((OOC: Open to anyone who'd like to play! Just trying to awkwardly get my big boy back in here. <3;; ))
It had been a long, long time since Gargantuan set foot on the school grounds. To make an uninteresting story very short, the big beast had soon grown homesick, and had taken a vacation, wandering back into the woods surrounding the school in hopes of finding his swamps. Anyone who knows G probably realizes where this is going--the monster ended up getting hopelessly lost, and spent months in absolute misery.
Until now.
Just another day of wandering through the Weeping Forest--or so G had thought. He stumbled and shoved his way through the brush, not minding the scrapes and scratches of twigs biting at his skin. Unexpectedly, the trees suddenly gave way, and the young monster found himself staring at the very familiar buildings of Amityville High.
With a low, utterly relieved sound, Gargantuan promptly flopped on his face in the dirt, rubbing his cheek against it. "Hullo, dirt." The brute said mournfully before he wormed his way closer to the school. "G miss you. G never wanna go home 'gain. Forgive G?"
Of course it would. G was a good boy! Of course, anyone walking by would spot him snuzzling gratefully at the ground... which might give off the wrong impression, just maybe.

There was a very specific reason why Riley was headed towards that very same dirt that G was currently burrowing into. One of the many suggestions for getting glitter off of her tentacles was to roll in dirt - and as disgusting as the idea was, she was going to try it. Four showers and lots of tape still had not done their job, and this was her last resort before just taking the loss and cutting her own appendages off.
She didn't even make it to the dirt, if only because it was occupied.
Riley stopped in her tracks, tilting her head to the side and staring at the large boil burying his face in the ground. She hadn't seen G in far too long, which - she realized with a sudden start - upset her. It came as a surprise that she cared at all.
But she did.
G? Did you get glitter on yourself, as well? She murmured carefully, taking care not to get too close as she made her presence known - she didn't want him slamming up into her.

Jericho had just been wandering around the school grounds just to take a walk when he saw two figures in the distance. He saw Riley in specific, as well as a large monster that he hadn't actually seen before. The latter was laying on the ground. Did... the mindflayer get into a fight with the larger student?
He couldn't really be certain, but to investigate, he jogged to see what was going on.
"Hey uh... is.. everything alright here?" he asked while looking from his friend to the big green monster. When he looked over at Riley, he noticed that... her tentacles still shimmered a bit in the light. Frowning at that, he really hoped that she could get the glitter out. He really didn't want to have to resort to helping her cut and burn off the appendages just so she could be free from that wretched curse.

Sparrow had been out for a walk that particular morning. It was a usual day in Amityville; grey and slightly chilly, though the sky was relatively clear. He had spent most of the day studying and attempting to get the information through to his brain, and when nothing was comprehending, he realized that it was, in fact, time for a break.
So he decided to take a small stroll around the wide expanse of the campus grounds, gloved hands slipped into the pockets of a pair of dark grey slacks, his hair pinned back to keep it away from his face. A light breeze had kicked up, and Sparrow, closing his eyes briefly to inhale the scent of rain, was not exactly paying attention to where he was going. So it came as a bit of a surprise when he found himself on the outskirts of the Weeping Forest - and not exactly alone. He blinked.
"Riley," he said, with a small bow to the mindflayer and a nod to the redheaded dragon boil beside her. "A pleasure..."
Sparrow trailed off, his gaze flickering curiously to the great, green beast lying on the ground in the dirt. He did not recognize this student in the slightest, and he tilted a head, trying to figure out if he should offer a hand of assistance, or determine what exactly he was doing before that.

Xiu had seen a fair bit of strange things ever since she enrolled in Amityville, but a glitter-covered Riley really would have been the one of the last things on her list. Frowning with confusion, the little Baku trotted up to the mindflayer, her head cocked to the side. "R-riley?" She spoke up meekly, raising a hand in greeting, "Um, h-hello. Why are you all...sparkly? Did something happe--oh."
It wasn't until then that she noticed the other ghoul had company, and she instinctively took a few steps back as she took them in. How she had missed them in the first place was a mystery--both of the boils towered over the little Baku (or at least, she was certain the green boil would if he was standing upright). Jericho she had seen around before, but she had never met the other monster before. Why was he rubbing his face to the ground like that?
And more importantly, he wasn't going to try eating her, was he? Looking uneasy, Xiu began to back away, offering the trio a shaky smile as she did so. "E-excuse me! I...I'm sorry, I didn't know that I was interrupting!" She emphasized her apology by bowing, but being the elegant demon that she was, stumbled over her own feet as she tried to bow and back away at the same time. Fortunately (or unfortunately, perhaps?) she backed right into someone before she could actually fall over.
Hopefully he had the reflexes to keep himself upright before they both went tumbling down.

It was not unusual for the water djinn to wander the edge of the woods and swamp they bordered, finding peace in the little wandered path and the nearness of so much water, murky or otherwise. True it was quite dirty and the aroma of the place could have been improved upon, but she liked it all the same. Lately though something had been missing. Something big, and green, and unexpectedly gentle. Her partner in muddy crime, so to speak, the beasty G.
She hadn't seen him in quite some time, and was growing worried. He was a big fellow though, and she every faith in his ability to, if not stay out of trouble, get himself out of anything that might befall him.
So she wasn't expecting to see him as she rounded a bend in the familiar path. Or anyone for that matter. Instead she found herself faced with a group of other students, Riley among them, and at the center of them all was the swamp beast himself sprawled in the dirt, cheek rubbing back and forth like a cat leaving its scent. Tidiness be damned, she dug her toes into the dirt and darted across the remaining distance between them, calling out in happy relief. "G! Oh, where have you been, I've been absolutely worried about you!"
She dropped to her knees when she reached him, bending low so she could place softly glowing blues on his level, smiling warmly at him as cupped his large face in her small hands.

Fanning out his ear fins with surprise, the beast lifted his head with open delight at the Mindflayer's familiar 'voice' of sorts. It was a good thing that she'd positioned herself a careful distance away, because he was clumsily attempting to grab her with his sucker-tipped fingers. "Glitters? No, G find dirt!" His tail thumped the ground happily, but it didn't look like Riley was alone!
He tilted his head at the sight of the dragon boy, unconsciously wanting to touch his wings, but that would mean getting up and moving. G was too tired for that. "Hullo," He rumbled affectionately--and there was another person as well! He was smaller though, and the swamp beast wriggled curiously in the mud. Riley had a lot of friends!
As the little ghoul appeared in their midst, and G was just about to heave himself up to a sitting position when yet another good friend of his emerged. "Yaaaaaayaaaaaaaaaa." He named her happily, burying his head against her chest and rumbling with pleasure. "G went home! G got lost." The monster explained as though this was extremely normal.

As G buried his face against her the ghoul laughed, and curled her arms around his neck, hugging him even as she fell back against the dirt from the force of his greeting. He was going to get her dirty, she knew that without a shadow of a doubt, but she didn't care. Too happy, too relieved, and far too used to their encounters ending in muck and mud.
"Oh G.." She cooed sympathetically, stroking fingers along the backs of her ear fins. The poor thing, he must have been so scared. "I'm glad you're back, and safe." Trips to the swamp weren't half so fun without the beasty there to keep her company. She hadn't really realized just how much she counted on seeing him when she ventured near the murk and muck, not until he was gone.
Touching his jaw, she used fingertips to gently draw him back from her chest so she could lay a small kiss on his for head before smiling. "I missed you, silly." There was smears of dirt along the tops of her breasts above the line of her shirt but she ignored them.

She saw those fingers reaching out for her, and hesitated. A hug was imminent, and she had the power to just.. stay where she was, safe and sound, and with her spine intact.
And yet, before she knew it, she was taking those few steps to reach her hand out and slide it into the offered one. The other had already been occupied by Yaya - who was taking the brunt of hugging on her own. So perhaps she was safe.
She squeezed his hand, and her eyes crescented upwards. I, too, am so very glad to see you safe and sound, G.
She heard Jericho and Sparrows voices, followed by Xiu, and turned to look up at the three. Hello, gentlemen, and lady. Everything is fine. It seems that an old friend has come back from a very long trip. This is Gargantuan. She turned back to the swamp monster, taking another step closer. G, these are my friends, Jericho, Xiu, and Sparrow.

As others approached, Jericho glanced back to see Xiu, a reaper had had seen at the Open house, and Yaya coming by. When he turned his attention back to the big green monster, he took note that it seemed that there was no struggle at all. He just was... really tired?
Going off of the way he spoke, this one might not quite be the brightest wisp in the fog... so to speak.
Things were cleared up pretty quickly and before long, the dragon grinned at the big guy. Going off of both Riley and Yaya's reactions, he was a pretty cool guy.
"Nice to meet you, G," he smiled, "Er... do you need help getting up at all?"

Natalia was just nosey.
Just too jack damn nosey for her own good...and on this particular morning, as she peeked out her windows and saw commotion down below, the monster trilled loudly and went running down the stairs, toward the double doors of the building and out onto the wild green lawn of Amityville Academy with excitment pulling her lips from ear to ear!
G probably wouldn't remember her...the train ride to Christmas Town had taken place SO. LONG. AGO...but Natalia remembered here as clear as day. The ghoul also remembered just how fond she was of him as they exchanged perhaps a word or two before hardly seeing one another at all afterward...
It was easy to forget individuals when they were out of sight. The coined phrase an accurate one, as the time spanning between her last seeing him had indefinitely removed the boil from her thoughts...but as Natalia came to the group, panting softly with a hand covering her (surprisingly) concealed bosom, the monster felt an instant pull toward him...as well as the resurfacing worry that had built up a short time after his disappearance.
"Hello!" The ghoul wheezed, giving the group a once over. Sparrow and Riley were standing there, and to them she bent forward in a gracious bow, before spotting Yaya in the dirt beside G and smiling...for many reasons. The others, the dragon boil who looked familiar and a ghoul with long beauitful hair, were offered a wave of the hand. Appraising the situation critically from her new position then, Natalia was somewhat reassured to hear that the boil was not in any serious trouble or danger.
Just happy to be back, was what she assumed.
And she looked to be quite happy as well.
"G..." She said tentatively, so unlike herself as usually the ghoul would have thrown her weight around by now...it just did not feel like the right time to attack him. She was a stranger from the train at most, even if for a while she felt she could have been something of a friend.

She whirled around to apologize to the reaper boil that she had bumped into, and was ready to skitter away when she heard herself being introduced by the mindflayer. Freezing, she turned around slowly to face the group again. Now that she had been introduced, it would be rude for her to leave without any words.
Taking a deep breath and trying to steel her quivering nerves, the Baku slowly moved towards the green monster, her sweaty hands grasping the front of her dress. "I, um...G-gargantuan, is it?" She offered a small smile and the slightest of bows, "I-it's nice to meet you!"
If he was a friend of Riley's then surely he could be trusted, right? Judging by the way Riley and the other ghoul greeted G, she came to the same conclusion that Jericho did. He was clearly quite well-liked among his peers, and seemed like a rather affectionate boil too, which surprised her considering his...well, rather large and intimidating stature.
Clearly she shouldn't judge by appearance alone.
Stiffening when she realized someone else had shown up, Xiu raised a hand to wave meekly at the new ghoul, before slowly shuffling backwards and back to where the reaper--Sparrow, Riley had introduced him as--stood.

A few content grunts rumbled in the monster's chest for the attention, though he did shiver with delight as her gentle fingers touched at his sensitive ears. It felt strange, but nice! "G missed Yaya." It was almost a purr, and his heavy tail slapped happily at the ground.
Riley, of course, would be pulled against his chest as well, and Gargantuan was very happy to roughly settle on his rump to better cuddle the pair. "Hiiiiiiiiiiiii," He grumbled at the three, his fins fanning out with delight. New friends! He could never mind new friends! "Nope. G just tired. Lotsa walkin'. You fly?" That, of course, would be something very important to know.
His surprise was apparent in his body language as the lemur girl appeared--at the very least, he could recognize her by scent! "G 'member you!" He said enthusiastically after a moment, a thick finger pressing to his bottom lip as he tried to think of exactly where he knew her. Then, of course, it hit him. "Traaaaaaaaain!"
"X...Xiiiiuuuuu." He puzzled the word out slowly, and would have been blinking if he could. "Funny name, but G like. No met Xiu 'n Jeri 'n Sparrows before!"
Well. He was kind of close.

Riley felt the ground underneath her disappear as she was plucked up and slammed directly into G's chest. She barely had time to close her eyes and bring her hands up, though they hardly stopped him from crushing her against his chest. One could almost see the hands flailing for a moment as she tried to pull her face away, but the nervous chuckle she emitted brushed away any suspicions that she might have been unhappy. This was G, after all. His special brand of affection was not a surprise anymore.
Yes. Well. Ah. Good to see you haven't changed either. She rubbed the cheek that had been smushed against him, with one hand. She tried to make herself comfortable, shifting into a position that was not as pressed-against-the-monster-like-a-stuffed-animal, and a bit more dignified. You've missed quite a lot since you were gone. And I must say, you should probably be thankful for it. The idea of G's innocent mind being tampered with at that island sort of made Riley almost kind of maybe slightly heartache.
.. but only a little bit.
But you're here now. She patted his knee. That's all that matters. Of course, he'd missed so much coursework, that she realized she wouldn't be seeing him in her new classes anymore. Ah. You have some catching up to do. If you need a tutor for anything, you will come to me. This was not so much an offer, as it was a statement of fact.

One dark hand came to rest on the swamp beast's shoulder as he snatched up Riley to pull her into the hug as well, laughing happily as she was quite literally shifted about like a rag doll. He was so strong, she'd nearly forgotten. Nearly. Another fond peck was pressed to his temple before she resumed her soft stroking along the back of one perked ear fin. Watching quietly as G greeted everyone around them.
As Natalia made her way down the path the djinn's glowing eyes narrowed as a grin spread along full lips. Dark brows raising in silent greeting. Delightful ghoul. Aside from the dragon she wasn't familiar with the other students that were gathered around the beasty, and she payed close attention as they each introduced themselves. Filing away the names for later.
"You have missed a lot, though as Riley said it's probably for the best you missed the specific events." Despite the unhappy memories that always rose up at the mention of the island the ghoul kept her voice calm and happy, the tip of a finger running along the edge of one large ear. "The swamps not been the same with out you," she offered brightly, head tilting as she smiled at him. It was nice having her swimming buddy back again.
