I Was Talking To Her Earlier This Evening When A Friend Of Mine Popped Into The Conversation.
I Know He's Bi, Because 1. It Says In His FB And 2. I Can Tell.

I Kinda Like Him, And I Told My Mom. She Was Okay With Everything, Until I Got To The Part Of Him Being Bi.
She Made A Disgusted Face And Said "NO! Ew...Dont Do It"
I Literally Dont Mind, As Long As Hes Not A Cheater, I Could Care Less About His Sexual Orientation.
I Kept Trying To Make My Mom Understand, But She Preferred To Get Up And Leave Things Like They Are.

She most definitely sounds a little homophobic. I say go for it, because if you really like him then thats all that matters, and maybe if you guys do start dating and you moms around him, she can start to get over it?

Tell your mother plain out that she's not in charge of who you make friends with. Though, whether or not she's homophobic is none of your business, unless it gets too much. She's allowed to believe what she believes.

My mom is a bit homophobic too...or sometimes...it seems like she's back and forth. There is no middle of the road. And I never speak to her or my dad about anything really. They know about me but I never bring anything up. In fact they are supporters to a certain level. Which is cool. My advice it so say "live with it" word for word. And nothing else. lol

She might not be homophobic, exactly. Just unfriendly to bisexuals. I know people like that. I know people that adore homosexuals, but they think bisexuality is disgusting.
For example, my exgirlfriend. She would often times say that it's disgusting and she would leave me if I were bisexual. When I asked why she would never date someone who was bisexual, she gave me an answer so stupid that it shocked me. "Well, I already have to worry about you looking at other women. I don't want to have to worry about men, too."

No, that's not how it is. Heterosexuals are just as likely to cheat. Just because someone is bi and there for likes twice as many genders, doesn't mean they are twice as likely to cheat. It's stupid and insecure.

If you like this guy, you shouldn't let your mother's horrifically biased opinions against bisexuals change your mind. Go for it!

Yes, I agree with everyone. If you like this guy then go for it. I'd date a bisexual dude and not just because I like yaoi. lol I would worry about him when hot guys/girls would walk by, but at least we could both ogle at hot guys and have similar tastes in other men. It'd be fun. ^^ Your mom will get over it one day.
