Summer is finally here for my state and I couldn`t be happier. The last three days have been nothing but sunny days, warm nights and tempatures that requires shorts! Today though we are being punished for having such beautiful days and had a muggy, cloudy, gray day. whee ...Still, I am appreciative of the good non-rainy weather!
All this beautiful weather has made me forget my tough times and just enjoy life!
What have you guys been doing this fine summer?

I have YET to sleep in! Lol.
I was sick for the first week, and still managed to move over 50 miles by bike and by running during my first weekend. Craaazy, right?
Since, I still haven't slept in - I cannot wait to do so, and am shooting for tomorrow. My husband's away on business, and I have no commitments.
Other than that, I've been having loads of fun - I've been down to Victoria (B.C.) and spent a fantastic sunny day with my parents and husband; biked from Duncan to Cowichan Lake on the rather difficult but scenic Trans Canada Trail; cheered my husband on at a local triathlon; run a lot; and begun catching up on gardening and housework.
If the weather ever gets warm enough, for a stretch, I wanna go to Rathtrevor Beach for a run and a high tide swim. I love that.

Today I went to the park in the evening and had a great time taking photos.

Ha! And I did not get my fill of Oregon, last time I was there. I want to do the Fueled By Fine Wine half marathon, next summer. Omg, it sounds fun. And I still have to get to Cannon Beach, the holy grail of west coast awesome, IMO.

I just lost my brother-in-law and my daughter just lost one of her uncles last Sunday in a car accident. Couple that with 110+ degree temps and it makes for a very miserable summer.

pretty hate machine I just lost my brother-in-law and my daughter just lost one of her uncles last Sunday in a car accident. Couple that with 110+ degree temps and it makes for a very miserable summer. I just saw this. I am so sorry. So, so sorry, to hear this. I wish I could say more. My thoughts are with you.
