The Song of Entertainment

So this just happened a few days ago . . .My half-sister loves video games, and she gets perfect A's, and plans to major in political science when she gets to college. Well that's not happening anymore, because after her parents banned her from all social networking/electronic use, she : is now for most of the time expressionless, has absolutely not creativity. She also has no telephone use either, when her parents pick her up; they will glare at her if she tries to talk or have a "dumb" conversation as they put it, around her friends.

That's absolutely retarded. If she gets A's, and is generally content and happy, then the parents should stop this whole mess (BTW if her grades go in the toilet she can easily use past report cards to blame the parents for the drop).
A similar thing happened with a friend of mine. she was generally happy, and as far as I could tell did alright in school. Then all of the sudden her parents start taking away everything of hers and making her miserable while they treat her sister like a saint and give her everything.
this sort of behavior is unacceptable and should be considered at least a minor offense as child abuse (from disconnecting them from society and causing mental distress).
