Mine is personally the Sphinx. Sorry I didn't put more in the poll, I wanted to give it diversity, but I couldn't, I mostly know Greek Mythology.

Well, I don't have a specific favourite. There are a lot of really interesting and powerful specifications of magical beasts. But among your poll choices, I think the Djinn fascinates me the most. I've only heard about it recently, and I think its dead useful. smile

I like the Furies from Greek (or is it Roman...ah who cares they're pretty much the same!) mythology. But, I'd have to say that the best is Grendel's Mother (from the epic Beowulf and Grendel. She is like part human and part beast!
