((This RP can just be solo, or if somebody wants to play the pixies or the NPCs Scarlet meets on her journey that's fine by me. Keep in mind though, Scarlet is a psycho crazy b***h and she may try to kill you on her journey.))
Scarlet was wearing a silk dress, it was more purple than the last. It didn't really match her complexion as well as red did, but she didn't care. She had her hair up in a pony tail. Her face looked as bitchy and plastic as ever. She had make-up on, which was actually the blood from some of her former victims. She entered the forest of Pollensalta, home of the Pixies.
The evil porn star looking b***h walked into the village. There were pixies, pixies eveywhere. She hated pixies. She grabbed a little pixie by their wings. "Tell me everything you know about the Lifestream, or you will die."
The pixie refused to speak. Scarlet just shrugged and tore off its wings. It fell to the ground like a leaf off a tree. Scarlet squashed the pixie like a bug. "See? It's just not fair...if there was any amount of goodness in the world you could just ressurect yourself. But there isn't. Everything can be destroyed with enough power. Doesn't that make you sad? I just want to make things right again."
Scarlet stepped closer into the forest with Charles right behind her. She had his neck tied to a leash and was carrying him around like a dog. "Life is so meaningless. How will people ever react when there find out there really isn't a heaven, or a hell? That we're all just a fleeting fart in the grand scheme of things. Who is in charge of this? WHY- WHY ARE WE HERE?" Scarlet screamed like a mad woman, pulling out her hair in frustration.
"I'm tired of balance..tired of rules. I'm tired of having to stop casting my spells because my power is draining. Power...power. All power comes from the same source. The Lifestream. If I can wield that ultimate power, well- I can make the universe however I want. I'd actually be wanted in the world. Hell, I'd even be queen." She fondled her breats and sighed, leaning on a tree.
"Now then..." She smiled a bright smile and looked at another pixie. "About that Lifestream..."

A dark pixie emerged out of the shadows. His eyes are slanted, portraying the wise old Chinese man stereotype. He's carring a leaf-bladed spear. He's an Elder, but a very evil one.
"You are not ready to manipulate the Lifestream" the Pixie said matter-of-factly.
"Oh yeah you little flying freak?" Scarlet tried to snatch the Pixie, but he flew out of the way and slashed her thumb with his spear.
"When you are ready, you will just know. You will have nothing to prove" the Elder stated. "And...you musn't worry about the Lifestream yet. You still need three more crystals."
Scarlet nodded, sucking the blood off her thumb. "Yeah, I still don't know how to use it. That's one of the reasons why I wanted to see you." Scarlet took out the red crystal and showed it to the Elder. "I noticed that before the crystal formed itself into an entire cave, but I don't know how I made it do that.
The Elder smiled. "Ah yes, the Crystal of Shape. Everything in the universe has a size and shape." The Dark Elder pointed to an ant. "Ever wondered why ants are so teeny-tiny? Why is nature so cruel to them? What do they deserve for being created like that? Don't give me that 'Balance' spiel! With that crystal, you can change the rules. It's the first step to taking over the Lifestream and well..."
"Becoming a God?" Scarlet finished, licking her lips.

The Elder nodded. "Now concentrate. Use your imagine and will the ant to grow in size. Use the crystal as a cataylst. Let the ahem force be with you" the Elder teased, laughing at himself.
Scarlet rolled her eyes. "Not funny..." she said.
Charles started cracking up. "I thought it wa-"
Before he could finish, Scarlet pulled on his chain and punched him on the face. She took a deep breath and focused on the ant. Scarlet tried to make the ant larger, but she just ended up cutting it in half.
The Elder shook his head. "Try again on another one."
Scarlet made a face. "Can't I just wish it back to life?"
The Elder frowned. "You haven't gotten that crystal yet. Now shut up and try again!"
Scarlet focused and this time, the ant grew to be about the size of a mouse. Scarlet smiled. "I did it, I did it!" The ant started growing and growing until it was the size of a horse! "Uh...stop already!" She said frantically. She still couldn't cast any spells yet, which made her wonder why she could even tap into the crystal's power.
Charles wrestled the ant and finally killed him before his size grew out of control.
The Elder smiled, staring out into space all knowledgeable-like. "You will get better, don't worry. So you will practice that power for four hours every day and-'
"FOUR HOURS???" Scarlet screamed.
The Pixie nodded. "Yes, just because you're evil doesn't mean you get to be lazy!! Now you will stay here under my tutelage for a few weeks before venturing off for the second crystal."

Back at Dinner.... Scarlet had made all the Pixies lifesize. She looked at the Elder that been teaching her. He had introduced himself as 'Zachary.' "So Zackie, I've been wondering....how in the hell could I wield the crystal's power? My magic abilities are drained."Zachary smiled. "The crystal's power comes from a pure, never-ending source. It was forged in the Lifestream eons ago! You can change the size of things all the time without becoming tired." Scarlet thought about that while chewing on some rabbit legs. "Couldn't I just use the crystal and increase the power of my own magic?" Before Zachary could respond, Scarlet called Charles a f** and told him to eat with his mouth open like a real man.Zachary shook his head. "I'm afraid not. Magic is too abstract and psychological...that crystal only changes the size and shape of living, material things. But when you have acquired all four of the crystals and gain entrance to the Lifestream, you will become truly unstoppable!" After dinner, Scarlet burped. "So, why did you want me to make all you guys people-size anyway?" She got up from the picnic table and threw her plate down. To hell if SHE was going to do dishes. Zachary looked at Scarlet with evil, hateful eyes. "Why else? To kill people of course. We are going to attack the neighboring village tomorrow morning. I just want to see those human's faces when they have to finally fight somebody their own size haha!""Here here" the pixies said in unison while giving each other a toast with their wine glasses.

There were screams. Lots of screams. Screams of agony and confusion. It was like a lullably to Scarlet, and they soothed her to sleep.
...
She was woken up by a rude awakening. "The attack was successful?" Scarlet asked while rubbing sleepies out of her eyes. She already knew the answer.
"The entire village has been decimated" Zachary said proudly. He was back to his regular pixie size. "And it's all thanks to you. Though I admit, those endevors were for selfish and petty reasons. But when your will sweeps the world, who knows, we probably won't even feel like fighting."
Scarlet smiled at Zachary. "You may not have any feelings at all...instead they will be something you can't currently comprehend, something that I don't even know yet. Something that transcends the very meaning of all you ever knew." Scarlet stood up and continued talking to herself. "I will have the source of pure power...I hope I don't get bored!" She changed into her traditional red dress. "Does this make me look fat?"
"Everybody thinks you're a b***h but I think you're a goddess" Zachary said, shyly moving his feet in the air.
"Aww, you're so sweet. Now shut up and get me some coffee." She looked over at Charles. Stupid minion's snoring kept her up half the night.

Scarlet laughed at Makoy while an evil glint filled in her eyes. She laughed so hard, she started to cry. "Your threats don't scare me, little man. If your little empire was as good as you said, you would already have a crystal. And you don't, I do. Nana nana nana!" Scarlet taunted, dancing around like a five-year-old girl.
"Because unlike your shitty empire, I'm not filled with empty promises of power and glory. I've already proven that I kick a** and there is NO way I'm gonna fail. I'm not like any creature in the universe, Makoy. I already know my purpose." She stroked Makoy on the cheek. "Join me now...or it is you that will pay the price worse than death, and worse than anything you can possibly imagine."
Charles and Zachary got up to fight Makoy, but Scarlet gently pushed them back. Scarlet didn't want to admit it, but Makoy was a worthy opponent and could give her party quite the fight. With a crystal already in her possession though, they would win eventually. She just didn't want to take any chances with a fight. Not here, not now. Besides, she doesn't even have her regular powers back yet.
"So a b***h, a demon and a pixie walk in a bar..." Scarlet said, trying to change the subject.

"Oh wow, he's been on my side this whole time? I-I should have known I guess. I feel kind of bad for bitching him out now."
A pause.
"Oh, who am I kidding. Like I ever feel bad for ANYTHING kya ha ha haha. Human emotions are for the weak. Now, let's see...Crystal of Wisdom eh?"
Zachary nodded. "I'm surprised the lad knew about it, not many people are familiar with the Crystal of Wisdom. In fact, the crystals become increasingly less-known the farther along you go in your journey."
Scarlet nodded. "Well, I better get a move on then. I know you were going to go all Mr. Miyagi on me or a couple weeks, but there's no time to just stay here and practice. If Makoy is right, then I need to get that second crystal as soon as possible. They might not be accepting me to get another crystal this soon so that's why I have to act NOW."
Zachary smiled and slipped the whereabouts of the next crystal in Scarlet's cleavage. "Well, you can leave now if you want- like I could stop you... but mistress, you already are acting now! Scarlet gave Zachary a puzzled look. "Come, my child...come look into this crystal ball." Zachary flew over to a small table and pointed at said ball.
Scarlet leaned over and saw Arc about to choke Kisa. Scarlet smiled, she instantly understood. "So my magic is so strong it can turn people into ....me? Marvelous!"
"I wouldn't rely on changing people" Zachary said. "Until you get the Crystal of Soul" of course! "The only reason why your magic worked on Arc is because as a potential mage, he's very susceptible to any magic..
"Yeah, whatever" Scarlet said, dragging Charles out of the tree house and into the outside world. She took a huge breath, allowing the clean air to fill her lungs. It felt satisfying, but not satisfying enough. Scarlet always wanted more.

"Now let's see..." She unfolded the piece of paper Zachary gave her. "The crystal of Wisdom is in the Wizard's guild. The place I grew up in..."
Home. Well, the only home Scarlet really knew. She remembered a faint time when she wasn't crazy, when she was actually happy. She tried to shake it off her mind, as thoughts like that would only slow her down. She looked at Charles, who looked like he was just learning how to count.
She looked down at her hands, they were starting to flicker. Yes, her magic was slowly coming back! She also felt something, she could now telepathically tap into her other self, the Scarlet that was in Arc.
~I think they're on to us...they're acting a bit weird. Well, quiet. Strangely quiet.~
~You fool..you mustn't let them know. If worse comes to worse, learn how to transfer your essence to somebody else but they won't kill you as long as you're possessing Arc. If you die, Arc dies with you and I doubt that f*****t Sura would make THAT sacrifice. Use that to your advantage.~
~Yes, now here's what I want YOU to do, so stop acting like I'm your minion. We're the same person, you stupid b***h. Now, don't go to the Crystal of Wisdom because we'll be taking care of that. Instead, find out about the third crystal. Two birds with one stone and all that junk.~
Scarlet pondered about that. ~Very well then, then we can all meet up and I'll only need one more crystal. Of course, you know what this means...we might try to kill each other when we meet. Despite my tremendous ego, I don't necessarily trust myself more than I trust anybody else.~

Back at Pollensalta... "The Crystal of Soul is trapped deep beneath the earth....in an old abandoned sunken ship on the other side of the world, where there's no civilization for miles and miles and miles. It's guarded by elite ghosts that are many levels higher than you. They are so powerful, in fact, that the cosmic balance would destroy them if they swim up to the surface. You musn't be spotted by one, as one hit could destroy you instantly.""Sounds like a challenge" Scarlet smiled, looking at Zachary. "And whatever, I'll be okay. If they have to kill somebody, they'll just kill Charles here instead. Haha sorry you goofball, but I gotta look out for number one." She thought of something. "Soo....if it's so far away, then how should I get there? I got some of my magic back, but I wont be able to teleport again for quite awhile."Zachary smiled. "I have just the machine for the occasion." He motioned Scarlet and Charles to follow him down a trap door in his house. They climbed down a long ladder, until they saw a shiny vehicle that resembled a motorcyle. There was a strange humming in the distance.
"Evil is everywhere, and this is how it gets around" Zachary said happily. "This is a state of the art bike, fueled with an element known as 'Dark Matter', something that only our side knows about. One drop of Dark Matter kills a lifeform instantly...sends it into a deep dark hole where it's vanished into nothingness. However, if you turn it inside out- it becomes a substantial source of pure power, rivaled only to the Crystals themselves." Zachary handed Scarlet an extremely small vial of dark matter. "Use it well, child. Dark Matter is the rarest element in the world, and only a few ounces of it get mined each year. Use that only to fuel this bike, unless you think of something better hahaha." Scarlet grinned evilly and hopped on her new toy. It was painted red and had Scarlet's insigina on it. "Ooh...you shouldn't have. What am I saying? Of course you should have, I'm a queen and deserved to be worshipped constantly." Charles jumped on behind Scarlet and as soon as she revved up the engine, they travelled so fast underground that she was at her destination in mere minutes.

Scarlet felt weak. She suddenly landed on her knees and vomited everywhere. The area they were in was chilly, not cold, but chilly. She could see her own breath. She then realized why she felt sick...she couldn't tap into her other self anymore. "They...they killed her?' Scarlet was puzzled. "You mean...they actually managed to kill Arc to kill me? They made that sacrifice?" She smiled, if that was the case than their morality would be weakened to the point of easy exploitation.
"Charles", she ordered, "I want you to seek them out. I need to know what happened. You need to be my spy for me. Glamour!" she said. She waved her hands and turned Charles into an innocent-looking young centaur with pigtails. She then flicked her hands and teleported Charles into Tharkadaia. She was pleased that she could now teleport again, but she couldn't be bothered with them now. She had a crystal to kidnap.
Scarlet started walking through what appeared to be a swamp. Fog was beginning to form everywhere and it was hard to see. "Envision!" she said, trying to make the path a bit easier to walk through. The swamp was murder on her heels, but Scarlet never took those off.

She was finally here. Scarlet dived in the water, with her dress and heels and everything, and was about to swim deeper but Charles appeared and dragged her back up to surface.
"Yes?..." Charles explained that Arc was a full White Mage now, and an extremely powerful one at that. Scarlet frowned, but she wouldn't let this get to her. "I'm going to make you stronger...much stronger. Seek them out and destroy them." She took out the Crystal of Shape and held it out in front of Charles. He suddenly grew into a massive giant, about as tall and wide as the empire state building. She laughed evilly. "If you can't kill em, then I'll know what they're truly made of and I'll take the necessary precautions."
Charles was teleported back to Tharkadaia, and he could see the Ice Caverns from here. He could smell them all now. He licked his lips and started walking, creating a massive earthquake that killed a few centaurs. He laughed at them dying. Arc wouldn't be able to save those people.

Charles wasn't back yet. That could only mean one thing, he was slain...her most precious minion, murdered by those...those insects.
She swam deeper inthe water and blasted all the guardians of the ghost ship with her magical lightning. So much for stuff that can't be killed, eh. Water monsters will always be weak against electricity, it's like in a rulebook, or something. With a hellish fury, she swam even deeper and eventually ran into a glowing treasure chest. It had some insigna on it, with some words in an ancient language telling her that it could only be open with a special ******** that. She had no time for some stupid fetch quest. She busted the lock with her elbow and receieved the "third" Crystal, which was really only her second.
The Crystal of Soul. She smiled wickedly. She finally found the Crystal of Soul. "Well now isn't this special..."
She swam up to the surface and shook herself off like a dog. She wrung out her blonde hair, letting a stream of water flow down to the ground. It burned a hole in the very earth itself. "I am...volatile." She allowed the two Crystals to float around her as she drew on their pure power. She looked up heavenward, as she lost herself into the magic.
She then teleported. Teleported to a bunch or random places, a couple eating at some bar, out in the snowy wilderness...down in a sewer. She could teleport without any draining any mana....interesting, but it still wasn't enough. She was only halfway there, only halfway at becoming invincible.
Scarlet then teleported one last time, to the body of her fallen Charles. She licked her lips and held out the Crystal of Soul and volia, Charles was ressurected, although he wasn't a huge giant anymore. Oh well, she didn't need to do that again.
.. "I think it's time for another battle." She stared at Charles and together they teleported to the location of Arc, Kisa, and Sura.

Scarlet kicked some rocks and held her head down. They were traveling down the same road for ages now, traveling in cricles. "Ugh...this isn't right AT ALL, Charles. What am I to do? The good guys are the ones supposed to be wrestling with their inner demons in order to achieve victory. I am merely supposed to be a pretty obstacle in their way, my only purpose should be to indirectly teach them more about themselves."
"Huh uh." Charles raised an eyebrow at his queen. Kisa was walking behind them, although she too had been silent and contemplative like her daughter. She just really wanted to be close to her again.
Scarlet threw her bony arms up in frustration. "But here I am, I have to do something I particuarly don't want to do! I have to ******** go back to Magic School, in order to nab the Crystal of Wisdom." She shuddered at all the horrible memories. "I have to face my fears, learn more about ME - and I'm the one that does all the ruthless killing. What's up with THAT."
"Hmm... clever, interesting writing that kinda makes you think? Non-cliched storylines that enga-"
"Shut up you stupid dumbass" Scarlet said, punching the demon in his face. "This is the part where you encourage me to do it, where you play the gay male supportive role to my Julia Roberts-ness!"
Charles looked nervous, he didn't really want Scarlet to bully him any longer. "Uh...yes...you are magnificent. Mere words can't describe your beauty, you transcend everything there is um....is this really helping?" His voice had delved down to a whisper.
"A little" Scarlet sighed, breathing heavily. "I just have to keep my eyes on the prize..." She smiled wickedly, and slowly but surely dragged her two feet into the direction of the Black Mage Village.
