A soft summer breeze swept across the land, picking up leaves and dust, Ani watching it with extreme interest. Everything seemed so strange, and new, but she knew at one time it was normal to her. At least, that's what Koji told her. Koji had been watching over Ani for a while now, making sure she developed correctly, and did exactly as she was supposed to do. It was a little constricting for Ani, to think she had to grow into this person she had once been. Koji had this idea of Ani in his head, but now, she was different. She had thoughts and likes that were different than before, but, perhaps that was a good thing. He knew she wasn't just a blank doll, but a person. With her own heart.
Ani wandered around on the outskirts of town, wanting to play in the field, but Koji didn't want her out of his sight. It was boring really. Not being able to play when she had all this energy bundled up in her tiny little body. Any day she was just going to spring, and start bouncing off walls. Her hands folded behind her as she fidgeted on the spot, looking around for someone to talk to while Koji bought lunch for them.

Sophie walked around quietly, looking for some plants to bring home to Mina. She loved walking around when she had the chance to. Mina was home cooking this time so she didn't tag along. It was better in the long run since Mina tended to get lost quite often around here. She liked going out alone sometimes. She smiled and looked around as she saw another person off in the distance.
She walked up to them and smiled a bit. "Hi there! How are you today?" She wondered why they looked a little sad on such a beautiful day like today. She fidgeted with the basket full of flowers in her hands, it was a little heavy after finding so many flowers. "I'm Sophie, who are you?" She was a little shy but she wanted to meet new people so that she wouldn't have to worry as much about strangers.

Ani blinked, looking at the new person who had just walked up. They were really pretty, with bright green eyes and white hair. Ani smiled and kicked at the ground "I am okay..." She mumbled, smiling softly at the new person. "My name is Ani...it is good to meet you Sophie." Ani was still learning Chinese, so it was hard to use contractions, and not to sound formal in her speech all the time. Ani looked at the flowers and smiled softly "Pretty." She stated simply, pointing to the flowers. "I like flowers." She said, nodding her head.
Koji watched from afar, smiling, Ani was making another friend, and so quickly. It was adorable really, to watch her grow and develop. She was still having trouble with conversation, but she was sure to get better soon.

Sophie smiled, the way Ani spoke reminded her of Mina. She looked down at her basket of flowers and nodded. "I like flowers too, my Guardian has a little garden of them near our home. I thought I would bring her a few different types though." She looked through the flowers and pulled out one that matched Ani's hair. " You can have this one if you like. It matches your hair." She smiled and held it out to Ani. "Also if you want to speak in another language, I can probably follow along if it helps. My Guardian came from England and has a hard time with her Chinese."
She noticed someone standing in the distance. "Is that your guardian?" She was a little nervous of the new person that was watching them but she waited patiently for an answer before panicking.

Ani blinked and smiled softly "Thank you. Very much." She said, accepting the flower and twirling it around between her fingers. "It is, very pretty." She said again, smiling even more. Ani cocked her head to the side. England was not a place Koji taught her. But it couldn't hurt to learn another language, Koji was always trying to get her to learn more. "I would very much enjoy that." She said, stumbling over the words she really wanted to use.
Ani looked over her shoulder, seeing Koji, before turning back to Sophie. "Yes. My guardian. He is very kind." She said, smiling softly. "He makes sure I am un...un..." She strained for the rest of the world, before settling on "Not hurt." She finished, nodding and smiling.
