The Negaverse Captain was out on the prowl once more. After taking sufficient time to cuddle out her anger and frustration, she was back in the game. The defeats she had suffered at the Camp were only fleeting and temporary: she would endeavor onward and defeat her many enemies.
Namely, every senshi and knight that existed.
Particularly the knights. There were so many now, it felt, but still way fewer then the rats that were senshi. She wanted to n** their progress in the bud, but it was impossible for her to know who would awaken as a knight, even if she did understand that their items appeared to them and that was how they powered up. So stopping them from spawning was not possible, unless she got lottery level lucky.
No, she had to continue to be vigilent. She had to hunt them and introduce herself to them personally one by one. Let them understand what they were truly dealing with if they decided to join this fight, and if they chose the wrong side. Which of course they would.
She was crouched on the roof of a low building like a gargoyle, a gym of some kind she had discovered, waiting for the patrons to filter out to fewer numbers before she slipped in there and set up some kind of trap. Even if she was serious in her hunt, that didn't mean she couldn't still have fun.
What was a hunt without a few traps?

Azzo was leaving the gym his bag slung over his shoulder. He had a habit of looking around, just a precursory to make sure nothing was lurking his eyes spotted an unfamiliar form on the roof top. However, instead of lingering on it he simply proceeded to walk off as if he'd not noticed the new addition.
He stopped a few blocks over, after he'd turned a corner and made sure no one was around or watching. Powering up he made his way back towards the gym. The squire was moving at a good pace but slowed when he reached the back of the gym. He then proceeded to jump to the top of the building. Feeling the darker energy as he did. "I daresay," He stood there watching the figure, "I didn't know we invested in new roof ornaments."

"They wanted to spice the place up, give it a bit of class," the Captain said, standing to her full height. She liked to think she was impressive, especially with the gained height of the railing she was standing on, but she was not the most intimidating person in the world. She stared at the knight, grinning.
"You're not like most of the others, are you? A bit stronger. But only a bit," she scoffed, hoping down from her perch languidly. Sashaying a bit closer to him, she summoned her weapon to her hand. The long javelin was comfortable in her hand these days, an extension of herself.
She liked to keep it happy, and the Spirit of Mr. Saddles seemed to be happiest when it was drawing blood. Of course, she knew very well she was just giving a sharp stick some human characteristics, but wasn't that what an extension of herself meant?
Plus it kept her amused.
"I've not seen you before. I don't like the fact that you're stronger already. Though, I do like your hat."

Niflhel watched as she spoke, mentioning he was a bit stronger than the others. "Mmm... I'd suppose you could say that I was." The Squire gave a soft shrug as the captain continued.
He gave a small smile at the hat comment, "Mm... and I think you're outfit is interesting." He didn't seem to worry about grabbing for his chain he was busy watching the Nega agent sashay close to him.
He tilted his head thought, "You haven't seen me before?" He counted with a interested chuckle, "Perhaps, I didn't want to be seen before." There was a smile, "After all they often say watch and learn." He thought he'd caught just a glance of her at the camp. Though he wasn't really sure, this day and age it was hard to say who he saw. There were so many of them, not nearly as many as senshi, but still a great number.
"I suppose you're going to want to dance?" He asked lofting a brow at the captain, hoping she knew he meant fight, as he would have assumed from the calling of her weapon. Though despite that, he wasn't about to attack first.

Camp was a blur to Painite. There had been so many senshi and other annoying things there, she was mostly working on blocking it all out, save the details she needed to remember to do better next time. The rest, even the fact that she had technically lost, was irrelevant.
"I'm not much of a dancer," she hummed, twirling her javelin around leisurely. It had taken a lot of practice, and many accidental stabbings, cuts, and whacks to herself, to perfect the natural, effortless look. But she was just the kind of girl who thought showmanship was just as important as actual skill. She took time to practice both.
Showing off was always fun.
"I think I would prefer a game of pool." She hummed, then lifted The Spirit of Mr. Saddles as if she were playing pool. She jabbed it forward at his chest quickly enough, apparently not shy about starting fights for no real reason. To her, though, she had a very good reason. He was a knight, and she didn't like them.
One fewer knight in the world, particularly one that seemed to be at a higher level then most of the others, would make that world a better place.

Niflhel watched as she spoke, "Pity," He said as she twirled her javelin, "You'd probably make a pretty good color guard then." He'd seen girls twirl flags before which was probably about the same concept as that Javelin.
Niflhel took a step back as she jabbed the javelin towards him. "Oh, should I hazard a guess who the cue ball is?" He paused, "You know if you wanted to play pool there's a bar down the road. We could go there, I wouldn't mind that sort of fight." He doubted he'd get off that easy but hey it was worth a shot.
"Of course," He stepped to one side, this was probably not a good idea. He was thinking to himself, "I'm always up for a little spar, but you weren't hurting anyone, so how about we just talk?" He smiled, hoping she'd agree to talking. Though by this point he didn't think she would, and she hadn't technically hurt anyone yet... though she had just taken a stab at him.

"Bars smell of meatball heads," Painite said, wrinkling her nose, "don't you prefer the natural lighting of the stars, anyway? It's much nicer out here."
She spoke conversationally enough, but she maintained an edge to her tone. Like everything she said was somehow a threat, even when it didn't sound like anything but an innocuous statement. Maybe she was speaking in code, and he simply didn't have the cipher.
"I wasn't hurting anyone? I guess you're right, but that was never the goal. You, in fact, saved me a whole lot of work." She grinned at him, but the expression turned less friendly and more threatening in a very short span of time.
She didn't think she had anything substantial to say to him. Banter was always welcomed, in her book, but conversation? That had no place in a battle like this one. Whether he knew he was in a battle or not.
Now she lunged at him, grabbing the staff with both hands on its grip, stabbing it forward at the young knife, hoping to drive him toward the edge of the roof.

Niflhel lofted a brow impressed the other would know that, Giving a chuckle, "Ah yes, well... I don't really have a pool table with me. Shame isn't it?"
He frowned, ahhh the fact he'd saved her a lot of trouble, was... troubling. Specially when the look on her fact turned to less than friendly. "Oh comeon..." He sighed as he backed up towards the edge aiming to try to miss the staff only to get grazed in the arm. "Hey!"
He grabbed out his chain and glanced back for a second to see how close he was to the edge. They could take it to street if they had to. He let the chain fly towards Painite. "That's not quite nice." He said with a frown hoping to catch one of her arms. If that was a two handed weapon it'd at least give him a slight advantage.

Painite was a tricky fighter. She did not like to be predictable, and that was why she often relied on traps and ploys, surprises and other things for her advantage in battles. More than that, though, she trained herself to be able to use her javelin in different ways, depending on the situation.
Usually she used two hands with it, but if she had to, she could fight with one.
At the moment, though, she wasn't keen on letting him take out one arm from the fight. She swung her javelin sideways in an effort to catch the chain as it came at her, wanting it to wrap around the staff and get caught. She even moved to put her hand over it, get a good grip of it and the javelin if the chain did manage to stick.
"Well, no one ever said I was nice," she laughed lightly, aiming to tug the javelin and chain as hard as she could to pull him off balance.
Most of her in-the-fight planning ended in her stabbing someone. In her mind, at least. Very infrequently did things go as imagined. The goal here, for example, was to get him to stumble forward, banish her javelin so she could summon it and jab it right into the knight's chest.

Niflhel hadn't been expecting this fight to be that difficult, well at least not until he'd been caught up in it. He frowned as her javelin caught his chain. "Pulling my chain?" He asked with a tut, "I was so hoping you were at least halfway friendly and interested in a cup of tea or hot chocolate."
She did manage to jerk him forward, he actually ended up on his knees; however the squire was trying to think of the out come, this wasn't fair ground. He took a chance to glance back at where the edge of the roof was, if he could just get over that edge and make her follow him to the pavement below... His brown eyes turned back towards the negaverse officer. His hand was still on his chain which for now was still holding onto the Captain's weapon. Well two could play at that game, he tried to jerk her forward; either unaware or forgetful that she could banish and re-summon her weapon.

Painite grinned at him as he tried to pull her weapon from him.
"Ah ah ah," she chastised with a click of her tongue. She banished her weapon when she felt the tug hit its strength, wanting him to spill backwards. Maybe kick him harder and throw him over the edge of the roof. She didn't know he was aiming to get there as well.
She just wanted to hurt him.
She didn't like knights. Any of them, of any level or strength or planet, or whatever. She disliked them all. So having fun with them, beating the tar out of them, was her idea of a good night.
Resummoning her weapon, she lunged at him and stabbed in his direction, driving him backwards just as he wanted her to, toward the edge of the roof. She had the upper hand, if someone asked her, so she had no reason to play it safe.

Niflhel's eyes seemed to grin as Painite took the bait and started driving him towards the edge. "Really, you sure you're not interested in a cup of coffee?"
The second he was at the edge he didn't hesitate to go over, "Ack!" Of course it was a little less than perfect as he landed twisting his left ankle. The squire of Saturn frowned before getting up and jumping back trying to land softly on his hurt leg.
"Come on nega, you wanna fight?" He put up his fists. "Lets duke it out like real heroes do." He was up for the challenge now even if he was hurt.

Painite saw him drop off the roof and followed after him. Not that she had much choice, her momentum wasn't going to let her do much else at this point. Still, she had the option of teleporting if she felt she was truly in danger. It would drain her, though, and she wasn't willing to do that just yet.
She dropped to the floor.
She landed heavily, and the strain shot right through her legs and to her knees, but she didn't feel like she had damaged anything. She straightened, feeling wobbly, and grinned at the Squire teasingly.
"Do you think you can handle me? I thought we were already fighting. You're a bit slow, boy," she said, shaking her head and looking as if she were disappointed and just a little bit pitying of him.
Then she charged again, Javelin in hand and sticking forward. She wasn't going to fist fight him, after all. Where would the fun in that be? Or the sense? She had weapons for a reason.
And she was going to use it.

Niflhel laughed, "Fighting with that stick is what you call a fight?" He shook his head tutting before running towards her, keeping an eye on that stick. "But if that's how you want to do it, and not fight fair, that's your business!"
He was aiming to punch her, and hoping at the same time he could dodge that stupid stick of hers. This was either going to be really painful or really dumb on his part. Niflhel was stubborn though, he was going to try to show this nega she picked on the wrong squire.

"Stick? This is a javelin, little boy, but a stick with pointy ends is more than enough of a match for you, I think."
She watched him punch at her, arching an eyebrow. he had guts, she had to give him that. He was barreling straight toward her, and seemed to be confident in himself. Or at least enough to garner a modicum of respect from his enemy. But that wasn't enough to gain him any quarter.
Painite still hated him, for the fact that he was a knight.
She pulled her weapon down and stabbed forward, up, aiming for the unlikely target of his under arm. She didn't care if she stabbed him in the arm or in the armpit: she wanted to hurt him. She wanted to play with him, before something showed up to ruin the fun. Or he ran off.
Her grin would not quit.
