Name: Stuura Nickname(s): She goes by Ura, mostly Age (Appearance Wise): Sixteen Age (Actual): 86 Personality: Timid: -- Ura rarely tries new things, and when she does, she throws a temper tantrum if things even appear to be scary, harmful or just plain different. Which is practically every day, which makes her life very taxing, to say the least, when everything around you is new and different. She tends to react waspishly to new book children and city people, though they do grow on her eventually-- though they'd almost never know by how much she is constantly speaking of her regret of ever meeting you. Determined: -- As soon as something new ceases to be new, even if it continues to scare or intimidate her, a steely resolve flows over her to finish whatever it is she is doing. Threw a tantrum because you want her to meet a new Book Child? Oh, well, now she's going to grimly meet this child if it's the last thing she does. She never likes it, but she does have a high sense of what is expected of her, and a belated sense of how she comes across to people. To improve relationships with those around her, she sticks to them like a burr, throwing accusations and prodding them along to achieve their goals, which is tiring at best. Her heart is in the right place, but her actions are severely irregular. Matter of Fact: -- Ura is not a dreamer, by any stretch of the imagination. She will tell you how it is, from her perspective (just as often wrong as it is right), and never sugar coats anything, truth or otherwise. She feels there is too much time wasted on magical nonsense, though part of her, very way deep down, wishes that maybe there is a little magic in the world to fix her legs. Ura is never not in trouble, usually because of her temper and her lack of understanding of emotional needs; she's too goal oriented, stubborn and afraid of the unknown. And emotions are frankly unknown to her, the warm and fuzzy kinds that keep most people happy, Ura has few and far between. Thoughts on the Forest: Ura was quite glad to see the back of it. Also, quite difficult maneuvering a wheelchair out of an old growth forest. Thoughts of Book Children: She "warms" to them quicker than the City People, but it still takes awhile for her to feel any comfort. Thoughts on City People: The human ones are all well and good, but the ones that are less so are scary. Physical Appearance:
Hair (color and style): Pale brown, with green underneath; curls slightly at the bottom Eye color: Pale green Skin tone and features: An oval face with pasty skin and large eyes, Ura is the embodiment of pretty little victorian child-- pretty little sick Victorian child. She does not have the use of her legs, though the only thing odd about them is that the are stained green at the bottom of her feet, as if she was running around in fresh grass... which, as a paraplegic, is hard to do. She has a pert nose, and a mouth that is prone to frowns, if not full on apocalyptic tantrums-- even though she appears sickly, she has a temper. Outfit: I'd rather leave this semi custom, with ideas! I'm thinking that she's in a wheelchair covered with flowers, maybe made out of birch twigs? It shouldn't be too hightech, more that it looks like it was made out of natural things. Both Indian and British/Victorian influences would be lovely, especially on the clothing. I'd love her to be wearing a key on her, anywhere, really, or even holding one.
History: Hobbies: Needleworking, paper craft, looking morosely at people with legs. Birthday: June 23rd Favorite Things: Seeing the outdoors from indoors, fresh cut flowers Hated Things: New experiences
Story: The Secret Garden Favorite type of Ending: The ones that allow girls to be the "hero" without having to end with getting the man (as if that was more important). Favorite Illustration: Too many! Dreams:

Pre- stamp critique! OH U. Before I can do stamp le stampies, you just need to give a small critique to another quest and I can do a small critique for you to respond to as you like. What are the levels of her temper tantrums. Some people go balls to the wall, throwing stuff, breaking anything and everything. Some are more verbal. Also, what is her life like currently in the city, does she live with a city person or hold a job? Can her chair grow flowers which she sells? Does she often fuss with her chair or move from it? Thins to consider or play around with! Personality she reads fine, I'm not seeing anything glaring. But just curious on her cureent 'status' in the city and history (if anything in it might be pertinent)
