Among the assortment of booths, an interesting machine can be seen. The base appears to be a large tank filled with water, and if you take a gander through the clear window in the front of the tank, less than friendly looking fish peer back hungrily. Suspended over the tank is a seat occupied by a very unhappy man of the cave troll variety, wearing a name tag and sitting cross-legged. He seems unwilling to dangle his feet. Without even a hello, he points to a sign reading:

A ball whizzes past the cave troll's head and smacks into the fence-like protector behind him, causing him to flinch and shout at the fleeing perpetrator, " HEY! WATCH IT!" The ball simply falls into the tank with a plunk, and Inigo uneasily watches it get devoured by the tank's inhabitants. " Why'd I go and volunteer for this..." Oh yeah, that's right -- he heard all it required was sitting. " OKAY, LISTEN UP! You buy a ball and throw it at the target. THE TARGET AND NOTHIN' ELSE.
Hit it and you win a prize -- so don't miss or you'll have to buy another ball and try again.

Amphi dropped the seed for payment as she stared at the ball given to her. It weighed heavily in her hand as she thought about how best to throw it. Giving it her all, she rolled the ball in her hand and then, let it go. It arced beautifully in the air and right... *THOWMP* "Oh jack!" She stared as she hit the man. Her only recourse.... RUN!!!

Sebastian stared at this "dunk" booth. He had never heard of won before, nor seen one in practice. It seemed like you had to hit a target though. That was easy enough.
What really baffled Seb was why the man was sitting over a vat of water. It was obvious he wasn't exactly the most ... hygenic of fellows, so it must be that he was taking a bath right? But ... why would he take it in the middle of the floresctival? Why was he just sitting above it too? Perhaps he was a water denizen of some sort?
No that couldn't be it. He definitely looked ... trollish.
Sebastian pulled up his hood and went over to the booth. He picked up a ball and looked at the target. He could probably hit it right? Maybe something would happen ...
He took a step back and chucked the ball at the target. It whizzed through the air speedily and ...
Completely missed. Well, it was no secret that Sebastian wasn't athletic in the least. Perhaps he had been in his past life, which was why he was so slight, but certainly not in his death. He was rather happy that undead didn't gain weight actually- less exercising was always nice. Still, it was a shame that he'd missed.

Reluctantly, Ishie passed over the seed. It pained him to hand the currency over, but he couldn't pass the chance to try a dunk tank. Accepting the ball, his tongue peeked out of the corner of his mouth as he took aim. With all of his might, he gave the ball a toss and waited with bated breath. When the ball missed and bounced off the now angry troll, Ishie released a manly squeak and took off running from the booth.

Bastian picked up another ball to redeem himself. If he hit it this time, he would redeem himself right? He rolled the ball around in his hand. What if he missed though? Then he would just look stupider.
Still, he had to try! He threw the the ball as hard as he could ...
and hit the man on the stand! How was that even possible?! He was like ten feet away! Sebastian decided to sulk off to another booth- this was just too embarrassing.

Ys found that her wandering feet had brought her up to another booth involving water. Huzzah! This was an interesting contraption, but she wouldn't have been sure how to play the game if not for the useful example of other students giving it a try. After paying the toll and hefting a ball to test its weight, she threw it at the target with all her might. With a satisfying thwack, the ball connected with the target. Ys watched in mixed amusement and embarrassment as she sent the hapless Vagabond into the water. While it was pretty entertaining, she did feel badly for the haunt, seeing as how whatever in the water didn't seem to enjoy him sharing it intermittently. He seemed to be holding something now and she squinted at it as she readied her next shot.

Ys waited expectantly for her prize for having dunked him, but it seemed that the unfortunate dunk victim was stingy this time around. She pursed her lips and stood with her hands on her hips, toe tapping, the absolute image of impatience. "Nothin', eh?" she repeated, eyeing whatever was in his hand. Ah well, maybe next time. "We'll ssssee nexxt time." She sauntered off to try out some other games, intending to come back later for another go.

As Vagabond got back up, Zeke anxiously looked at him, waiting for a prize. "Surely, I gots some good prizes if I got you dunk'd, right?" Zeke smiled genuinely at him. Vagabond tossed an ifish at him, Zeke nearly dropped it upon catching the thing. "Thanks good sir!" Zeke then walked off with his newly won prize, happy as a clam. Now this looked interesting! Merope looked up and down the cave troll’s booth, his grin growing wider as the pieces fell into place. He gladly purchased a ball, setting down his prizes out the way. This was going to be fun! He threw the ball up and caught it, grinning as he took aim and threw it at the target. Plunk!"Oh come on!" "Alright! Let's do this again!" Merope demanded, slapping down another seed onto the counter. He examined the ball, considering. Okay, what did he do wrong? There's gotta be a trick to this, a secret that would let him hit the target. Thinking wouldn't get it. Merope pulled his arm back and threw the ball, taking another shot. "YES!" He had to try again. Had to. Merope stared at the cave troll hard, hoping that it would make something happen. Inigo didn't burst into flames like Merope hoped. Grumbling under his breath, Merope settled for paying for another ball and throwing it. "HA!" Merope called out, jabbing his finger at him. "That's what you GET!"
