Enthallion lay on a hill blanketed with flowers. He gazed up at the stars. What worlds lived up there? Where they better than the worlds here? Less strife, pain, horror? Enthallion got a little dizzy from craning his neck up that high. he glanced around but no one in his adopted family was awake. He had been very fortunate to find them, or rather they had found him. He wondered who else was out there in the darkness this night. It was pleasantly clear and cool out so he was content to sit with his blanket away from the tree and the warmth of the other three horses, he wasn't to far away from them but not to close to disturb them either.

The stallion that was stepping lightly through the soft grasses looked much like the night sky itself. He bent his star-spattered neck, grazing at the sweet grasses with pleasure. He smelled other horses nearby, which was also comforting. He nibbled away, pausing every so often to take note of his surroundings. He had wandered away from his herd this night, and so the task of ensuring his safety was also his own. While he wasn't oblivious to his surroundings, he remained unaware that a certain little colt was awake, and that he was probably quite visible to said colt, if the young one could pick out his dark shape in the already dark night. He found a small bit of thistles and, recognizing one of his favorites, took the few steps necessary towards the patch, hoof ornaments clinking softly in the night. All in all, if one was sleepy enough, he could have appeared to be a mere vision, or a mystical horse descended from the skies that would vanish at the first light of dawn.

Enthallion cocked his head at a light tinkling noise coming from very close by. He looked in that direction but saw nothing, wait there was a blur and the unmistakable smell of ripe thistle, could thistles tinkle? Wait the blur was moving! he focused his eyes and it appeared that there was a horse there but it didn't look like a normal horse it had ousted both Tide and Ion for coloration. Enthallion din't know what to make of him so he slowly got to his feet and inched over to see what the creature was doing.
"Hello? What are you doing?" he asked the seemingly mystical being.

Neblae's ear twitched as he heard the sound of movement, swiveling to pinpoint the location. Whatever it was didn't sound large enough to be a threat to him, as the hunting cats would rarely make such a sound. Horses being notoriously near sided and not having the best vision at night, it took him a moment to notice the colt before the young one spoke, asking the most simple and possibly obvious of questions.
Just out for a bit of a graze, little one. What are you doing awake? he asked, alert for adults who might think something untoward was occurring here. He didn't want anyone thinking he was a threat to the young colt and so he may have seemed a little tense.

Oh this was a male, Enthallion would be extra careful as he mistrusted male Azrein. "I was watching the stars, my herd is near I am not alone." Said Enthallion sounding brave. A yawn came from nearby backing up the foals story. "You are very colorful, are you a star too?" asked the tired foal. It was perhaps a silly question but the stallion was rather hard to see in the dark.
Enthallion yawned himself and then looked upward again. "Why are they all swirly like that?"
