It might be thought odd by a few, that the meeting was not set in the Rift, that the war room mentioned was not yet 'in play' when they had been asked to attend this meeting. Like so many things in the negaverse though, this could be considered 'a test'. This was, in the mind of the young man who stood before them the first step towards something greater. A proof... a vindication of everything he had done leading up to this moment.
It was the start of what he hoped would elevate all those here to new levels of personal achievement and greatness, Traps...espionage...deceit. Gathering information in the name of furthering the cause...
They had of course, recently, many of them at any rate, lived through the events of 'The Blood Moon Court', it was during these events that their own Tanzinite, had undergone a terrible and glorious transformation, she had risen to the exalted rank of General Queen... others had not been so fortunate, the best of them bore scars that would last the rest of their lives, others had lost their lives, remembered from now until the end of the Dark Kingdom in the world and whistles of song.
"Tonight... each of you were called to start something new..." He said in even tones, he moved between them, brushing his hand lightly against shoulders, familiar... nodding to each of them to acknowledge each talent and skill they brought forward like puzzle pieces that locked together to form a whole.
"If this... operation is successful, the War Room that Tanzinite entrusted to me, will be yours as well, it will be the home of What I call 'Veritas'... that, means truth in latin. That is what we will uncover. Stripping away the skin, the excuses, the LIES of the senshi to reveal who and what they are... among other duties. For tonight... the senshi are our focus."
He paused, walking a few steps away before turning back to look them each in the eye.
"Tonight, with the aid of Wolframite... who has been bold enough to agree to this plan, tonight we lay a trap for those who trapped ours. What more -tempting- bait could there be than one of those who got away?" He spread his hands. "...How much better than... if he -seems- to be attacking a civilian target." He waved his hand to Ilmenite...
"Except that he won't be... it's an old trick, I've played the bait myself else I would never ask you to try..." His eyes glittered, a dark passion as he steepled his fingers.
"We will need to strike fast... we want, if we can... a captive. If we can not have a captive...we will take a corpse." His voice was hard and serious and his eyes flat and cold.
"Each of you brings talents that are vital to the mission, be it our possible need for an escape..." He waved to Allunite. "Or strong fighting skills" he waved to several others. "But I want to make sure each of you are comfortable...I want to make sure that I answer each and all of your questions...and I want to make sure that if any of you want to leave, to wait, that you tell me now. There is NO shame in that... I need to know now... because the operation must start -soon-... we must strike while they are still licking their wounds and while they are still angry enough to lash out...now we see what we can scratch out from beneath their surface."

The creamy white feline had been a little surprised when she'd received the invitation, and only grown more so as General Zinkenite had begun to speak, laying out the purpose of the meeting and upcoming mission.
Compared to the others present she hardly knew what she could do to help. Even with the best effort her tiny claws and teeth wouldn't do much real damage. She was incapable of the feat that Allunite could do as well. Her eyes paused to look over the senshi a little more carefully then the others in the room, accessing his power.. his potential before she finally turned away. Deceit was definately something she could do if nothing else.. Whether an opportunity for it would be possible on this mission she couldn't tell, but the future held great possibilities for the cat.
Her tail curled and flicked slowly beside her as dual colored eyes watched the proceedings with soft interest. She was soaking in all the information she could glean with interest. She had not been around for the kidnappings, did not even know of the Black Moon Court. It was something she'd have to inquire about more fully. Perhaps from this.. Wolframite? But there was no time for that tonight, she'd just have to trust in what she was offered.
Maybe Zinkenite was just being nice. Giving the cat her first mission and duty to pull her out of the boredom of the subspace and throw her into the mix of people she'd soon enough have to be working with. It was an invitation Dahlia would happily take however. It was a way to prove herself and push away any thoughts that she still held affections for any of those white moon senshi or cats. A way to prove she was worth more then just some silly trinket waiting around for when a senshi needed to be propelled to the next level.
"You know I'm in darling.." She purred from her place near the back of the group. Surely she'd find someway to help, even if it was nothing more than causing a distraction at some point.

Somewhere in the back of her mind... something was screaming at her. Some familiar. This blood moon court... they were going to counter act on them, going to draw a blow back at them. This was what they deserved. If this had happened sooner, before her meeting with Ares... she probably would have wondered if this was right.
Since that ares meeting, Lyra wanted to see her again. Try again.... but train more. No tanzanite will be there to save her this time. Next time she would be on her own.
Or.... perhaps not. The corrupted senshis gaze flicked up, looking from Zinkenite to Ilmenite, whom was seated next to her. She had promised him that she would tell him next time she tried something like that. Lyra was a girl of her word, so unless they actually let her go alone she would have back up.... No, she would not be foolish and go alone again. Ares and she might have been the same power rank, but in terms of skill she was outmatched.
She shifted a little uncomfortably in her seat. Lyra was technically not a member of Veritas, not finding herself useful enough to gather information. She was more likely to accidentally GIVE info than to get it. Still she was here, she was here to protect those whom she cared about. There was more than one member in this 'team' that she cared about. She viewed herself as a shield... and damn well if she was not going to protect them. "I'm there." Even if Zink didn't want her there, too damn bad!

For all that he was a general with quite a bit of fighting experience under his belt, the mere idea of it made him sick to his stomach these days. Still, Scheelite stood fidgeting by his seat and trying to calm himself down. Breathe. He wasn't going to be out there drawing blood, there was absolutely no reason to be panicking.
Now if only someone could tell his stomach that.
"I'm here to help!" The words were blurted, which was rather typical for the young general but at least it was a sign that he was still him underneath all the nerves. Scheelite offered each of the gathering his typical smile before turning his full attention back to Zinkenite.
"Running backup, if you need help getting back out do not hesitate to ask I will teleport you right out. Deal? I have faith in each and every one of you that this mission will go great and hopefully I won't even be needed, but it doesn't hurt to have a plan and Zink's the master of covering all the bases, right?"
The grin grew a bit more, and with it the nerves started to ebb away. A bit. ...It was something, at least. He and Zink had already covered this idea, and though he usually liked to be in the middle of everyone's plans if he wasn't needed for this one it would simply mean the mission was going as planned.
Hopefully it would go this way.

Alunite had been silent ever since the meeting had started - it hadn't stopped him from giving Ammolite a small nod of the head in greeting - they could talk more once this was over - and give the white-furred feline a curious glance. He'd expected Hiro when Zinkenite had told him a cat would be present - hell, he hadn't even known that there were other corrupted cats ! This would also require inquiry. Later on, through.
He didn't look like something the cat had dragged in anymore, at least not as much - there was still a bit of accumulated fatigue, but something - or someone - had finally gotten through to him.
When Zinkenite waved at him, he simply nodded. Eventually, through, he finally spoke. "If I am to be used for an easy escape, then I will need to keep as much as my magic as possible for it. However, for the sake of information, I'd like to inform everyone of how my powers work ahead of time."
He reached to mess with his ponytail, a bit of a nervous habit, before he continued. "Most of those present here already know of me, but for the benefit of those who do not..." A small nod of the head in Dahlia and Scheelite's direction. "I am Alunite, Super Senshi of the Eclipse. I am attached to Captain Fluorite, so should you ever need me, she usually knows where I am. I have two magical attacks at my disposal, which work in a similar way. I can make others in our ranks invisible to the senshi -while we will be able to see each other at all time, they won't be able to see us. It also cloaks power auras in order to make them harder to track. My super power is up to three people for 20 seconds. My normal power is one person for 10 seconds. This will be enough to get a head start if needed."
He paused for a moment - clearly the senshi wasn't used to speaking out in front of multiple officers and was rather nervous. "Unfortunately this means that I cannot affect everyone at the same time. You will know if my magic is affecting you if you feel your limbs tingling. If you do, run. I will priorize the wounded if there happen to be any, through I do hope this won't be needed." They were messing with the Blood Moon Court, and he'd heard enough stories. Better safe than sorry.
He turned to Zinkenite, then. "With your approval, General, I would like to reserve my super attack should it be needed to escape, and stick to my fists and my normal power should the need arise during fighting. Or would it be better to use neither and keep the element of surprise ?"
Zinkenite was the strategist. He was just the canon, and he would do as told.

...were they supposed to be professing their loyalty, here? Next to Lyra, Ilmenite sat with long legs sprawled out in front of him and arms folded over his stomach, his posture lazy and somewhat indifferent -- but his eyes, at least, lit up with focus and interest, flicking to the various gathered members as they spoke but mostly locked onto Zink. He played at indolent and insolent, but there was focus there, behind the mask of attitude.
He didn't answer, and he didn't profess his loyalty. One bony shoulder twitched upward in a shrug when Zink looked in his direction, but other than that, he knew what he was supposed to be doing. They'd discussed this. And, in any case, the General knew just how loyal he was.
As much as he could be. He'd said that to Tanz at one point, hadn't he?

He nodded in turn to each who had spoken so far. "Thank you...to each of you who have agreed to participate... We all know how... distasteful and dangerous they can be."
He glanced to Alunite and nodded. "Your request is reasonable...in fact, if you personally feel that things are going to hell, you may commence to prepare your attack, Lyra...I'd like you to guard him so he has the time and cover...are you both alright with that?"
He glanced to Dhallia, You have only...one good shot with your... " He waved a hand disliking the words 'forehead laser' but lacking anything better. "If you can...save it for Ares, or whomever seems to be in charge of the people they send. We may need it... that or identify their most dangerous target, you'll need to consult our listings of information because we may not have time to instruct you on the fly, acceptable?"
"Scheelite... You're in charge of helping make sure everyone gets out, DO be prepared to hit things, I need you at the least to help defend our senshi, Lyra will be as much a target for them as Wolfram because SHE saw the light where they refuse to... is that acceptable for you? It should keep you from harms way but as back up I'd like you to also be ready to pull out any Lieutenants as they can't do it on their own."

It...seemed like a reasonable plan. Yes, he had to be prepared to throw a punch (holy s**t he really didn't want to do that!), and yes he might be around when things got ugly...
BUT.
Zinkenite wanted him there as backup. Backup was something he could totally do. Besides, this was the Negaverse family he was talking about, and some of his closest friends. Hell, even Alunite there knew Fluorite... Yes, he definitely had to protect this group.
"Can do Zink! I'll be ready to hit something with my guitar if necessary, or just teleport anyone out that needs it."
The blonde was nodding enthusiastically at this point. No problem. He could do this. Definitely!

Ilmenite's hand raised, just a brief flash of fingers upward, and he offered a crooked smile at Zink -- not quite teasing, but, well. He knew it was silly to raise his hand. This was a group meeting, not class. There was a certain cheekiness behind the gesture.
"This may be a stupid question but, ah." Halfway lowering his hand, it wriggled so-so, in an uncertain sort of gesture, his head cocked to the side. Ilmenite looked just a touch excited, a spark behind his eyes despite the lazy posture. "Well, I can put clothes over my uniform, you say you've done it, but will they really be distracted enough not to notice my, um, aura?"

Dahlia was.. a little put off when it became apparent that he thought her magic shot was all she had to offer, her eyes narrowing for the briefest of seconds. There was no point arguing it, especially with so many present. It wasn't the impression she needed to be making so early. Better to just prove him wrong.
"I will look over whatever I have time for, otherwise I'll just keep my eyes open for the highest powered or most aggressive members." She agreed finally, before turning her attention to her paws. Her own irritation being channeled through her tongue to the soft white fur.

Zinkenite nodded to Ilmenite and then spoke evenly... "As most of us understand by now, the .... aura for lack of a better word that we give off is not precise, in so great a company, your own...'aura' should mingle quite nicely with our own, as civilians have none, there should be no reason to question your true nature unless you are somehow separated from us... We will of course 'have your back' but be prepared to summon your weapon at a moments notice...alright?" He nodded. "... you may even want your Yoma on call..."
"Dhallia" he turned to the cat "You will have enough time to look through those we have flagged as BMC, you'll find a red moon stamped into the upper right corner of their pages." He nodded slightly and eyed her carefully as though noting the irritation but choosing to say nothing for now.

Wolframite had been sitting further back, not saying a word. The plan in itself seemed simple enough, and his hunger to get back at the BMC was vicious, but there was worry that something would go wrong. The BMC didn't play games. They tortured and killed. They used tricks and traps and whatever they could to get back at the Negaverse. They weren't the typical senshi group to be sure. Part of him felt that most were unprepared for that situation and hoped that everyone else knew the gravity of who they were tangoing with.
To those mentioning backup, he was glad they had extra hands to take them away should things get messy, but Wolframite remembered how he had served as Tanzanite's backup and how that plan had gone terribly wrong. Sometimes just having people there didn't make you feel safe.
He tapped his foot quickly as he thought about it. "I suggest everyone read up on the BMC. They are not to be taken lightly. They're not your run-of-the-mill senshi who have no idea what they are doing. They are organized, like us." But far worse than them. They were ruthless cut-throats that would go through any means to cause pain.
He continued to rapidly tap his foot.

Hel stood beside Schee the whole time, offering a polite nod to Zink as he passed by. Always still with her eyes half closed mauling over everything Zink said. They would be fighting blood moon? She recalled how Schee was after that, how a lot of people felt after that. For a moment her eyes slid over to watch Lyra, or what was once Lyra. She had never formally met the other senshi, but she recalled watching her try to beat Schee's face in. Only once the floor was open to speak and others had gone before her did Hel step up past Schee to speak.
"I'm afraid I don't know many of you at all, but I'm sailor Hel." She glanced to Alunite, then to Zink, "You basic attack might actually be useful in more ways then just an escape. As the Senshi of ash I'm able to slow people down who I strike when my power is active. If the set up is right, your cloaking might allow me to render one of their own vulnerable long enough to steal them away." She frowned though after saying this, "Unfortunately we would need someone else to teleport them out, odds are after my attack is used I won't be able to drag anyone with me anywhere let alone barely be able to teleport myself."
With her part spoken she leaned over giving Schee a very gentle nudge with the elbow, "Don't worry, if anyone tries something funny I'll be sure to take their eyes out for you Captain o captain." The rank might be wrong, but she had always enjoyed calling the hyperactive blond by that title.

Wolframite shifted uncomfortably at the mention of Hel taking someone's eyes out and tried not to look troubled. It was a touchy subject even if the girl was making the threat any senshi that bothered her.

They had to head out as soon as possible but she would have time to paw through files? Sure it was cautious, sure it was a good idea. But the contridiction was enough to cause an ear flick or two, before she let her attention wander off the conversation for a few moments to look around her.
Alunite... eclipse, super level. Lyra... nebulas, eternal level. Hel... ash. Her eyes flicked from one senshi to the next feeling them out silently. Names and power sources flooded her mind in a way that was almost familar.
She wondered softly if it would be the same when she confronted her first regular senshi. Would she be able to feel out the names and powers of them just by looking too? If so it could turn out to be a very powerful weapon.
Dahlia noticed the subtle response of the one eyed captain to the words that Hel spoke as her eyes traveled the room. It had been a stupid choice of words and the cat made note for the future that the injury was aparently not one of pride for the black and green captain. Whether anyone other then him cared to notice, the cat lifted herself and padded her way a little closer to him, sitting once more when she was almost beside him. Wolframite.. wasn't that it?
