The battleground is simple. A plain with yellow grass reaching up to the ankles of both opponents. It's a large, wide open space. Here, you battle your opponent with no restraints, as there is no hiding for either side. When you enter the plain, the gloves are off. Best of luck.

A lone Shinobi walked onto the grassland. He wore the clothes of a Yukigakure Ninja. He looked out upon the open land and smiled slightly. He didn't get to travel often. He hefted the Iron Sand gourd and his Katana as the Jounin walked further into the grassland. Tatsuya looked around once more hoping to find someone to get directions from . . . he gets lost easily.

Tatsuya smirked. He looked at the Hatake and nodded. The Iron Sand and the gourd itself dispersed. It misted the area putting Tatsuya out of sight. Quickly, he sank into the ground. He willed the Iron Sand to move towards the white haired boy while he made a couple handseals, the earth beneath the Hatake child shifted pulling him below. Iron Sand fell down towards the Ronmaru in clumps, if any of those hit, he would be badly injured. In one fluid motion, Ronmaru drew his katana, coated it in Hatake chakra, and threw it away from him like a projectile. It was also in the opposite direction from the cloud of Iron Sand. He didn't like to use one of his much stronger techniques so early in the fight, but the man wouldn't be able to see behind all the Iron Sand anyway. Using the Genin-ranked variation of the Fuzen Hiraishin, he appeared next to his weapon, now safe from the attack due to his teleportation ninjutsu. For now, he could only do prep work. After throwing his katana into the air, he formed a single hand seal--Ram. Within moments, that one katana had replicated into one hundred copies. This was the Rain of One Hundred Swords technique. With the final burst of chakra, the chakra infused swords flew into the Iron Sand cloud at projectile speed from multiple angles. For the other man, visibility was either terrible or he could see through the sand. Unfortunately, the Hatake had never seen him go underground, so he would need to act on his toes. Inside and outside of the cloud of Iron Sand, there was a multitude of chakra-coated blades sticking out of the ground. It was part of his battle style of the Infinite Sword. For now, all he could do was wait.
