Tonight was peaceful. Lately, a lot of Sinon’s nightly patrols were relatively tranquil. Of course there were the usual youma encounters, rescuing civilians, and the occasional patrolling with a fellow senshi, but her night life had fallen into a comfortable routine. Perhaps she could blame the summer for that. Sinon slid down the street on her skateboard, gently smiling as the wind blew her short hair. This season she wasn’t freezing her arms off. Unlike other senshi, she was rather fortunate to have chaps—complete with buttons to take off when the weather grew too hot!
“Summer is so nice. Why can’t it be summer all year round?” she mused, though she eventually realized that would probably mean school would have to be held even in the summer, which just wouldn’t do.
Sinon rounded a corner, her eyes widening when she spotted a shadowed figure. She hastily placed a boot down to stop herself from traversing closer to the stranger. After the embarrassing fiasco with Niflhel, she had learned to pay closer to attention signatures, and this one was anything but. Clearly, this was a Negaverse agent. She leaned forward and curiously peered at him. His signature felt strong. Was he a captain?
And then she noticed the chaps. “You have chaps too?!” Her expression quickly transformed from suspicious to excited like woah.

Bismuthite had been making plans to leave the city, returning only to turn in his quota. But before all that, there were still things he had to do. He had been walking down the street, seemingly rather distracted by his own thoughts, ignoring power signatures.
Then he heard an exclamation that drew him from his brooding. Pink eyes, widened slightly in mild surprise, looked at the senshi. For once he wasn't exactly sure whether he felt like beating the s**t out of one tonight - as had become his favorite nightly sport - or just....entertaining the little lady. Indeed, his chap buddy.
"Apparently, yes. Yes I do."
Uh...what now? He guessed she wasn't a part of the BMC, or else she probably would have recognized him as Rota's notorious murderer. Lucky for him, considering he really wasn't bothering to hide tonight.

“Wow! I wonder if that makes us chap buddies? I mean, it’d be awesome and all, but…” Her voice trailed off. They were clearly on opposing sides. Sinon wasn’t sure if a tentative friendship could form with their circumstances. Personally, she did not mind. She couldn’t quite tell herself that the Negaverse were completely bad. They led ordinary lives too—it’s just that they had a tendency to kill people more often than senshi did, yeah…
She stared at Bismuthite with wide, curiously blinking eyes. It was not often Sinon encountered people with silver hair and pink eyes. In fact, his matching uniform seemed vaguely familiar. Her head slowly tilted to the side as she attempted to recall where she had met the captain before, if at all. Perhaps at one of the large, en masse battles?
“Ah! Um…” That was right. She should be fighting him, rather than making small talk. Oops. Sinon brought a tentative arm up as she readied her attack, but Niflhel’s words echoed in her mind. You wait and see who they are… But she had waited enough already, hadn’t she? “Web of Lies!” She swung her arm, unleashing a flurry of thin, sharp threads. “No hard feelings, okay?”
