With the tour of the first floor finished, DJ Mary led the group of visitors up to the second floor, where the recording studios were. "Now I know a lot of you are trainers, so I'm sure you'll be interested to see the studio from which the pokéflute show is aired, and in which Lavender Town's famous Mister Fuji actually played the legendary flute--a session we recorded and play back during each show." Mary smiled to the guard at the top of the stairs and led the tour group into Studio 1. "This is a state-of-the-art recording studio where all the best Pokémon bands come when we want to put them live on the air. Everyone come inside, and you'll see - or should I say, hear - that it's one of the quietest places in Kanto, thanks to the best soundproofing technology in the world. Then we'll listen to the pokéflute music before the tour moves on to Studio Two, where Professor Oak's show is sometimes recorded."

Amie followed the tour guide up the stair and to the second floor. It was pretty cool to have one of the DJs giving the tour too and it made it feel more like someone was showing a house than just doing it because she had too. Amie listened to guide thinking about how much has been broadcasted here. She didn't listen to the radio that much, though she was glad to be able to get a tour here, so she didn't have much of an idea of what was normally playing. She'd rather hear the pokeflute, or any band or talk show, being played in person, but hearing it as a recording would be ok too.

Mezame was previously completely unaware about Pokémon radio. She was merely walking through town when she was intercepted by someone handing out free leaflets. In the leaflet there was a coupon for a free radio tower tour. Mezame wasn't doing anything that day so she figured why not go and check it out. Learning about all the radio stations was fun, Mezame would have to tune in more often. Now they were heading into the room where their live broadcasts were preformed, Mezame thought it would be interesting to hear a real pokéflute, she heard it could wake sleeping pokémon.

Raide followed the tour guide obediently, listening intently, but paying just as much attention to her surroundings. She found it extremely interesting and a little exciting that many famous people had passed through the halls she was walking through at that very moment. Every afternoon she used to tune into Professor Oak’s program, and at most other times the radio’s music was playing in the background. She was interested in the inner workings of something so familiar to her, but knew that she’d never have much to do with the program itself. She didn’t have good enough hearing for it. Glancing around, Raide noticed that the other people on the tour ranged from people as interested as she was, to people who weren’t really paying attention. She shrugged and refocused in on the information. It’d be a waste of time if she didn’t learn everything she could from the experience.

Now that everything was set up, Arc no longer needed his disguise. He peeled off his silicone mask - he'd gone with the bulbousy nose for a change - and threw it into his bag. He threw his fake ID card in there too. Naturally it had fooled the security system and the security guard without any problems, so he didn't need it any more. Next thing he did need was his laptop, to take control of the broadcast system and upload his own audio file. Remi was an amateur compared to him. She might have got this far, but she wouldn't have gone any further. It was only right she had to play second fiddle for this mission--whether she liked it or not. She probably didn't even know what acoustic anesthetic was. Arc had harnessed it, converted it, amplified it and was about to broadcast it across all Lavender Town, from Rock Tunnel to halfway down route twelve, from the ocean to the outskirts of Saffron. "Number Two, everything is in order. Broadcast in two minutes. Make sure you, the Agent and all the grunts have their earplugs in," Arc said. His radio earpiece - another of his inventions - sent the message to Remi, who was in contact with a number of grunts all over the city. "I'm not stupid," Remi replied, a hint of anger in her voice. "Of course not. I remember now, you did get the omanyte egg as you were supposed to." "Cool it Arc," Remi complained. "You mean Number One," Arc said. He flipped open his laptop and his fingers danced across the keys, booting his personal operating system, lowering all of his high-end security features and connecting to the hack he'd already set up, which allowed him to override the system and play whatever he liked. "Let me hear it." "Number One. Don't be such an arrogant twit. You'd have fallen flat on your face if you had to face all those trainers, and then a gym leader. Only thing missing was a cherry on top," Remi growled. She was always exaggerating though. "I could topple Misty with Pawniard alone," Arc scoffed. "Just as easily as I could take over the Radio Tower, broadcast a sleep-inducing audio file that I fashioned myself from the ramblings of a deranged jigglypuff and coordinate a group of barely-competent grunts - including one who couldn't even snatch an egg from an old couple - as they steal people's pokémon. As so." Arc tapped a couple of buttons on his keyboard and the regular broadcast from the station stopped. "You're so pompous," Remi grunted. Arc bit back, "Get to work. People will start dropping any second." As he spoke he heard a thud out in the corridor. It was probably the guard going down. Lightweight. "All right, we've got results. The grunts are starting to collect up people's pokéballs. I'm going to meet the Agent," Remi said. "Understood, I'll be leaving now. I'll pick up any decent pokémon I pass on the way. There was a tour going on, with a group of trainers in the crowd. I think they might have some pokémon worthy of taking part in our grand experiment," Arc replied. "That's for the Agent to say," Remi argued. "Now get on with it. We'll meet you outside Rock Tunnel."

Arc walked out of the server room to find a dozen people collapsed in the corridor. He chuckled to himself, then went over to the sleeping security guard and snatched the pokéball from his belt. "A poochyena. Hmph. No use." "Whis~!" something cried. Arc frowned. Nothing could have resisted his sleep-inducing transmission. Every living thing in the town that wasn't wearing some of his special earplugs should have been flat out on the floor. "Wait a minute. A whismur?" The pokémon looked up at Arc and walked over to him. It looked like it wanted his help. "Psh. You're more pathetic than a poochyena," Arc said. Then he stamped his foot and flapped his arms. "Get out of my way!"

"So you see, he woke the snorlax that was blocking the route and everyone could get down to Fuchsia City again. Since then he's been remembered by everyone in town. In fact, Mister Fuji is somewhat of a local hero," DJ Mary said. She pulled open the door and stepped out into the... "Oh my word! What's happened?" "Whi~i~ismur!" a pokémon cried. It ran down the stairs from the third floor and Mary instinctively went to it, crouching down to comfort and calm it. "What happened?" she asked, before looking back at the tour group, as they piled out of the studio and into the corridor. "I'm sorry. I don't know what's going on. Everyone seems to be asleep!" "What!?" Arc shouted. "Where did... gah! The studios are soundproofed. Time for me to be going. Anyone tries to follow, I'll destroy you."

Mezame followed DJ Mary out of the sound proof studio room, she had a question she wanted to ask the DJ about pokéflutes but quickly forgot about her question as Mary bent down to comfort a stray Whismer. Mezame walked over to see if she could spot a trainer around somewhere and found herself tripping and narrowly avoiding face planting the floor. Regaining her balance Mezame looked down to see what had tripped her, a guard was sprawled out on the floor- fast asleep. And looking down the hall Mezame could see several other people slumped against walls, completely out of it. "What going on?" She asked anyone. A tell tale dark suit baring the letter R clothed a man who threatened the group to dare follow him. One of the boys in the group had put in ear plugs and challenged the team rocket member. Mezame wondered why since whatever had put everyone to sleep was clearly not heard any longer. Mezame reached for her pokéball, ready to jump in if she needed to.

Vic Angelo~Vic was pushed out of the way by some kid with spiky hair who chased after the angry man. Maybe it wasn't a part of the tour at all... Vic had thought it was rather strange for there to be some kind of amateur dramatics thing going on with live actors when they were in a radio tower. "What's happening?" Lizzy asked. "I think something bad," Vic replied. He peered over people's shoulders and saw that the green spiky guy had started to chase the angry man down the stairs. There were other people collapsed on the floor, as though they'd all fainted. The speakers weren't playing anything any more, either. Before they'd gone into the studio you could hear the radio show in progress. Now there was nothing... so, maybe the broadcast had stopped? Maybe the presenters had fainted too... Vic started to worry something really bad might be happening. "Stay here. I'll be back soon."

Amie walked out of the room along with the rest of the group and she had a confused look on her face when she saw all the people napping outside the room. She didn't think that this was one of the places that allowed by it's employees to sleep on the job. She didn't really know what was going on till she saw the man in black with a red R down a bit further. Amie sighed thinking to herself that she should have realized sooner that it was almost always team rocket's fault whenever something went wrong. One of the guys in the group began to take off after the rocket and Amie followed behind ready to provide back up when needed.

[S]ophyra "S o f i a" [C]hantalxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxThe Emotionless Coordinator . . .•.¸¸.•´´¯`•• .¸¸.•
❥ Sofia slowly making her way at the end of the crowd. She doesn't want to get near a lot of people, it makes her uncomfortable. Probably a few people must be suffocating by now with the crowd wanting to go to the same place while shoving and fighting to get there. Its such a waste. She yawned and raised and arm to cover her mouth. She blinked a few times so that hopefully she won't fall asleep in the middle of the tour. "This is so boring..." She murmured to herself. "Why did we came along to this tour anyways?" She sighed and decided to grumble inside her mind so that she won't waste her breath just complaining to herself.
❥ Meanwhile Elizabeth looks quite excited to know what lays inside the Radio Tower. She guessed that famous people broadcasted in this very tower 24/7. She snickered at the thought and quicken her pace so that she won't fall behind her Coordinator. It would be bad for her to be lost in a big tower all alone with strangers. But then again, if she was missing, Sofia would notice and find her. Then everybody would be happy, blah, blah, blah, the end.
❥ As they entered the room the little Gothita recognized a tune that was so divine that it could put the biggest, baddest, Pokemon to sleep within seconds. "Gothita! Gothita!" She jumped up and down in front of Sofia, warning her of the song. She gestured her stubby little hands to her ears to signal her what she meant. The girl nodded obediently and covered her ears. She pressed it down enough so that the song wouldn't effect her. She looked down seeing that Elizabeth was doing the same thing too.
❥ When the song ended, she was free to uncover her ears. She scanned the area and found a lot of people was snoring, fast asleep on the ground. She managed to see a suspicious person walking by at the corner of her eye. A rather large R was printed on his uniform and the only answer is that he is a Team Rocket grunt. She wondered why they printed something so obvious on their dirty little uniforms? The would do better if those large R wasn't on any of their uniforms. But back to the situation, he seemed to threaten anyone who's going to follow him shall be destroyed. She thought for a moment; "Should I go after him..? Fine then." She declared. "Come, Elizabeth." She called out for her Gothita and sauntered at the direction of where she last saw the Team Rocket grunt. She wasn't in a hurry to catch that grunt. She doesn't really cares what those Team Rocket do anyway. She's only doing this because she doesn't have anything else to do.

Raide remembered the story about the Snorlax, as her mother had complained for a very long time that her packages were late. She half-smiled in remembrance, but was soon caught up in the traffic of people leaving the studio for the larger hall. After squeezing through the door at the same time as another person, she began to see the strangeness of the situation. “Is it normal for security guards to take naps in the middle of the day?” She asked herself, despite knowing the answer already. “I’d’ve thought that they’d pick a place that was a little more comfortable...” She furrowed her brow in sympathy for the people who would undoubtably be in pain upon waking up. Raide stepped over a body carefully, before looking down the hall at an angry sounding man and the train of people following him. She had no idea what was going on, really. Only that someone was running from the scene of something pretty odd, and that nobody innocent would do such a thing. Raide made a split-second decision, and joined the group of people in pursuit, but stepped on some poor person’s fingers in the process. She whispered a hurried apology to the unconscious person, and continued running.
