Xiu giggled at her desk, sifting though all the photos she had taken during prom. Some of them, like Mitsu and Shun dancing, were particularly sweet, while the others were...unique, to put it simply. The Baku emitted another giggle as she flipped to the image of Junko getting dragged beneath the table. Despite not knowing the context or the reason that Riley had found it necessary to pull people under--aside from the fact she was on a sugar high, that was--the picture wasn't any less amusing.
She put these photos down for now, picking up two other stacks that sat to the side and slipping them into envelops. These ones were the images that she had promised to copy for Mitsu--the ones that contained both the ghoul and her date that evening. Xiu had two sets made, one for Mitsu, and one for Shun.
However, while she was copying these photos, she suddenly realized how behind she was with sharing them with other people. It would have been much easier if she had a list of those who wanted photos and had sets made all at once instead of one at a time. She didn't have much to do today...maybe she could invite friends over and have them pick out which pictures that wanted?
She took out her phone to do just that, immediately scrolling down to Lizzy's name and typing out a text. Lizzy, hi! <3 Um, I have the pictures from prom all printed out. Do you have the time to come and take a look at them? I'm in my room right now! Room 171!

Lizzy was in her room, in a rather good mood for no particular reason at all. Okay, maybe she had a reason to be happy; something rather... Big had recently happened, after all, and she was still giggly over it. Thus, when her phone started to vibrate, she quickly reached for it, almost expecting a certain someone's name to show.
While it wasn't who she had expected, the name on the screen still caused her to grin. That was, until she read the message that Xiu had sent her.
Prom photos.
Prom. Photos.
Quickly, she typed out 'I'll be right over! <3' before getting out of her nightgown and tossing on some presentable clothing and heading out the door; she was on a mission... A mission to get rid of some very questionable photos. Thus, arriving at Xiu's room, she knocked on the door and called out "Xiu! It's Lizzy!" before waiting for an answer.

Upon hearing the knock, Xiu immediately jumped out of her seat, rushing over and opening her door with a grin. "Lizzy!" She greeted, her tail waving as she reached forward to give her a little hug, "Um, come in, please! You can have a seat on the couch!" She moved aside to let her friend into the room before closing the door after her.
"How is everything going?" The Baku chirped, moving back to her desk to gather up the photos, "I haven't seen you much since prom. Anything interesting happen?"
Oh, little did she know...
Sitting down beside the demon, Xiu put the stack of photos down on her lap and grinned at Lizzy. "There are some um...interesting photos in here," She admitted, laughing, "I thought I'd invite you over to see which pictures you wanted copies of. I've already made some copies for Mitsu and Shun."

Lizzy giggled in response to the hug before returning it happily, enjoying the ghoul's company already. Giving a nod as she walked it, she left her footwear near the door before looking around the room, unable to resist smiling at the color scheme Xiu had chosen. Looking at the Baku as she moved to the couch to take a seat, she nodded, "I like your room!"
At the question, Lizzy paused; she had intended to keep that a secret for now, to avoid complications, so hopefully, she wouldn't sense anything wrong.
"Not much... Just classes, homework... The usual," She nodded before her eyes widened, "Oh! And an exam! I passed!" A grin started to spread across her face; she had clearly not gotten over the excitement and joy of passing her first exam. Then again, she did announce it over Groanspring, so most of her friends should have known this by now.
"Interesting photos, you say?" She raised an eyebrow before causally adding, tilting her head at Xiu, "Such as...?"

Sure enough, beyond a small pause, Xiu didn't act as if she sensed that anything was wrong. Grinning at her friend's announcement, the Baku reached out to hug Lizzy again, her tail swishing enthusiastically behind her. "I heard!" She beamed, sincerely happy and proud of her friend, "Congratulations again!"
She grinned a little sheepishly at the question, turning her eyes down towards her photos. "Um, well..." How did she put this? "Lots of strange things happened that night, you know? There were some cute things..." She dug though her stack of photos and handed Lizzy the ones of dancing couples. "There were silly things..." Pictures of Riley under the table.
"And, um..." She wasn't really sure what to call this one. It was...kind of silly, she figured? And maybe a little weird too, considering the look Jericho had on his face. Silently, she passed the picture (which she had mentally dubbed "sausage photo") over to Lizzy.
"I um...figured I'd let you be one of the first to see this, s-so..."

"Thank youuu!" She giggled, twirling a lock of pink hair around a finger as she nodded in agreement with Xiu's statement, "Lots of strange things... I think a lot of us were high off the atmosphere of prom, which prompted a lot of silly behavior... Although I suppose that made prom a memorable night!"
She went through the photos as they were handed to her, smiling at some, giggling at others. When Xiu handed her the 'sausage photo', however, she had to resist cringing. Instead, as casually as with the other photos she had been given, Lizzy nodded, "Ah... This... Xiu, mind if I take this?"
And burn it.
"This is rather embarrassing and I don't want it getting out," She blushed, offering the ghoul a sheepish smile.

It was certainly fortunate that, beyond Mitsu, no one else had seen that particular photo yet. Xiu wanted to invite Lizzy over first, not only because she considered the other ghoul to be one of her closer friends, but also because she was sure the demoness would want to see that picture. Apparently she had been right.
"Of course," The Baku answered easily, giggling, "It's all yours. If I may ask though...what was going on there?" Leaning forward, she tapped her finger on one of the figures in the picture. "And what is wrong with Jericho here?" She still couldn't get over that strange expression of his. It was as he was...as if he was...
...As if he had found something very interesting, perhaps?
"Did you want copies of the other pictures too?"

"Thank you," Lizzy smiled, sounding both grateful and kind of relieved that she would be able to destroy the photo... Or at least keep it locked away from anyone else! Quickly, she stuffed the photo into her handbag before turning to look at Xiu again, a light blush creeping up her cheeks as she paused.
... How to explain this...?
"Hm, well... Uh... I'm not exactly sure myself," She decided to avoid the subject, since she wasn't sure how the ghoul would react if she were to tell her what Mot had told her during prom, "But it's a boil thing...? Just don't eat any sausages in front of them. Or any foods that look like a sausage..."
Another paused followed as she relaxed, smiling a little more naturally, "Of course! What do you have...? Or perhaps I should just grab a copy of everything you have." She giggled.

Don't eat sausages in front of boils? "But...why's that?" Wrinkling her nose, she tried to think back to prom night again. Clearly Jericho had been affected by...whatever was going on, and Xiu vaguely remembered that even Shun looked a little off. As for Mot, he had been...um, laughing, if her memory served. Had she missed something funny?
"Most of my pictures are candid shots," She admitted, showing Lizzy a few random ones, "And I have...the hip thrust line, of course." Actually, it was more like a series of hip thrust photos--Xiu had pictures of pretty much everyone who had taken part, from Bul to Mac.
It really was lucky that Xiu wasn't the type of ghoul to use these pictures for blackmail.
"I can make you copies of all the pictures if you'd like? I don't know if you want these though." She held up the pictures of some students and their dates that night. The pairs included herself and Vaith, Mitsu and Shun, and Junko and Seiji among some others. "I'm particular pleased with this one," She admitted, waving the picture of her and the pale blond reaper, "It's the only picture I have of myself that night."

"Uh... It makes some boils feel uncomfortable?" She nodded before smiling sheepishly, not quite sure how to answer her friend's question. Thus, she was glad for the change in topic, almost sighing in relief when she was no longer required to explain further; she didn't want to discuss the... 'Sausage' incident anymore than necessary, since she did not wish to taint Xiu's view on that particular food. It was... Too late for her. Too late.
"Candid's the best," She giggled, "I mean, it really captures the moment, yes? Posing for a photo is nice too, but years later, when I look at these photos, it's the candid ones that will probably make me smile the most!" Lizzy, a true not-so-hidden-romantic? Yes, yes she is.
"Ohh, yes... Uh, Vaith, right?" She stared at the photo of Xiu and her date with a small smile, find it to be rather adorable, "Ah... I didn't get to talk to him much that night..." She tilted her head, frowning a little; she felt pretty bad about it... After all, he was there, and she couldn't even remember if she said 'hi' to him!
"Hm... I think it'll take a long time for me to look through everything and pick what I want," She giggled, tapping a finger against her chin thoughtfully, "So a copy of everything would be nice!" That way, she would be able to show her mother over the break, and take her own time to look through them! Two birds with one stone~

Xiu laughed, looking down at the pictures again. "That's true! The candid pictures really are a lot more fun to look at, aren't they?" She definitely could imagine herself looking back and laughing at these a few years into the future.
Smiling wryly, she reached out to pat the ghoul on the shoulder. "Vaith was pretty quiet during prom. I feel bad for the way I was running around and taking pictures of everything, but I'm glad I got to dance the last dance with him." The Baku had been relieved that he didn't seem bothered--and was actually very patient--about her picture-taking that night. "It really was a fun night." She sighed, unable to keep the wistfulness out of her voice. It would be another year until the next prom!
"I'll make you a copy of everything and get it to you before you leave then," She promised, jotting a note down on a pad of paper. "Um...When are you going, anyways?"

She smiled at the pat on her shoulder, "He was pretty quiet... Is he shy?" She was just assuming, judging from his behavior at prom and during the prom committee; that or he was just a quiet person like Shun... Grumpy reaper boils! Then again, judging from what Xiu was telling her, Vaith seemed like an agreeable person.
"Aww... I assume you didn't manage to take a photo of that last dance?" She asked, tilting her head, "I appreciate you being the photographer though!" She smiled, taking the Baku's hand and giving it a squeeze as she looked at her, "And yes, it was... It's something... Really memorable." Her smile grew a little as she said that.
She paused momentarily to think before answering, "Hm... About 1 and a half weeks from now?"

Shy? The ghoul had to knit her brows at this, looking as if she was unsure of the answer herself. "He's...just quiet, I think? I'm not entirely sure," Xiu admitted, grinning sheepishly, "But he's a nice guy." That was the only thing that she knew for certain.
She laughed and shook her head. "It was the last dance. I didn't want to bother anyone or pull them away just to get them to take a picture for me." She explained, smiling, "Besides, it was fun to take pictures, and it's not like I'll forget that dance even without a photo. Vaith was the first friend-date I ever had." Xiu's first prom had definitely set high standards for any future dances.
"A week and a half, hmmm? I should be able to get the copies to you be then," She murmured, looking thoughtful. "And have lots of fun, okay? It's going to be a lot more boring here without you!"

"That's good to know," She giggled with a nod, "I'm sure there'll be other chances for us to get acquainted!" Like classes, or other school events, for example... Well, assuming he turns up for them.
"Awww, that's too bad," She tilted her head, "But you're right! At least that memory will be in here-" She pointed at her own brain before chuckling softly, raising an eyebrow, "Best camera Halloween can offer! Unless... You know, you have a rotting brain... Or something along those lines." She smiled sheepishly before nodding, "Yes, a week and a half~ Awww, you're staying in school? You can come visit me, you know!"

A rotting brain? "How would that work anyways, I wonder?" She mused, scrunching her face up as she thought about it. How bad would your memory be? Could you even remember things at all? She supposed it depended on how badly rotted, but--
--Why was she thinking about this?
Shaking her head, she grinned at Lizzy's offer, her tail giving a little wag. "I...if I wouldn't be imposing on you or your mother, I would like to visit you guys sometime." She admitted, looking a little embarrassed, "And I'll be staying at school for most of the break, but I might be paying my uncle a visit. He said that he made me some new clothes for the break." Xiu smiled brightly at this, clearly excited to see her uncle again.
Standing up, the ghoul stretched and emitted a little yawn. "I'm sure you're busy getting ready and packing, then? I'll make sure I get these pictures to you as soon as possible!"
