Hey, I thought you all might like this. This will be a thread where you can post riddles and see if anyone can figure them out. There will be one at a time, and once that one is figured out, then someone posts another. We wouldn't want all riddles and no answers. Anyone can put the riddles, it doesn't just have to be me.
"what has roots as nobody sees, is taller than trees, up, up, it goes, and yet never grows?"
what is it?

"what has roots as nobody sees, is taller than trees, up, up, it goes, and yet never grows?" what is it? Music. It has been rooted in humanity's history since it began. Astronauts have listened to music up in space, much higher than any tree. It never grows because music really doesn't change much over the years.

That is a really good answer, but music does change over the years, because if you think about it metal came in and that was new. So, that is not the answer. sorry. sweatdrop

It's roots are the foundations dug deep into the earth to keep it standing up. Most of them are taller than trees. And it's a building, so it doesn't grow.

it cannot be seen, cannot be felt, cannot be heard, cannot be smelt. it lies behind stars, and under hills, and empty holes it fills. it comes first and follows after, ends life, kills laughter.
