The day was bright, and hot. The sun beat down almost in waves of heat. The gentle breeze was soothing, swaying with the trees in an almost dancing motion. The grass seemed to move as well, waving and dancing along with the leaves. It was almost like a perfect harmonic day, of sun and wind, making everything seem rather peaceful. Even the birds seemed to be in a good mood, singing their songs that made everyone and everything seem amazingly good.

Bellezza wondered these grassy plains. She smiled some, listening to the birds as she walked, feeling the grass move along her legs in an almost stroking manor. She leaned her head up toward the sky, staring as long as she could into the brightness, before lowering her head and smiled around at the lovely day. Her neck craned, lowering down toward the grass, where she breathed in the sweet smell, nibbling some at it, before lifting her head once more, and stared around herself, her light body bright in the sunny day.

Alex stretched, the wing that had been folded over his head as he sleep was folded back, and even before he opened his eyes he could tell it was a good day. A sunny day. A smile spread across his face and he got up, stretching from head to tail, shaking out his long mane, and giving his wings a stretch as well, flapping them hard enough to blow the grass that he had been sleeping on about.

'Good day, a good day.' he murmured. A sunny day meant that he felt that all was right with the world, and so he took his rainbow self out into it, a moving splash of colour against the summer greenery.

He continued walking for a while, leaving the stand of trees he had been sleeping in, and out into the sunshine proper, standing still for a moment and letting the rays warm him fully, washing over him as he closed his eyes. A look skywards showed a cloudless sky of an impossible blue colour and he carried on walking, stopping to graze every now and then as he headed towards water, looking around every now and then to see if there were any friendly faces about.

Bellezza wondered the area quietly, her long mane slipping into her eyes every now and then. The feathers connected in her hair bounced somewhat behind her, the noise causing her ears to flick and shake some. The noise often caused a distraction in her, that she tried hard to ignore. The jewelry seemed to shimmer in the sun, causing an almost sparkling look to her as she moved. She was used to such things by now, but there were still times that she wondered just what she was going to do with all these small objects.

It was then that her bright purple eyes caught something standing out in the grass. It was bright, and yet dark. She stared curiously from afar, for the moment. As soon as she settled ab it more, she realized just what it was. A stallion, black skinned, with rainbow colored markings that seemed to go all the way along him, from his nose to his tail, and even his wings. His long mane looked gold in color, and she was somewhat confused by the breed that he carried about him. Perhaps his parents were two different species, as hers were. Sure, she picked up on her mother in body, but her father in looks. This stallion seemed to get a little of both.

Moving forward quietly, the bold mare let out a small whinny of greeting as she moved. She did so, in case he was startled or didn't like to be approached too often. Her ears flickered up, eying the male a bit more as she got closer. She needed to be able to tell the difference from a good and bad stallion more often, but for now, this was fine, learning as she got closer. Her hair fell in ripples along her shoulders and back, her tail dragging lightly on the ground.
