One of Raine's most endearing qualities was her willingness to help anyone in need when they asked for it. In fact, she was even willing to help those that needed her help, but were too afraid, or embarrassed to ask for it. So, when one of her classmates by the name of Felix appeared to be struggling, she was the first one to offer him tutoring. Of course, she was even more shocked when he accepted his offer, instructing him to meet her in the Library at 8:00 sharp. There was a bit of a bounce in her step as she walked away from the classroom, always feeling a bit better about herself when she was helping someone in need, whether it was deserved or not. He'd benefit from her tutoring -- she had Straight A's for goodness sake. And at the very least, she had to be easier on the eyes than one-on-one tutoring with Dr. McCoy.

A few hours later, Raine walked into the Library, tossing her hair over her shoulder, and glancing down at her phone in her hand to see what time it was. As always, she looked professional - a black pencil skirt and patching blazer, hiding a simple white tank top underneath. Her heels were low, making a clack against the floor instead of a full click. She knew she was early -- the question was whether he would be late or not. If he didn't show up at all, she'd track him down and drag him here herself. The librarian on duty gave her a smile and a wave, which Raine reciprocated. After all these years, she'd gotten to know all the Librarians at the Academy. True, most thought she was crazy for putting in so much time getting to know these ladies, but it always worked out in her favor. After all, she was allowed a tremendous amount of leeway by the Librarians, both in renting books, but using the Library space in ways others would definitely be kicked out for. To each their own.

Sitting down at a table, she set her satchel bag down next to her chair, flipping on the table light, she pulled several books from her bag, setting them down on the corner of the table with a soft "thud." She quickly placed her hand on top of the books to prevent them from sliding off onto the floor and making more noise than even she would be able to get away with in the library, again glancing at the clock up on the wall, noting the time. There would be no excuse for tardiness -- she understood that his power had something to do with super speed, though that was about as far as her knowledge went. She made a mental note to ask him when he did show up -- the seconds were ticking down.

Felix "Dart" Anderson
The Omegas: Library, Oh joy, studying...

User Image
Felix had been sitting in class minding his own business and barely paying attention when he received his latest test back. Picking up the test and staring at the less than desirable grade on the paper Felix let out a sigh. This would mean he was borderline failing and class. The furry man that taught the class gave him a look as Felix sighed that said he expected better before he continued passing out everyone else's results. Felix knew what this would mean. A one on one session with the doctor that would whip him back into shape. Had he paid just a little more attention he could have avoided this whole situation. It wasn't that he didn't understand what he did learn, but when you weren't listening to what was being taught, it sort of made it hard to provide the answers on a test. Personally Felix didn't seen an ounce of purpose to this whole thing. It wasn't like he was going to go out and get a normal job. He wasn't a nine-to-five kind of guy. Not to mention the first time someone knew he was mutant at a normal job, all hell would broke loose. No it was better to just survive in whatever way he had to.

Either way when the bell rang and he was collecting his things he was approached by one of the straight A students in the classroom. Looking up at the brunette with a slightly curious expression he listened to what she had to say. Surprise registered on his face for a few fragments of a second as she offered to tutor him. Wow that was a big tough one. Have one on one sessions with Dr. McCoy and have to stare across at his ugly mug the entire time (not that he would ever say that to Dr. McCoy, but the truth was the truth). Or instead have one on one sessions with this girl and be allowed to stare at her pretty face the entire time. Tough decision. Why she seemed to be slightly shocked when he accepted her offer was beyond him. Did she honestly expect him to say no? Or was this one of those things where she offered only to make herself look good thinking he wouldn't accept? Her instructions to meet her in the library at 8:00 sharp was met with an unenthusiastic nod. Yeah like that was going to happen.

A few hours later found him in his room reading a book as he waited for it to become around the time he was expected to show up. Looking up at the clock with only mild interest he was met with the time being 8:05. Letting out a sigh he stood up straight and grabbed his books. Dressed in a black t-shirt with a black leather jacket over it and blue jeans he made his way to the library at a leisurely pace not at all in a hurry. She was probably didn't really expect him to arrive on time right? Then again he was not aware she knew a little about his mutation. Arriving in the library sometime between 8:10 and 8:15 he scanned the room for the brunette. Spotted her and how professionally she was dressed he gave her a curious gaze as he walked towards her. Wait this didn't mean she was one of those overly serious people did it? That would make this entire thing almost unbearable. Granted it would still be better than a session with Dr. McCoy.

Letting his eyes wander the library as he made his way over he had been in the room before to get books. Though unlike Raine he did not make nice with the librarians. Actually he rarely said more than two words to them. Arriving at the table Raine had chosen he took the seat opposite her and let his books hit the table. The noise produced was certainly noticeable but not quite loud enough to warrant annoying the librarian. Well annoying the librarian too much at least. Staring across the table at Raine unblinkingly Felix waited for her to say something. Then feeling a question rise up in his throat he decided to ask it. "You have a meeting afterwards? Certainly you didn't wear that because it was comfortable. Not that I am complaining mind you." Naturally there was a tiny amount of amusement in the question that said he was at least partially joking. Though part of him was asking an honest and genuine question. Then again he wasn't against the skirt. Skirts were nice.

Wait this wasn't her idea of a date was it? That could certainly explain her attire since some people liked to get all dressed up for dates. Granted if this was her idea of a date then it was a little sad. Dates were supposed to be fun and studying was about the furthest from fun you could get. Unless of course you weren't actually doing any studying. Which didn't seem to be the case for this situation. It was a shame really.

As 8 o'clock came and went, a small sigh escaped the blonde, fidgeting with the corner of a book as she continued to wait. Her hazel eyes travelled up to the clock a few more time, a small frown tugging at the corners of her lips the longer she found herself waiting. Eventually, he made his way in, Raine perking up up slightly as he walked towards her, letting his books fall onto the table with a thud. She did not blink as she looked up at him, one eyebrow raising slightly as she simply looked at him sitting across from her. If she wasn't annoyed with tardiness, she might have found herself blushing a bit -- he did look good in a leather jacket. But, as it was, she wasn't going to let herself get distracted by another pretty face. They were here for a reason -- he needed her help in the brain department. Finally, he decided to break the silence between them, asking about her attire. The brunette looked down at herself, then back to him, letting out a little sigh.

"Well, you know, I was in a bikini, but decided to put something on for every 5 minutes you were late." Her expression morphed into a playful grin, the brunette leaning forward slightly on her elbows, head tilting gently to the side. In all honesty, she hadn't had time to change since she had been at her Future Business Leaders of America meeting -- it wasn't required to dress professionally, but Raine looked for any excuse she could to dress up in a business suit. There was something empowering about it that she couldn't quite put into words, but most women would know what she was talking about. After all, there was no way to feel sexy and in charge like a nice pencil skirt suit. Her uniform gave her a similar feeling, but she had a hunch that she wasn't the only one that felt that way. Of course, hers was a tad more revealing than most uniforms of her teammates, but that was a different discussion for a different day. Turning her attention from her own random string of thoughts back to the boy in front of her, she cleared her throat, running her fingers back through her curls to push them from her face.

"But, in all seriousness, I'd appreciate punctuality from someone supposedly faster than a speeding bullet. Some of us don't have time to waste." Her tone was even, expression untelling of her annoyance, but he would be able to tell. But then again, hew as a man -- they weren't the most astute all the time. Rather than harp on anything however, she turned her attention to the notepad in front of her, picking up the pen as she turned her hazel eyes on him, adjusting her seat in her chair so she could write easier.

"Alright, so, I know you're in Biology with me -- what's the rest of your schedule like? I can help with more than just this one class if I know what to look for," she said simply, pen poised on the paper as her gaze remained on him, expectantly. Sure, he probably thought that she was just offering from this once class, but if he approached everything with his apparent lackadaisical attitude, then she had a feeling his other classes were likely going to same way. And, his class schedule might give her some ideas as to what he is interested in, so she could make sure to keep him as interested as possible. This wasn't her first tutoring rodeo…

Felix "Dart" Anderson
The Omegas: Library, Maybe this won't be all bad.

User Image
Felix continued to stare at Raine while waiting for her to say something. However as he voiced his question it also served to break the silence since she obviously had no immediate intention to speak up just yet. What it was however that kept her silent up to that point he didn't know. He might have been inclined to ask her where he to actually care to hear the answer. As it stood he was more interested to hear her response to his question. Watching as Raine looked down at herself then back up to him with a sigh, Felix waited patiently for her reply. She parted her lips and spoke up and Felix shrugged to her offered explanation. "I guess that will teach me won't it." Her playful grin was enough to make him hope that perhaps this wouldn't be as unbearable as previously thought. Maybe she wasn't as uptight as she appeared. She leaned forward slightly on her elbows and tilted her head to the side causing Felix to give her a curious look.

Planting his elbow on the table he rested the side of his face on his left hand and waited for things to get started again. He wasn't going to break the silence this time and was content to simply sit and stare at her for the moment. It was much better than actually having to do work. Already the entire situation was proving to be more enjoyable then it would have been with Dr. McCoy. The blue man would have required him to already start or would have launched into a lecture about how he was disappointed given Felix's obvious potential. He had the misfortune of already having more than one session with the man. Where as she seemed to be content to wait. That was a good sign. Eyes traveled down to the books in front of him and he was about ready to wave a hand in front of her face when she spoke up again. The tone she used as she spoke up was even, but her annoyance was abundantly clear as she mentioned him being on time and being faster than a speeding bullet. She finished her statement by saying some people didn't have time to waste.

Eyebrows raised slightly Felix gave her a small shrug. Part of him was curious exactly how she knew about his mutation, but then again it wasn't all that uncommon to know other's mutations. Though he knew nothing of hers. It would probably have helped for him to have at least attempted to pay attention to what others could do, but currently there was no need. "Sounds like you are all work and no play. For someone that doesn't move, how was it you put it, 'faster than a speeding bullet', you need to learn to slow down and appreciate the finer things in life. Being late for example, have you ever been late for anything?" After his question was voiced he waited for her to answer curiosity present in his tone. She certainly didn't seem like the type that let herself be late for anything. Then deciding to ask the most obvious question Felix continued. "Oh and since you know what I can do I feel it is only fair you share as well. Maybe it will help with the bonding session we are having."

Giving her a minuscule smile Felix watched as she picked up her pen and after adjusting in her seat prepared to write something. It wasn't long after and she was speaking again and asking about the rest of his schedule other than biology. She finished by mentioning she could help him with the others if she knew what to look for. Sighing slightly Felix pondered if he should give her his entire schedule or not. Staring at her in silence for a few moments he finally decided he would give her it all. "Period one is Advanced Power Development with Professor Frost." He refused to call her Headmistress. "Period two is Physical Education II with Wolverine." He refused to call him professor since it just seemed wrong given who it was. "Period four is Tactics and Strategy with Professor Summers." Again he wasn't going to call him Headmaster either. "Period five is Culinary Arts II with Professor Lebeau. A guy has to eat right?" He posed the question after figuring he would save her from commenting on it.

"Period six is Literature II with Professor Grey. And finally we have period seven which is World History II with Professor Xavier." Letting silence follow afterwards Felix waited for her to say something. She had asked and while he wasn't failing most of the classes most of them could benefit from a higher grade. With the exception of a couple of them most of them were just randomly picked out. Of course he wouldn't tell her that or even which ones were picked out. "So where do we go from here then hm? Oh and just because I am not one hundred percent certain your name is Raine correct? I just want to be sure I have the right name with the right face."

His response to her attempts to make him want to be on time elicited a wink from her. After all, it didn't take a genius to know that promises of skimpily clad women were typically a good draw for men to be punctual. He seemed content to wait for her to break the silence this time around, the brunette taking the time to observe his behavior. She didn't know exactly what to make of him just yet -- either this would all turn out to be a waste of both their time, or he would come around. Either way, it wasn't a bad way to spend an hour of her time. At least he didn't seem indignant when she not so subtly requested that he be on time in the future. All things considered, she thought she handled the situation quite well. He was probably wondering how she had any idea what his powers were, and if he asked, her response would have been a simple one: when you were as involved in things as she was, it was your business to know things about people you were interacting with. It wouldn't surprise her at all if he'd asked around about her before coming to their tutoring session, but then again, he hadn't said anything just yet. In time, all things would be revealed, no doubt.

He told her that she needed to stop and smell the roses, as the saying went, then asking her if she had ever been late for anything. The brunette let out a soft laugh, adjusting herself in her seat. A curtain of brown hair spilled into her face as she looked down at the table, pushing her hair back with a sweep of her hand as she turned her hazel eyes on him once more.

"Well, I guess it comes down to what you consider the finer things in life. I work hard, but that's only because between me school schedule and the Alphas, I don't get time to relax. So, I have to make every moment of the day count, otherwise I lose out on things." She shrugged slightly as she gave her answer, not sure that it made her sound like the carefree person he seemed to prefer. Some thought she was too uptight, others thought that she was a perfectly balanced person. At the end of the day, it was all a matter of perspective.

"Thankfully, I'm not here to make you think I'm a perfect human being - I'm totally not. I'm only here to keep McCoy from riding your a** the rest of the year," she said with a grin, her pen poised on a bad of paper as she waited to hear his schedule. The firefly deliberately left her power explanation out of things, almost as if she had not heard him. If he really cared to find out, he could ask around, otherwise, it would likely come out eventually. She scribbled down notes as he went through his list of classes, making notes of which classes she had already taken that she would be able to help him with. He asked her what the next step is, Raine setting her pen and pad of paper down and giving him a soft smile.

"Well, the next step is to just start going through the material. We're on DNA now in Bio, so we'll start there. And yes - my name is Raine. And you're Felix. If I didn't say it before, it's nice to meet you." The brunette extended her hand over the table towards him, waiting for a shake. If they were going to be working together, the least they could do was introduce each other properly. Where she came from, that meant a handshake.

Felix "Dart" Anderson
The Omegas: Library, Having a nice chat.

User Image
Felix took the wink offered from her with a small amount of amusement. She must enjoy doing the whole flirting thing since she obviously was good at it. Were Raine to actually be in a bikini if he showed up on time Felix might have considered it, but he highly doubted she would be. Therefore he would make no attempt to be on time any time soon. Granted he wouldn't deliberately be late, but he certainly wasn't going to rush to get here on time either. Continuing to stare in her direction Felix remained silent. Unlike her he had not asked around about her before the session, oftentimes finding that other's opinion of a certain person was usually off, and wanting to see for himself without having any previous thoughts about her. So far his opinion was mostly positive though she could certainly benefit from being a little laid-back. Being that way was not for everybody it seemed.

As she laughed Felix didn't really see what was funny with his statements. Still he managed a half smile for her benefit. She adjusted herself in her seat again then swept the curtain of hair that fell in front of her face away. Giving her the courtesy of looking her in the eyes as she spoke Felix awaited her answer. After she finished the curiosity in his gaze couldn't be concealed any longer. "What about this little tutoring thing? You obviously have time enough to sit here and try to teach me something so why not use it to relax a little? I am sure it will be more relaxing than teaching somebody. I dare say it would even be more relaxing than sitting here talking to me let alone teaching me." He was more than aware that he wasn't the easiest person in the world to teach. If he was, then he probably wouldn't be sitting across from Raine. So using her time actually to relax would be a better way to spend her time in Felix's opinion.

Then she continued with a smile that elicited a small and short laugh from him. "And here I thought every girl strives to be perfect and hated being told otherwise. It's too bad you aren't perfect I just had a nice night out with a perfect girl not too long ago. I am not sure I could go from perfect to someone with imperfections." His entire statement was oozing with amusement and just a tiny bit of sarcasm. It was his attempt to delay the inevitable by flirting back. Maybe if it was kept up long enough they wouldn't get any real work done. That would be better than actually having to do work. He didn't fail to notice she left him in the dark about her power which made him just a small bit more curious about what it was. Of course he wasn't willing to let it go so easily. She had known his and he would be damned if he would let her leave this library without at least knowing a little about her ability. "Now we can get to the part where you mention your power. I didn't fail to notice you failed to mention it before. It was a nice try though. Unfortunately I am not willing to let it go so easily."

Another half smile was on his face as he spoke and he awaited an answer. She took the time to scribble down some notes as he spoke of his classes and he wondered what she was writing. Probably different ways she could help him with them since she seemed set on helping him in other courses. Watching as she set her pen and paper down with a soft smile she launched into a short explanation of what was next then formally introducing herself. She extended her hand over the table to shake hands with him and Felix looked at it for a second. After a moment or two passed, and it might look like he wasn't going to he reached up with only slightly above-average speed and took hold of her hand and shook it firmly. After all, he had been told everybody liked a firm handshake for some reason. "It's a pleasure Raine." Waiting until the appropriate amount of time had passed before going into the awkward handshake phase he let go and allowed his hand to fall back to his side. "Must we actually learn things now? I would prefer if we continued in the same manner as we have so far." The question was posed with a small amount of amusement to show that he was at least partially joking. Only partially though.

He called her out on having time to tutor, Raine once more laughing softly and tucking her hair behind her ears. It was a true statement -- she didn't really have an excuse other than the fact that she liked to be busy. It was one of her "things". He was clearly curious about her and her scheduling habits, though she wasn't quite sure of the reason yet. Maybe he just wanted to know more about her since they were going to be spending time together? Or maybe he was just one of those people that liked to try and figure out everything about a person at the very beginning? If it were the latter, he would quickly find that she could be rather unpredictable.

"Well, if I weren't using this time to tutor you, I'd probably have the spot filled with something else. But rather than locking myself away with a good book, or working on coordinating some of the events that we have going on at school, I decided I'd rather spend time with another person who seemed like he could take advantage of my superior knowledge." Every word was dripping with amusement, clearly being sarcastic when it came to her claims that she had superior knowledge to him. It was no secret that she was at the top of the class, and excelling in every subject she took. However, she would never be so bold as to assert that she were superior to anyone else. Especially someone she just met like himself. She would be the first to admit that she wasn't perfect, which she did, something that seemed to be difficult for him to fathom. A smile graced her lips when he said he might have a hard time going from someone that was perfect to someone with imperfections, the brunette leaning back in her chair slightly, giving a slightly over-exaggerated shrug.

"Well, that kind of blows. Sounds Like I better get to work on myself then. Thank god this isn't a date, or I'd be sweating right now," she said with a chuckle, recognizing the fact that he had been being sarcastic, and responding with her own. Of course, he didn't let her power go as easy as she was expecting him to, raising her eyebrows a bit when he asked her about it, specifically saying that he was not going to let it go as easily as she was clearly expecting him to. That all being said, however, they continued on, Raine giving him a nod when he expressed his pleasure at making her acquaintance. It was clear that she was enjoying their conversation, releasing a sigh when he asked if they were really going to try and learn something at this point. Her hazel eyes turned to the side, as if she were thinking really hard about something. Glancing over at the clock, she turned her sights back on him, a soft grin tugging on the corners of her lips.

"Wellllll…I guess we could take the rest of the night off from hitting the books. But, only if you promise not to fail McCoy's quiz on Friday. If you do, we'll run through flash cards until your eyes bleed. Deal?" Her hand extended across the table, gaze soft as she waited to see if he would take her deal or not.

Felix "Dart" Anderson
The Omegas: Library, Good I don't actually have to do anything yet.

Felix observed Raine when she laughed as he called her out on her schedule. She was quickly making him think that she just didn't like to have nothing to do. Clearly she could do with some relaxing. Likely that wouldn't happen any time soon, however, as she struck him as the type that enjoyed being ran to death doing things. Most of the time slowing down for those types of people were nigh impossible. It was like they were allergic to having nothing to do. Thankfully she didn't have super speed or she would have a hard time sitting still. She went into what she would be doing if she weren't sitting here across from him right now and Felix gave her a quizzical look. She would rather be talking with a person face-to-face than reading a book? Of course he didn't debate her superior knowledge comment because while she was obviously joking there was some truth to the statement. He certainly wasn't going to try to claim she wasn't smarter when she got better grades than he himself did.

"You see locking yourself away and reading a book is relaxing. So why you didn't do that instead leaves me confounded. Surely you don't actually want to be here?" Were she to want to be here teaching someone he would likely tell her to get her head checked. In a joking manner of course. Well mostly anyway. Then, she leaned back in her chair and gave an exaggerated shrug as she went into an equally sarcastic statement about if they were on a date. Not wanting to be outdone for the moment he gave a look of agreement. "That's good because were we on a date it would be confusing for me. I wouldn't know whether to tell your pretty and perfect or pretty and positively bursting at the seams with imperfections. Needless to say the night probably wouldn't end well." She raised an eyebrow at him as he spoke again of her ability, but yet again she remained silent on the matter.

He refused to get what she could do from somebody else's mouth however, and therefore he decided to push her again for information. "Your refusal to tell me what you can do is frustrating. I am irked right now Raine. Very irked. I would hate to have to resort to stalking just to find out your ability. I think my own ability would make me a very good stalker should I so choose. I also refuse to ask anybody else." Eyes full of determination Felix waited for her to speak up or yet again not say anything. She released a sigh as he questioned her about actually working at this point she looked to the clock. Then, after a moment she returned her gaze on him with a soft grin present on her face. Her words were welcome until she mentioned him not failing the quiz on Friday. Well that was a buzz kill. "But that would mean actually paying attention in class." The words came out more of a whine like a child not getting it's way though there was also a little bit of sarcasm in his voice.

Putting on a thoughtful look he held his hands in front of him palms up as if weighing two equally painful options. "Let's see work now and not pay attention in class or slack off now and pay attention in class later. Such a difficult choice. Isn't there an option c where I slack off now and still don't have to pay attention later?" Sighing after a few moments he lowered his hands to the table again. "Fine I'll take instant gratification and delay the painful moment of working. Then again running through flashcards until my eyes bleed doesn't sound too bad. Hm..." Glancing at her yet again extended hand Felix reached out and shook it. "You know if you want to touch me just say so. You don't have to keep offering to shake." Giving her a small smile to go along with his statement positively bursting with sarcasm he lowered his hand. "So are we done here or did you have something else in mind?"

"Why wouldn't I want to be here? I get the chance to help someone out, he isn't bad-looking, and at the same time pat myself on the back for doing a good deed. To each their own," she said with a chuckle, running her fingers back through her hair as he explained how awkward this whole thing would be if it really were a date. A complete laugh escaped her as he mentioned that either way, the night would not end well, the Firefly leaning forward and resting one hand on her cheek.

"Well, if those are the only options, you're right. It wouldn't end well at all. But surely, you could do better than that?"

The topic of conversation then changed to his frustration that she wouldn't tell him what she could do. It was amusing to her that he would get so frustrated about something seemingly so small, and the forthwith attitude in which he told her how frustrated he was with her. "Irked" was the word of choice. Her expression slowly morphed back to one of amusement as he said he wouldn't want to have to stalk her in order to find out her abilities.

"If I didn't know any better, I would think that was some sort of threat, Felix," she said with a grin, sitting back in her chair once more. Her hand rested gently against her cheek, smiling when he seemed to be wrestling with the alternatives of slacking off now or later. His sigh only made her smile widen slightly, tossing her curls over her shoulders as he shook her hand. An incredulous look crept onto her features as he mentioned that all she had to do to touch him was ask, her cheeks flushing a soft shade of pink. She laughed -- what else was she supposed to do? She'd never admit that he had caught her off guard, and she hadn't realized what it might have looked like, even if it was completely off the wall. Of course, she caught the sarcasm in his voice -- that didn't make it any less embarrassing for her.

Thankfully, before she had to come up with anything witty in retort, he asked if they were done here, or if she had anything else in mind. She hadn't really thought about it, especially considering that this was not something she normally did. But, if they were going to be spending time together, it couldn't hurt to get to know each other in a more social setting, right?

"Well, unless you have somewhere else to be, I could go for something to eat? We could go to the Cafeteria, or if you wanted something that's more off campus, I'd be game." She offered a slight shrug as she started to pack the books she'd brought with her back into her bag, hoping that he would take her up on one of the offers. Whatever he thought of her, he seemed like an entertaining person to be around. At the very least, it would be a dinner and a show.

Felix "Dart" Anderson
The Omegas: Library, Going on a date I guess.

Felix listened to Raine speak of the reasons she would want to be here. She finished off with a chuckle and Felix gave a small slightly forced one. "Right... See that is where we will have to disagree. I don't like people enough to want to put myself through the punishment of trying to teach them. I get along with them better that way." A laugh escaped her as he mentioned the night not ending well if it was a date then she leaned forward and spoke. He gave a slight laugh as she spoke raising an eyebrow at the end. "I could but you would have to make it worth my while to do so. I don't pull out the fancy compliments for just anyone after all." He smiled and afterwards stared at her with a small amount of amusement present on his features. He was in a flirty mood today and therefore her flirting back was a good thing. Normally he wasn't nearly as flirty but it wasn't everyday he was able to stare across a table at a beautiful woman.

Raine adopted a look of amusement at his frustration and he narrowed his eyes a little. While he wasn't truly furious or anything of the sort he did find it a little irksome she wouldn't tell him. She mentioned his words being a threat and he raised an eyebrow ever so slightly. "Now you're getting the idea Raine." While he was mostly joking about stalking her Felix did a pretty convincing job of appearing completely serious. He wouldn't resort to stalking her but he would pay closer attention to her whenever they saw each other in the hall. She seemed amused as he weighed the pros and cons of putting off studying. She blushed and Felix zeroed in on her cheeks staring at them with intensity as she laughed. Now he would have to make it his mission to see how many times he could cause her to blush before the night ended. It would be her fault. He had little control over the urge. It was just one more way that he could be sure to enjoy the night.

Raine put forth the idea of going and getting something to eat either from the cafeteria or somewhere off campus and Felix smirked. "Are you asking me on a date? Odd I usually do the asking. I am not sure how I feel about the role reversal. Hm I suppose grabbing some food with you would not be terrible. I accept your date off campus as we wouldn't want people to start talking about the smart chick dating the guy she is tutoring right?" His tone would show her that he was joking about the date portion. He stared at her for a few moments as if to see if he had managed another blush out of her before standing up and collecting his books. "Well we should probably deposit our things in our rooms so shall we meet in the garage? Oh and I'll be nice and let you choose our destination. If you are planning on a fancy place let me know beforehand." Felix decided to wait and here confirmation from Raine on meeting in the garage. Granted he could probably run to his room and be back before she was completely out of the library.

His explanation that he doesn't like people enough to try and teach them made her laugh slightly, enjoying the differences between them. It was going to make getting to know each other interesting at the very least, since so far it seemed like they were on opposite sides of the fence with nearly everything. Their conversation instead turned towards dating, her smile only continuing at his quick retort to her. One eyebrow raised as he mentioned "fancy" compliments, though she let it go. Since they weren't dating (and as far as she could tell, there was no indication that a date would follow this tutoring session), she had to draw the flirting line somewhere. Things had been going well so far, and the last thing she wanted to do was say something in the name of sarcasm that would ruin it. Apparently, he chose to let the line of that conversation go no further, the brunette shifting in her seat slightly as his gaze lingered on her without a word. He looked amused - she was having a bit of a hard time reading his expression, but she had a feeling some of it was lingering frustration at her refusal to give him any indication as to what her powers allowed her to do.

This frustration was voiced when he said he might just have to stalk her in order to find out what it was, his straight face while neither confirming or denying directly that it was a threat making her smile. She didn't think he was the type that would put her in any real danger, but her time on the Alphas (while relatively short compared to most) had taught her to defend herself against all types of enemies. If he wanted to really see her powers in action, all he had to do was surprise her while walking back to her dorm from a late night at the Library - that'd startle her enough to give him a really good show. But as their conversation continued, he seemed to genuinely enjoy her embarrassment.

That could be bad - now he might just poke fun at her for the sheer joy of seeing her blush all different shades of pink and red, just for the thrill of doing so. She'd have to keep an eye on this one…

"Well, if it is a date, does that mean I can get you to pay and laugh at all my jokes, even though they aren't funny? Because Lord knows, I can handle the pressure if it means a free meal and pleasant enough company. But, you're right. Off campus is better - wouldn't want to hurt your reputation." She stuck her tongue out at him in jest as they stood from the table, trying really hard to suppress the heat in her face. Felix suggested that they do drop their things off in their rooms before heading out, mentioning that they should meet in the garage. Of course, he would leave it to her to choose their destination, a laugh escaping her as he mentioned to let him know ahead of time if it was somewhere fancy. By that time, they'd started making their way out of the Library, the brunette swinging her shoulder bag around lightly to knock against him.

"What kind of girl do you think I am, some sort of snobbish rich girl that only goes to fancy-schmancy restaurants? I'm not Cissa, you know." She was clearly kidding with him, making her way towards the stairs where she would break off to the Girl's rooms. Of course, now she had to figure out exactly what he might consider "fancy" as opposed to what her definition of fancy was.

"Don't worry, I'll know where we're going by the time we meet up," she said simply, giving him a smile as she started towards her individual room. As soon as she was out of earshot and sight, her steps quickened, wanting to change before they left but still not wanting to leave him waiting for her for awhile. It was exactly because they weren't going anywhere fancy that she wanted to change into something a bit more appropriate - maybe he would have less cause to poke fun at her then. She was quick, once she got to her room, to deposit her bag and change into a pair of jeans and a black tank top, black jewel embellishments adorning the deep-V collar. Giving herself a last glance over in the mirror, she headed down towards the garage, hopefully arriving at the same time, or a little before he did.

Felix "Dart" Anderson
The Omegas: Garage, Wow how did I arrive first?

Raine laughed as he mentioned not liking people enough to teach him. Felix found the action slightly surprising. Shouldn't that not get a laugh? It was further proof that she wasn't completely uptight which was a good thing. Still maybe she thought him joking as he most certainly wasn't. They seemed to be opposites to say the least but perhaps that was what made things a little more interesting. She didn't reply to his comment about fancy compliments and he allowed that portion of the conversation to simply move into oblivion. The tutoring session was much more enjoyable than it would have been with Dr. McCoy. Especially considering they had yet to actually do any work of any kind. It was refreshing and hopefully a glimpse of things to come. Deep down however he knew that next time work would actually need to be done. Best to enjoy things while he could. She again smiled as he mentioned stalking her which was a little odd. Perhaps she had seen through the ruse and realized that he wasn't serious.

She took his date comment and ran with it trying to get him to pay for the meal as well as laugh at her bad jokes. It was distressing to say the least. As she finished and mentioned his reputation Felix stroked his chin as if lost in exactly what he wanted to do. "See but if I pay and laugh at your bad jokes it might set a standard that most guys can't uphold. It wouldn't do to spoil you after all. I would hate to ruin you for all the guys that are likely lining up to take you out as it is." She stuck her tongue out at him and Felix gave a small smile at the slight childish nature that it seemed to convey. They headed towards the door and she swung her bag around to lightly knock against him. She asked him what kind of woman he thought she was and then went on to mention the Omega leader. Even though he had never met the woman he had of course heard mention of her. The things mentioned did not tend to paint the blond in a favorable light but personally he didn't put much faith in other people's opinions.

"I assure you I have no idea what type of girl you are yet. I am sure this little outing will help shed some light on what type of girl you are however. Is the Omega leader really so bad however?" He figured he would get her quick opinion of the blond just in case for the future. While he was sure her thoughts on the blond would not change his own thoughts on the subject that it was best to get first hand experience he didn't totally dismiss other's opinions. "That is good to hear that we won't be wandering around aimlessly while you decide." Then they broke off and went towards their respective dorms. Entering his he set his books down on his bed and then exited the room without changing. There was no need for him to change really. He was already dressed appropriately for most places. He arrived in the garage and was a little surprised that he had arrived first especially considering he had used a slightly slow pace. She was probably changing into something more appropriate.

She arrived not real long after he did. He couldn't help but tease her considering he was the one waiting on her now and therefore as she arrived he gave a clearly heard tisk. "Were you here just a little earlier you might have caught me shirtless. I decided to put on an article of clothing for every second you made me wait." Clearly he was teasing her in the same way she had decided to do so to him earlier. "So where is our destination?" They would probably have to drive right? He disliked cars. Oh well.

"Oh my gosh, you're right. We don't want to do any spoiling. Lord knows the standard you set tonight could impact my view of men for the rest of the life," she said with an amused tone, glancing over at him as they made their way through the hallways. She couldn't tell how he was receiving her humor, or her actions, something that both intrigued and slightly irritated her. Raine was not the kind of girl to let a situation control her, and the fact that she couldn't read him was a little unnerving.

His question about Cissa made her laugh slightly, not sure how he wouldn't know the stories of the Omega leader. The sideways glance she cast him would hopefully speak volumes - a look that told him words couldn't really describe.

"I guess it depends on your point of view. If short, cruel and stunningly beautiful is your type, then you'll be in heaven. And as long as you're not an Alpha, she's usually fine. But as soon as you put on the black and blue, you'd think it was open season," she said simply, the bitterness in her voice clearly indicating what she thought of the Omega leader. For whatever reason, the blonde had taken it upon herself to make Raine's life miserable, and there wasn't a damn thing she could do about it just yet. But the brunette wasn't one to sit idly by while she persecuted the Alphas for their compassion and general lack of a perpetual stick up their asses.

Drawing her thoughts from the Omega leader, something that seemed to just put a scowl on her normally serene features, they parted ways with a grin on her lips at their banter. She changed clothes as quickly as she could before walking quickly down towards the garage. Unfortunately, he was already there, teasing her with the same line about being late she started their interaction with.

"Ha ha," she said simply, though she was clearly amused by his antics. As much as she hated to admit it, he might look alright with a few less articles of clothing on, but those thoughts were for her, and her alone. He asked where they were going, a mischievous grin forming on her features as she pulled a set of keys from her purse, swinging them around one finger.

"Why don't you get in that jeep, and I'll show ya," she said with a playful wink, moving towards the driver's side. This wasn't a date, right? Then he wouldn't mind if she drove…

"Unless, you had something else in mind," she called over to him, opening the driver's side door and leaning against the edge. Her gaze was inviting - either way, she seemed to win. She could either get to drive (something that she didn't get to do too much of at the Academy), or possibly feel what it's like to run faster than she'd ever gone before. Or, maybe he'd be the one to want to drive - would that make this more of a date? Surely he wasn't thinking this through as thoroughly as she found herself doing.
