Barth knocked on Claire's door. He did not usually go visiting (it involved walking) but he had done his fair share for Lilith and Claire, at least, was in the same dorm.
Any way, he had some very important things to discuss with his sister.

Claire was rolling around on her floor, pretending to be a carpet when she heard a knock.
"HOLD ONNNNNNN~~~~" she yelled as she rolled to the door, got up, and opened it.
Barth?
Barth hadn't been here before. Claire grinned at her brother before saying "Welcome to Claire's dormitoro...dorrito!"

"Yes err, can I come in?" Barth asked. He had not actually seen said dorrito, and was not sure what to expect. ...Mostly, if their dad's garish, opulent, and cluttered sense of decorating had transferred over.
And more importantly, if she had any comfy furniture.

"Yes you can..." she replied, stepping out of the way. She had forgotten to ask why Barth was visiting, but she didn't mind.
She ran to the fridge and grabbed a tub of ice cream and a spoon to eat while she just watched Barth.
WHAT WAS HE DOING?
She didn't know.

Barth was moving very slowly towards the first available chair.
"How was prom?"
Small talk first, he figured, and then working his way up to favors (with a non-capital f).

Claire stopped eating her ice scream for a moment before saying "erm... Uh, it was... great at first. H-how was yours?" then she started eating twice as fast.
Barth did not need to know about... the event. She faked a smile as she ate her ice scream.

He was almost to the chair. He could make it.

"W-well, um, I started dating Moure because he asked me out and then Roch got angry because... well, I'm not supposed to say. But uh...Do you want something to eat?" she said casually as her toes curled in her boots.

"Yes please," he said, regarding something to eat and finally reaching the chair. He slumped into it bonelessly. Moure? ...He knew Moure.
"The Runner? Patchworky sort of fellow? He's, err, well, a good fetcher. I suppose." If there was any solid foundation for a relationship, Barth might argue it would be ability to do things for you. "And decent enough. He carried some things to Lilith's for me."
He had thought it was for free, at the time, but if he'd asked Claire out there were obviously some ulterior motives at work.
"...Just a fling, then? Roch didn't behave too badly, did he?" Barth had hoped all the disapproving brother tones he'd used had done some good.

"He's, um... very nice. Roch is nice too, he just... uhm... he didn't behave badly, he just got mad. And yeah, Moure is great. He is very... convenient." she honestly didn't know what to say.

"Much better," Barth said in a goopy, far-away sort of tone. Lilith had been going much better. As for Moure ...Convenient. That was patchworks for you.

"N-no I just have a sore stomach. I climbed in my fridge and I cut it open." She said, biting her lip before skulling the rest of her ice-cream "Did you need anything or are you just saying 'hello' to your wonderful sister?"

"What, cut it open recently? ...Well, I might need a small, err, just a little something." He leaned forward in a way that might have registered as sinister, before reconsidering and then just leaning back to slump lower in the chair.
"I need you to ask dad for a second refrigerator."

"D-dad? But he will start asking questions as he always does, Barth. Plus, my fridge is never-ending! Why would I need another?" she shook her head and sat down opposite Barth. She was so confused as to how she would convince her father to get her a new fridge. "Would I be asking it as though it's for... me? Or for you?"

"Mine was on the never-ending side. But it exploded in an experiment and I need another one. I can't ask him for one. But you're...you know, gluttonyish. If he thought you wanted another one he'd probably just think you were being excessive. He'd probably encourage it."
Barth twiddled his thumbs awkwardly.
"The refrigerator's the only thing he sent me when I came here. ...I err, I don't want him to know it's broken."
