AMITYVILLE ACADEMY ENROLLMENT FORM
Name: Fuaire Nicknames: N/A Gender: Male Age: 15
Faction/Race Undead/Frez Drah (Rhymes with Pez Uh)
Natural Ability: Frostbite: Drowning in freezing water has made the hands of a Frez Drah tough and hardened. This ability helps the Frez Drah in unarmed combat by desensitizing him/her to pain in that area. The drawback is, well, since they can't feel they have to be careful not to lose their hands in the process!
Personality: In shortest terms, Fuaire is an absolute jerk. He's arrogant, selfish and moody. And the best part?
He doesn't even understand why.
Typically, a Frez Drah can remember why they're so angry in the afterlife. Fuaire? He doesn't have the faintest clue. All he has is a blurry mental picture of a young blonde woman. Was she the reason he died? Is she who he's so angry at? Somebody out there knows, but that somebody isn't him. Whatever the true reason for his hatred, Fuaire takes it out on nearly everyone around him. Cynical, sarcastic and a with biting sense of "humor" (if you can even call it that) he shows no mercy to even the most innocent of students. He'd feel bad about it afterward, but he's so closed off to everything besides his anger that he doesn't really know how to go about it. The hatred that moves his container runs deep indeed so any attempt to get him to focus on something else would require the patience of a saint.
Considering how one-track his mind is, if someone managed to win him over, they would most likely have his loyalty for life. There's only so much space in his head, so if you get included in there you should consider yourself very lucky indeed! However, he might consider you something more of a possession than a companion; you become his well-guarded property. Because of the immense betrayal he suffered in his former life, he has trouble letting go of his initial distrust of others. Forging relationships -- romantic or otherwise -- will prove difficult for Fuaire.
His fixation on his hatred resembles something similar to ADD; it renders him unable to focus on simple tasks for an extended period of time. His mind will wander back to planning his unknown revenge against a person he can't remember and thinking about it will just anger him all over again.
Quite the catch, eh, ladies?
In regards to his appearance, Fuaire is typically too busy being moody to notice that his container is damaged and, well, relatively gross. Every once in a while he'll notice that his ribs are showing or his feet are oozing, but it doesn't seem to bother him too much because REVENGE. As a result, he tends to let personal hygiene -- well, as clean as a rotted corpse can be -- go quite a bit. Curiously, he takes much better care of his hair than anything else; perhaps it's a subconscious urge from his former life. Maybe it's because his head wound might have something to do with his death. Maybe his ADD just kicks in and he feels the need to comb his coif. Whatever the reason, his hair is normally in place.
Generally, Fuaire is apathetic towards most everything that doesn't apply directly to his foggy past.
Pros: Determination (even if it's a bit scary), loyalty (should you earn it)
Cons: Instability, his bad attitude, social ineptitude
Likes: Plotting revenge, the cold, water (particularly fresh water), tribal designs, "multitasking" (he likes to pretend he's getting things done), his patchwork coat
Dislikes: Amnesia, the sun, heat, wind, spicy food, peppy people, lectures, footwear
Why are they enrolled in Amityville Academy? Like other Frez Drah, Fuaire's main motivation is simply to exact revenge upon a person who wronged him in his past life. However, he finds himself in the awkward position of not remembering who this is. Instead of wandering aimlessly, Fuaire enrolls with the hope of honing his incredibly lacking skills. By trying to focus on improving his ineptitude as a Frez Drah, he hopes that maybe some of his amnesia will lessen and he'll remember more clues as to the object of his hatred. Distracting himself -- no matter how unsuccessfully -- with classes in order to clear his mind, Fuaire works to sharpen his abilities and overcome his handicap.
While he hasn't given too much thought to what classes he'd partake in, he hopes to enroll in anything that might offer him control over his haywire FEAR and coordination with his gangly limbs. Above all, he desires a passport with which travel to the human realm becomes feasible; maybe if he can't find clues in Halloweentown, he might find what he's looking for elsewhere.
Over time, his goals might change. Perhaps being exposed to others similar to himself will work to soften his demeanor and lessen his taste for revenge.
FEAR: Absolute Zero: Through the use of his frostbitten hands, Fuaire is able to induce the symptoms of hypothermia in his unsuspecting target. Depending on how long he makes contact, the symptoms range anywhere from mild hypothermia (shivering, mental confusion) to severe (extreme fatigue, memory loss, and irrational behavior/"paradoxical undressing"/"terminal burrowing"). Imparting his cold to another being heats up his own body, however, sending Fuaire into hyperthermia; his symptoms will range from mild to severe, reflecting perfectly the severity seen in his target. Dry skin and dizziness hardly make for a successful Frez Drah; if he expends too much energy, his body will melt and he'll require contact with cold water and rest in order to recover.
In his first year, he can only induce mild hypothermia at best. At the same time, though, he can't regulate his temperature as accurately, so Fuaire is more susceptible to melting when using this skill. He'll require quite a lot of training in order to better maintain his container.
In his second year, Fuaire will have achieved more mastery over Absolute Zero and can now induce moderate hypothermia in his target. The chance of his melting has lessened significantly, but he still suffers harsher hyperthermia symptoms than the hypothermia symptoms he can dish out.
In his third year, the damage ratio has more or less evened out with perseverance and training. Now able to induce severe hypothermia in a target, Fuaire's power has increased significantly since his first year. However, his hyperthermia will be as equally severe so he still needs to use his ability with care!
Physical Description: Eye Colour: Blue Hair Colour/Style: Blonde (Flaxen); His hair is straight and to his shoulders. It's most often seen drawn into a short sprigtail in the back of his head. If his ponytail is removed, there's a gentle wave where the hair tie has been taken out. Skin Colour: Palish blue (Think of a drowned man!) Build: Skin (and bones); long, gangly limbs Height: 6'2" Clothing Style/Colours: Fuaire isn't too picky about his clothing. He tends to not wear much because he can't really feel anything anymore (freezing to death seems to do that to a dudebro). However, he likes loose-fitting garments; you will almost never see him without his patchwork cloak. He doesn't really remember why he loves it so much, but don't expect him to take it off anytime soon. In terms of colors, he seems to gravitate towards the cooler end of the spectrum: blues, greys and black. Fuaire would never be caught dead in anything bright and sunny; no red or yellow for him! Regardless of what he wears, though, he almost never wears shoes -- if your feet were bloated from drowning, you wouldn't want your toes constricted either. Extra: Fuaire has a very light dusting of freckles across his nose. Besides the parts of him that the fish nibbled on (exposing his bones and tissue in places) there's not too much to report; however, he does have a sizable head wound by his hairline...He also has two tattoos on his upper body (see references, they're a bit hard to describe).
Also, his skin has one unusual property: touching it gives one the same effect as brushing up against dry ice. Handle with care! References: Coming soon! :> Thank you for your patience~

Frez Drah: Hatred from the Deep What is a Frez Drah? Strictly speaking, a Frez Drah is an undead entity that must be created; one cannot be turned into a Frez Drah nor can a Frez Drah turn others.
A Frez Drah is created when someone dies (naturally or murdered) by drowning in freezing cold water. Whether the death comes from the hypothermia or suffocation does not matter. However, what anchors the person to the world is a deep-set hatred held for someone who betrayed them in their former life. Should their anger be strong enough, the Frez Drah's hatred seeps into their old body ("container") and allows them mobility once again.
Unlike normal undead -- say, a vampire or a zombie -- Frez Drah absolutely do not need to eat. The only thing that moves and motivates them is the hatred they hold for their betrayer. They work towards the goal of exacting revenge on this individual. However, once they achieve this goal (or let go of their hatred altogether) the Frez Drah is no longer anchored to the world and disappears completely.
Frez Drah also have no heightened abilities. No super-senses like vampires but they also don't have as extreme of a mobility handicap as a zombie might. They more or less resemble humans in appearance and strength; the durability of the container depends heavily on how much damage was sustained at the time of death and how kind the fishes were to the body during submersion.
What do they look like? Frez Drah have the appearance of a drowned hypothermia victim. Blueish lips and skin are defining characteristics as well as bloating, blisters and loss of digits/limbs. Because of exposure to water (whether long or short term) a certain level of decay may also be present: exposed bones, rotted tissues, hair loss. However, unlike a zombie, Frez Drahs do not actively decay as quickly; the cold served as an excellent preservation mechanism for their containers.
Even so, they don't escape decay altogether. If they don't remain in a cold climate, the Frez Drah begins sweating profusely -- even in a climate that other denizens might deem "pleasant." In actuality, the Frez Drah might very well be melting. If exposed to extreme heat for too long of a period of time, the Frez Drah can no longer sustain their container physically (it becomes too much of a strain, even for the hatred) and will melt into a puddle of mercurial liquid. While they can be carried around in a vessel in this taste, they become absolutely useless and vulnerable. The only way for a Frez Drah to repair their container is by submerging their mercurial form into a body of extremely cold water. If no water is nearby, the Frez Drah is confined in their liquid form until water can be obtained.
Behavior? Frez Drahs are EXTREMELY solitary. They have wide territories and generally do not get along with one another. Extremely territorial, you'd best not try to pay a surprise visit to a Frez Drah -- you might very well lose a limb. They don't live in groups or colonies of any kind (you can only have so much hate and rage in one little spot). Generally distrustful of other creatures/people, it takes a lot to even get a Frez Drah to let you near. However, if you manage to "tame" one, you won't find a more loyal creature. That is, if you live long enough to "befriend" one. They're selfish, mean-spirited and will always put themselves and their hatred before those "close" to them.
Diet? Blood and flesh. Pretty straight forward.
