest quite easy as he blended in the with shadows and was hard to spot. Made his life as a scout that much easier though, and he was able to watch people without their notice, and judge them on whether they would make problems for the pride. He was no where near a guard, but he was always fascinated by the strangers that might come wandering through. Most of them never reached the colony though, which he supposed was a good thing.
Hearing the rustling of someone walking the forest, he began to dodge between the trunks, keeping an ear and an eye out for signs of the stranger. A flash of blue caught his eye and he dodged into a shadow, keeping out of sight while he watched, waiting for the person to reveal themselves.

Gracefully taking steps of wonderment at the forest. She's never really seen one like this. Yes, her own pride processed something like it but it was beautiful. Something obviously amazing for her to awe over, but she felt alone and laid her ears back.. She hated being alone. It was weird, but she was the oldest of her mother's daughters and had to learn the outside world. Needed to do something for the pride and it made her jut feel so... Unsure. Slowly she made her way to a stopping point. Thinking that she should have been way way too far from where she could get out.
In that moment she heard something, turning her head with wonderment, unlike others whom would hiss to find out who was stalking them but she wasn't sure. No, she was too nice to hiss. Her ears padded back. "Whos there.." She asked out- side stepping and looking around before she picked up the sound and scent of water. "Woah~" Lifting the side of her head to where she 'heard' it from. A smile crossed her as she made her way, cautiously but towards the water. Lowering her body so she could possibly 'find' the other first. Little did she know she was possibly already spotted.
Getting to the water, she lifted a soft relieving sound and sat by the water. "Rest~" She cuured to herself. "Stop being so paranoid.. not everyone is out to get you." She grumbled to herself.

Donte heard the question before he caught proper sight of the intruder, and he froze when he did. Well, she certainly was blue! But she was also quite beautiful. Donte stared at he from the shadow, feeling rather stalkerish as he followed her towards the water, keeping himself hidden and trying hard not to bring attention to himself.
He was trying to make sure that she was not a danger - though she was still young and clearly would not be taking on the entire pride anytime soon, she might still be dangerous. He cracked a smile when she spoke to herself, telling herself not to be paranoid.
So she guessed that someone was watching her. Well, she was right. He peered at her, and glanced around, looking to see if anyone else appeared as her guards or her family, but no one did. He frowned. Surely she was not traveling alone? That was dangerous for someone as pretty as she was – not to mention she seemed young still.
He hesitated, before stepping from the trees, a little way away from where she stood by the water. “Paranoia can save lives, miss,” he said carefully, hoping not to startle her too badly. He lowered his head to drink, but kept a careful watch on her for any sudden movements. Just because she was pretty, didn't mean Donte wasn't worried about attacks from her.

When she had lowered to get a drink, her fur upon her neck and back scaled in height as she felt the sudden feeling of someone coming up behind her and in that she side stepped and looked up with grace like her mother, as if she had known he was there all along and just wanted to greet him. Slow actions but quick reactions mentally. "Have I disturbed you?" Her head lowered slightly and leaned to the side. "I didn't mean to intrude, Are these the lands of the forest pride? Claimed? If so I would like to talk to the leader, but I am not to harm. Definately not to harm. If this is not the forest pride, please forgive me.. I think I may be lost... " Her voice soft and gentile, smooth and very professional sounding yet cool.
Ears back as she bowed her head to him. For being a princess, she did act like royalty but so approachable, she got compliments for being alluring in some way.. Drawing others in made her feel like she was also a target and mother explained this all to well to her. Just, keep her voice down about the pride, and her linage and she would not be hurt nor found.

Donte drank slowly, calmly, as she spoke - listening to her until she had exhausted her questions and comments for the moment. He raised his head, and peered at her. She was quite a beauty. Again, he was struck with the notion that she should not have been alone. What if others of lesser value, and lesser moral standings had approached her? She could have been harmed, and Donte found that thought very, very disturbing.
Remembering her questions, he nodded his head. "They are pride lands, Miss. Part of the Achana coalition, to be exact." He cast his gaze back towards where the thick of the pride was, far in the distance though he knew the way. "The leader Miss Toh Ni would be happy to speak with you, I'm sure." He eyed her carefully. She said she did not intend any harm and oddly he believed her. She had strength, but he didn't think she intended to harm, it was more a strength of self.
"I can escort you, if you'd like, Miss."
He paused, realising that she likely would have been taught to not go with strangers, and bowed his head to her in greeting. "Forgive me. I am Donte'Fao. Scout of the Achana." He rarely used his full name in greeting anymore, the meaning behind it reminding him of things he would rather forget at times, but he did not see the harm in the beauty before him knowing his name in full.

Who would have thought, that the assassin hadn't been behind her all this time. Nope, she was hiding in the thick forest trees and watched the watcher being watched. When he came up to her, she knew that her princess would not be harmed. Nope, and who would ever leave a princess alone? Emi was never alone. One way or another, Noir and her were around... Or another one of their trusted teammates. One of Nyoka's children?
When he confirmed that he was from the other pride, and that he would escort her. A smile brewed against the edges of her maw as she jumped down from the bushes.. Lifting her head up in an oh so sassy manner. "Yes sir, we thank you humbly for caring for our lady Miki." Bowing her head very slightly before looking over to Emi with a playful smile. Basically telling her straight that she WAS this name- there was no other name she should go by.
Then looking to the male nonchalantly. "Shall we go then~" A soft impish smile came forth. She too was just beautiful in the way she carried herself was full of dedication and directly to the point. Noting where his gaze had went off to, and pretty much every gesture he gave off to Emi.. she took in everything where as the Princess was still.. so easily fooled by minor details.
"Oh I see.. I would like that very much sir." Slowly putting her hoodie down to reveal her soft angelic face. "Sir Donte'Fao, my pleasure to have met you. My name is ~" Being heavily cut off by the sound of someone falling upon grass. A few bristled leafs were heard but when Kata had jumped out of the tree- it was hard to contain the surprise and Emi gasped. To then see who it was before her fur went down and in order again, giving Kata a slightly embarrassing smile. She almost let the cat out of the bag.. Not being careful of what exactly she was saying... He was just so charming and handsome... she had met many others along the way. She could carry herself like her mother intended but just a minor slip would have ruined everything... Her existence.
"Forgive me~ This is my guard Sinta~ I thought I had gotten lost for a moment..." Looking back at Kata with again another helplessly soft smile. "Is it possible that she- too can come along? I wouldn't be quite the same without her around after all..." Putting a paw against her chest, good heavens this had gotten more complicated, looking up at Donte with those sweet innocent eyes. The pair did seem a little odd but they knew each other... they had been semi friends for so long. Well- bodyguard and princess since she could remember, her trust completely lied within Kata if not for anyone else she knew.

Donte hadn’t expected the cheetah in the trees, but he barely flinched as she dropped to the ground, stepping in, though he tensed. He was used to creatures higher than him, and dropping down unexpectedly. He did live with leopards, so it was kind of a daily thing, however he took a step forward –not a step back – prepared to defend the blue cheetah if this cheetah was going to cause trouble, but it seemed that they knew each other. He eyed the other cheetah carefully, but turned back to give a small smile at the blue cheetah, lady Miki it seemed.
“The pleasure is all mind, I’m sure,” he murmured back. “Of course your guard may accompany you, if she promises to cause no trouble in the AChana.” He eyed Sinta again. “We are a peaceful pride, rarely do we have use for guard.” Especially personal guards. There were guards for the edge of the pride, and scouts like himself to keep track, but no one had personal guards. Not even Tohni, that Donte had noticed.

Kata was eager to seek out more alliances but sometimes her best foot forward seemed wrong. She bowed her head as she recovered a few steps around and behind Emi. They used many alias and sometimes it was hard to keep up when Emi had already introduced her. Sinta, she nodded to Emi in acknowledgement. "Please don't mind me... " Waiting for them to continue forward before moving even an inch from where she stood. Having to leave behind most of the group they were traveling with just to come to this particular pride... The forest, granted was an excellent place to live.. She trained in forests such as this. Finding herself gazing off..
"I assure you that she is merely here to escort me..." Nodding her head as she went to stand next to him. Looking him in the eyes as she spoke with a calmness to her. Then she looked at Kata and for a moment, she stopped and analyzed why she had wondered off. To find some place calming but also noting the pride..
"Before I meet your leader... is there any possible way we could freshen up. Or, rest... we have come from a long journey across the sands, grass and time to get here. I feel it may be taking it's tole.. Is that possible? If not, we can go rest and come back tomorrow if that seems better Sir Donte.." Offering her paw to show her explanation through the movements of her palm. "The journey has shown on me.. hasn't it. I feel embarrassed I had not noticed sooner til Sinta reminded me.." Merely by her gaze and how tired both the cheetahs were..
