Name: Michael John Gallo
Nickname: “Cupcake” by his mother. “Mike” and “MJ” by his friends and acquaintances.
Age: 25
Birthday: November 2nd
Sign: Scorpio
Gemstone: Golden Topaz
Blood Type: A+
Fav. Food: He agrees with his two younger brothers: Mom’s lasagna is heaven sent.
Hated Food: He’ll eat almost anything (or at least try it once), but he’s not all that fond of sweets, and a bad cup of coffee can completely ruin his morning.
School: N/A.
Hobbies: Baseball – The Gallo family sport. Like both of his younger brothers, Michael has played baseball for most of his life, starting with t-ball as a child and participating on local youth teams, as well as playing on the school team all through high school. His position of choice is shortstop, though he’s pretty adept at moving around and playing any of the infield positions. He makes it a habit of continuing to practice. He no longer plays on a team, but he’ll get together with family and friends every once in a while for games at the park or local sandlot.
Water – Michael is a man of the sea. He loves the ocean and will engage in any and every activity that involves surf and sand. He likes building sandcastles, playing a game of beach volleyball, or even just passing a Frisbee back and forth on the sand. He likes surfing, diving, fishing, and boating. He even has his own sailboat, which his parents bought for him to celebrate his return from duty, and which he named Eulalie in accordance with the family tradition of naming things after poems by Edgar Allen Poe. Michael’s idea of a perfect summer day involves being out on the water, or on the beach enjoying a beer while checking out the girls in their bikinis.
Working Out – Maintaining his good looks means maintaining a healthy physique. Michael has always been pretty active, participating in various sports (with most of his focus being taken up by baseball, of course) and other such activities that allow him to stay in shape. He’s gotten into the habit of jogging almost every morning and visits the gym a few times a week to lift weights and/or use some of the other equipment. He’ll give any work out a try. A couple of his prior girlfriends had him join them for aerobics, Pilates, and yoga classes. He wasn’t completely in love with the idea, but anything that tones his muscles and gets the blood flowing is worth a shot in his opinion.
Family – He’s not ready to settle down yet—he rather enjoys making the most of his youth—but Michael is still pretty family oriented. He no longer lives at home, but he drops by frequently now that he’s back in town. He enjoys being pampered by his mother and spending some quality time with his father, and he has a good relationship with both of his younger brothers. Family barbeques and the neighborhood charity functions his mom has a part in are always enjoyable and never uneventful.
Virtues: Focused/Driven – Michael’s the sort of guy that knows what he wants and what needs to be done, and has a pretty good idea of how to get there. Whether it’s something work related or more personal, he isn’t easily distracted and will work at something until he has accomplished it to his or his superiors’ satisfaction. While not overly ambitious, he definitely has goals that he’s intent on seeing through.
Personable – He can seem pretty full of himself (and to an extent, he is), but Michael was raised to be a gentleman. He is charming and generally quite considerate, especially in polite company. He will hold the door open for a young lady, help an old woman with her groceries, and offer comfort to a scared child. He is friendly and engaging, and he offers plenty of compliments where compliments are due. Michael is rarely rude. Unless you’re a douche, chances are he’ll get along well with you; it isn’t until he’s confronted by a complete b***h or a jackass that he allows the gentlemanly image to fall.
Secure – Michael was bred for confidence. He comes from a wealthy family headed by a successful father and a gracious, kindhearted mother. He proved himself to be quite intelligent in over the course of his education and had a successful enough career in the navy. He has few (if any) worries. Michael is good looking and he knows it. He can be cocky, but he tends to keep it to himself, presenting a less arrogant but still self-assured image to those around him.
Flaws: Exaggerator — There's nothing wrong with stretching the truth a little, is there? Michael doesn't think so! In fact, he often engages in a little bit of exaggeration for almost everything in his life. It can be from a little white lie to hopefully boost the ego of someone else, to explaining things that happened to help his own image. These little lies and half-truths aren't usually noticed until he's known for a little while, and after that, they can get pretty annoying. His family corrects him when he's retelling events from reunions, his friends know not to believe in the 'big fish tales' he talks about, and strangers who are more keen on picking up exaggerations may have something to say to him about lying, or maybe roll their eyes. Either way, it's difficult being entirely truthful when lying has worked out so well. It also doesn't help that sometimes his exaggerations come off as patronizing, depending on who he is talking to and the situation.
Superiority — Being forced into the 'leader' postion as one of the oldest of the younger generation in his large extended family, Michael has, from a young age, sought to 'take charge' of things. Because he is clearly older and wiser and knows better than those around him. With his friends and co-workers he 'takes the lead' there, too, but is often pegged as being 'bossy'. He thinks highly of himself and knows he can get a good job done, so why would he waste time not telling others what they need to do to accomplish tasks?
Judgmental/Snobbish — While he can be a gentleman, he has also had very little to worry about in his life and tends to give off a holier-than-thou attitude around those he doesn't agree with. He also tends to judge before really getting to know someone, placing them in their own little categories after an initial conversation, or even from the moment they introduce themselves. Although he doesn't say it out loud, Michael places people into stereotypes, and expects nothing more or less from them, until they prove themselves 'worthy' of being placed in another, non-stereotyped group.
PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION

azure blue eyes, complete with a charming twinkle.
Hair: He has dark auburn-red/mahogany hair, but being in the navy he got into the habit of keeping his hair cut short –
like so. He likes easy to manage hairstyles, something he can take a brush or comb to in the morning and not have to worry about much during the day.
Face: Mature, with a long, straight nose, a strong jaw, and a firm chin. He has a nice smile and shows it often.
Physique: 6’2” and nicely muscled. Michael has an athletic frame, though nothing too difficult to upkeep. His skin is olive toned and naturally tanned from all the time he spends outdoors.
Clothes: His mother taught him to dress nice. Polo and button-up shirts with a nice pair of kahki slacks are what make up most of his wardrobe. He prefers darker colors and earth tones, especially a nice blue or green.
Job: At the beginning of the summer, Michael decided that he didn't want to spend his entire life in the Navy, and instead decided to take a civilian role. He is now applying to be a teacher at Azure Valley High School for teaching engineering and mechanics.
