Junko hummed a bit at Seiji's choice of movie, giving a small nod. Labyrinth? If it was what he wanted she'd give it a try. Honestly, she was happy watching any movie with Seiji.

...That was a lie. She was happy watching any movie she was comfortable with, with Seiji. This movie didn't look like one that would make her uncomfortable. "Okay. I've never seen it before." Which really shouldn't be all that surprising if one knew her family. She didn't dwell on it for even a moment, instead cuddling up against Seiji as he carried her while reaching out for the movie in question. She'd try to watch it as best as she could while cuddling with Seiji, wanting to give him all of her attention. The movie in hand, Junko nudged under Seiji's chin with a smile. "Got it~." She'd carry it, she was already carrying everything else.

"While you may have a point, I still deem it unfair that I have to carry everything." Because him carrying her totally didn't mean he was carrying everything she was carrying. Nope. It totally didn't. Junko closed her eyes, hugging the pillow, blanket and movie to her chest. This would be nice. She enjoyed watching movies with boils who..liked her...

She tried not to frown at the thought. For some reason every time she remembered that it bothered her more and more.

Holding her effortlessly in his arms, he waited for her to find the movie on his shelf and pull it from the row, tipping his head up as she tucked her's up under his chin. "I think you'll like it." He also had a feeling they were going to have to watch it a few times before she'd seen it all, considering how little the pair of them payed attention to anything else when in each others company.

"And how is that unfair?" He pressed his chin down into the top of her head, rubbing back and forth. "I'm the one doing all the work here." Not that carrying her was much work.

Shifting the ghoul in his arms he made his way over to the old recliner, plopping down into it when her in his lap. Relaxing back into the soft cushions before frowning. They hadn't put the movie in yet. "I got it." Plucking the movie from her fingers her stood again, settled her on the chair with her arm load of pillows, then crossed the room to mess with the DVD player. Removing the movie that had been in there and replacing it with the one in the case.

"There's a really good sound track to this movie." Scareling movie or not, the boil still enjoyed it. It didn't quite fit with the bad boil image, but that was fine. He dared anyone to comment on it.

"Just is." Junko chirped, grinning and hugging the items in her arms tightly against her. Suuuure. Use the excuse of carrying her as his argument. She was onto him! She merely cuddled against him as he settled down on the seat, squealing at the way he just flopped down into the chair. Hey! Hey! He was still holding her! Careful, man! She didn't even seem to care that the movie wasn't put into the player yet, or if she did care she just didn't notice. They were seated and that meant it was time to get comfortable and situated, blankets and pillows and all.

But then Seiji was taking the movie from her and getting up. Junko whined and pouted up at him as he left her, tucking a pillow behind her head and unfolding the blanket to drape it across her lap and the arms of the chair. If he insisted on starting the movie she wasn't going to stop him. It was why they were here, after all. She snuggled into the chair, pulling the blanket up to her chin and shrugging underneath it. All comfy! "Oh? What's it about?" Junko tilted her head to one side, scooting over as much as she could so Seiji would have room to squeeze into the chair as well.

Returning to the front of the chair the boil looked down at the ghoul snuggling into the blankets and pillows and smiled, chuckling softly as he dropped to his knees in front of her. Folding his arms across her lap and resting his chin on top of them. Cuteness overload, he was no match for it. "What's it about?" He pressed his lips in a thoughtful line as he rolled his eyes up to the ceiling. "A girl and, a kingdom of goblins and their eccentric king, and a maze." He traced a fingertip along the blanket on her lap. "The girl has to solve the maze to win her baby brother back from the king."

Dark eyes dropped back to her face, warming. "And through out the entire thing the King is trying to stop her from reaching the center." His head lifted as he unfolded his arms, stretching them out to wrap around her waist so he could pull her closer to him. "Because he wants her to stay with him there."

Behind him on the screen there were previews playing for movies that had been released longer ago then his had died, but he payed them little mind. Attention all for the ghoul he was looking up at. When he'd pulled her close enough he pressed his face against the warmth of her stomach, sighing contently before biting the blanket and pulling on it gently. Too many layers.

Ah! He was falling! Did he trip?! Junko squeaked and sat up sharply to lean out and try to catch him as he fell, though it seemed to be a useless effort as he moved to drape over her lap. She reached out to pet his hair, threading her fingers through it while listening to his somewhat vague summary. Okay, it was a fine summary, but still vague! Mean! Though she supposed if he gave her specifics that would ruin the magic of the movie or something. There was a faint frown on her lips when he got to the part about stopping the girl though. Stop her? Why was he trying to stop her? Oh, maybe he was just the villain. That would make sense.

Heat rushed to her cheeks as he pulled her closer and spoke of keeping her. Wait, no. Not her. The girl. The girl in the movie. Keeping her. Not...her. He just liked her...

...He liked her. That was..great.

She glanced up at the sound of movie previews to see what they were. Oh. These were easy to skip! But where was the remote? Junko looked down at Seiji again to ask about it only to find him staring up at her still. She blushed even more, her words catching in her throat before she could get them out. There was a small squeak as she was pulled closer again, her fingers petting and playing with his hair again while his face was nuzzled against her stomach. How adorable! She giggled, massaging the back of Seiji's head until she felt his teeth pulling at the blanket and the shirt underneath. "S-Seiji!" She laughed and tugged at the blanket like she was trying to take something from a playful minipet, sighing quietly once she'd calmed down.

"So...why does he want her to stay with him?" Junko asked quietly, looking down at Seiji with a softened expression. She meant...she meant the goblin king and the girl. That's it.

He growled softly as she gave the blanket a tug, stubbornly keeping his grip for a moment longer before letting her take it from him. Chuckling as he lay his head back on her lap, cheek rubbing against her thigh. Dark eyes drifting shut at the attention she was paying to his hair and the back of his neck. Voice going soft as he answered her question. "Because he's madly, obsessively in love with her." The peaceful smile slipped a little, replaced by something thought.

"Not that it's apparent right away," he added as an after thought, turning his head so his face was buried in the blanket that covered her lap. There was that word again, that silly little four letter word that suddenly held a lot more weight to him then it ever had before.

It was confusing, sort of. Not so much how he felt, he was pretty sure on that aspect; but actually getting the word out. It sat like a lead weight on his tongue whenever he'd come close to expressing his feelings towards her, and any explanation she'd received thus far was terribly inaduquet.

Ignoring the sound if the voices on the tv the boil tightened his arms, breathing deeply so he could draw in the faint scent of jasmine that always clung to the ghoul.

As he growled she paused, raising a brow and trying not to smile or laugh. He just...growled at her while she was trying to take away a blanket? Like a puppy? He was so silly! She was grinning as he nuzzled at her lap, sighing contently. But soon came his answer and she paused, her fingers going still in his hair as she lost her breath for a moment. She'd been asking about the goblin king...why..why he'd wanted the girl to stay. She hadn't been talking about them. She hadn't...okay, so she had. She did. She wanted to know. But it was so hard to tell if he was going along with her implications or simply just answering her questions, somehow finding her breath again as he added onto the answer. Right, he was answering her question about the goblin king. But why did she care so much? The idea of Seiji being the one madly and obsessively in love with her made her heart skip a beat and return with a fluttering pace, looking down at him with a quiet look of panic. She wanted it to be about her. She wanted it so much. Was it? Could it? But how could she find out? There had to be a way...

Junko giggled helplessly as he pulled her in again and buried his face against her, sighing quietly after. Okay, Junko. You can do this. "Does she know he loves her?" She asked with slight caution, hoping the question made sense. It did in her head.

Pressed so very close to her it was hard not to hear, to feel the beat of her pulse. It was a like a soft drum in his head and when it sped he noticed, brows furrowing thoughtfully. Her hands had stilled, her breath had caught in her throat, and all because of... what? The summery of the movie? That couldn't possibly be right. Breathing out slowly he thought back over the evening, everything they'd done, everything they'd said, and tried to pinpoint exactly when her mood had shifted. And it had shifted, ever so slightly. He'd noticed, but having no clue as to the reason, wasn't sure what to do about it.

Really though, looking back it hadn't been hard to see where he'd misspoken, and her eager questions on the plot, the subtle changes to breath and pulse.. Jack damnit. It was hard for a person's shoulders to round when their arms were currently curled around someone, but he managed.

"No she doesn't, not at first." His lifted his head and let himself fall back from the chair, pulling her with him so they ended with him flat and her sitting on his stomach still wrapped in her blanket. Large hands coming to rest on her slender waist. "Because the goblin king is bit of an idiot and doesn't know how to go about showing or telling her."

Junko was watching him intently, trying to find some kind of reaction to watch for. An answer, a movement, a smile...anything. But she didn't get any of that, just a shift in the posture of his shoulders. What did that mean? She continued to watch him, waiting for his answer. A sign. Anything.

Words worked! But they were confusing. Did he mean himself or the Goblin King? Maybe these questions were a bad idea. She needed something more direct, maybe. Was there some kind of gene in boils that kept them from understanding things like this? She almost frowned until she was pulled out of the chair, giving a small cry of surprise and trying to cling to Seiji through and around the blanket. All she managed to do was fall on top of him with her hands on either side of his head, staring down at him with wide eyes.

"...The Goblin King is an idiot." Junko pouted, sitting up properly on his stomach. "Maybe she loves him back, though. But she doesn't think he loves her so she isn't sure what to do about it...and she's scared if she admits to it someone...from his mysterious unknown past will come up and take him away from her..." She frowned, trying to figure out if that made any sense. Did it? She hoped it did. He liked her...did he love her? She had no idea. And now there was this other ghoul popping up, and he was saying he knew her before school...and he missed her...

It was somewhat worrisome. "And maybe it hurts a little to love someone who just...says they like you." The last part was mumbled, tugging on the blanket to she could wrap it around herself with it draped over her shoulders, looking up at the skelevision. A man was on the screen now speaking to the ghoul of the movie, she had to assume this was the Goblin King. Junko fell quiet for now, resting her hands on Seiji's chest to support herself. That last one sounded a bit too serious, and it deviated from their conversation about...the movie. Yes, the movie. Oops. Junko blushed and looked down at Seiji again. "I-I'm sorry. SO! Um...I like his hair." She commented lamely, blushing even more after saying it. Wow...really, Junko? Really? Though it shouldn't seem too far off for her. He did have a lot of hair.

His thumbs worked gently along her sides as he looked up at her, frowning gently at the pout that had replaced the smile from before. Chest raising and falling in a heavy sigh. They weren't talking about the movie anymore, he'd grasped that much, and with every unhappy point the ghoul above him made he could feel his insides twisting tighter. Jack, he really screwed up, no wonder she'd been acting so oddly the last forty minutes or so. Even as she tried to play it off as nothing, turning her attention back to the movie. "He is an idiot," he agreed softly, reaching up so he could cup her cheeks and coax her closer to him.

And of course Aislin would come up, but that was okay. He'd been wanting to talk to her about that anyways, but first.. "Junko." Grey fingers left the warmth of her cheek so he could tuck a dark tendril of hair behind the curve of her ear and away from bright eyes, bright as emeralds. "I'm so sorry." That small slip of tongue, so seemingly harmless, had caused her so much worry. Did he really deserve her?

He didn't think so, never truly had, and perhaps that was why the truth stuck so stubbornly to his tongue. He wanted to keep her, claim her as his and his alone. It was terribly selfish..

So he would be selfish.

He lifted his head from the floor, then his shoulders, sitting up to sit meditation style with her in his lap, wonderful legs curled loose around his waist. He pulled her closer, head tilting so he could steal a chaste brush of lips before drawing back enough to whisper three little words against that unhappy little pout. "I love you."

She felt the sigh under her hands and looked down to see what was the matter. Oh, no! Did she upset him? She didn't mean for that! It'd just slipped out! Honest! Worry crossed over her face as he himself seemed to become unhappy, guilt rising in her chest. Crap. Crapcrapcrap. This was all her fault. If she just hadn't said anything he wouldn't...be...admitting he was an idiot and pulling her down closer to him. Junko blinked, allowing herself to be pulled in close as she just stared down at him. She was confused. Why was he bringing her down? Did he want a kiss? But he seemed unhappy! What was he up to? She stayed quiet as he spoke her name, though her eyes closed as he touched her to move hair behind her ear. It wasn't until he suddenly apologized that they fluttered open and widened. "S-sorry?" Junko chuckled nervously. "What's to be sorry about? Why are you apologizing? You..didn't do anything wrong." She did. She was silly to just assume he loved her.

He liked her...

He..he just liked her.

Junko tried not to frown as he sat up, sliding her hands up to rest on his shoulders and looking straight at him. Her eyes never left his face, they refused to. He had her undivided attention. Even the movie was forgotten for now. Her heart fluttered as he pulled her in close to leave the lightest of kisses against her lips, leaning in to try and catch his lips again until he spoke. Wh-what? Wait! Wait! Did he really just..?! Junko froze, tensing on his lap and just staring. Did he really say that? Really? It wasn't just her imagination? "Really?" Junko breathed out in joyous disbelief, sniffling a little as her vision blurred a little from a few tears. Not a terrible amount, but she was tearing up just a little. He said it! He loved her! Right? He really said it, right? She didn't imagine it?!

"I love you too, Seiji!" She murmured, elation clear even in her hushed voice. She did. She really loved him. He was sweet, he was tolerant, he cared about her, he protected her, he defended her, and he made her want to do things and try things she never thought she'd ever have the courage to accomplish. Like standing up to people. "I love you. I love you. I love you." Junko repeated over and over, cupping his face in her hands to press a soft kiss against his lips with every proclamation

She couldn't see it, not with their faces so damn close, but he smirked at her question, chuckling softly under his breath as she took that brief moment to process what he'd said. Gray fingers sliding back through the warm silk of her hair so he could cup his hand along the nap of her neck. Tipping her head back so he could kiss her chin as she echoed him happily. Watching her face light up through half lidded eyes.

Eyes that widened as she took hold of his cheeks and brought him in for a serious of proclamations, each one punctuated by a quick kiss. He let her get as far as three before tightening his grip on the back of her head so he could hold her against his mouth. Head tipping and lips parting in a bid for something a little deeper, a little more intimate, but still gentle, still patient. Clawed thumb running feather light along the dark line of her brow as he let himself sink into her touch, her taste, all of her.

He felt light, almost weightless with the confession. Unsure now just why it had been so jack damn difficult to just say it. He loved her, he'd been falling for her for a while now.

She was so pure though, so innocent and adorable. He didn't want to ruin her or hurt her. Didn't want to take away that shine in her eyes or that lovely smile. Loving her wasn't a promise that everything would be perfect, it wasn't a seal of protection, not a lucky charm. It was nothing but a feeling.

A very large, overwhelming feeling. It made you do stupid things. Things like telling a ghoul link Junko you loved them, when you were half positive it was a bad idea, and you didn't deserve her.

She would have kept on going for who knows how long if he hadn't stopped her, though there were no protests at all against this kiss. In fact Junko leaned in to return the kiss, her arms drifting down to hug him around his neck and cling to him. He said it. He actually said it. He loved her, and she believed it. He had to love her, he just had to. It couldn't be a lie or an exaggeration. Who said they loved someone when they didn't? That was just messed up. But he loved her, and she loved him so much. She didn't even care that her hair was twitching violently in its tight, tight hold.

Junko's fingers threaded through his hair against the back of his head, her other hand sliding back to tightly grip his shoulder as he held her close. She didn't deserve him; he was too good for her. He was funny, he was kind, generous, sweet, and he doted on her far too much. Not that she was complaining about that, she just didn't feel she was worth that. She was just a little futakuchi-onna ghoul with no money and an abusive second mouth and very little 'street sense', but he loved her anyway. The thought made her heart clench and race to the point where it felt like it was going to actually burst from her chest.

The kiss was paused long enough for her to murmur an apology against his lips before she caught his lips again, making the happiest little noise. The apology was for being such a brat and guilting him about his difficulty to tell her he loved her. Though if she'd kept her mouth shut he never would've said it, huh? There was still that problem, though. The one she had mentioned before that had been plaguing her mind since she read their conversation on groanspring. That other ghoul...they had a history...what if she tried to take Seiji away from her?

It was great reluctance and regret that she finally ended the kiss, panting ever so lightly to get her breath back as she leaned in to brush her lips against his. "I don't deserve you." She chuckled breathlessly, pressing her cheek against his and closing her eyes. The movie was still going in the background, and she could hear the beginnings of a song apparently being sung..something about a babe, but she didn't pay it any mind for now. It was a movie. They could watch it again later.
PostPosted: Sat Jul 09, 2011 5:22 pm

She apologized, and he would have told to her to stop being silly if she hadn't caught his mouth a second after and driven the thought from his mind with the sweet pressure of her lips on his. Delicate fingers at the back of his head making him shiver. His own dark fingers slipping away from her cheek to trace down the line of her throat as they wandered lower until finally settling at the small of her back and pulling her in tighter against him. If they kept kissing like that.. Even with everything else that had happened that evening..

Thankfully, or perhaps woefully, she drew away from him and left him bewildered and blinking. Mind struggling to catch up as she brushed a chaste kiss along his mouth and relearned how to breath. Expressing gentle doubts that had just swept through his own mind, though quite obviously reversed. He frowned at her as she leaned in the rest her cheek to his, human hand smoothing through hair as he hugged her closer. How could she possibly think that? "You're wrong." He whispered, breath warm against her ear even is his skin was cool to the touch.

Was she really wrong? She didn't think so. She hid things from him, she didn't realize the do's and don'ts of dating such as 'GO TO HIM FIRST WHEN YOU ARE UPSET DO IT DO IT NOW HE WILL COMFORT YOU', she accidentally ruined his friendship with someone--albeit that someone was a massive b***h--and he had to put up with Her. And her overexcited minipets, and her insecurities, and her naivety, and just...she didn't think she deserved him. But she didn't want to let him go, she didn't want anyone else to have him. She wanted him. Junko pouted quietly, believing she was right. She didn't deserve someone so tolerant, so understanding. No way...

...Did she? With all the crap she put up with...maybe she did? She held him tightly, kissing his cheek and leaning back enough to see his face. She held a look of somewhat amused disbelief on her face, her brow raised as she gave a soft chuckle. "If you say so..." She sighed, cupping his cheek with one hand and rubbing her thumb over it for a moment. "So..." Junko blushed again, smiling nervously now. "You..you really love me? Like love me?" She loved Tomoko and Jove and Riley and Yaya and Nuk and Shehk and the list went on and on, but those were a different kind of love than what she felt with Seiji. Junko just...suddenly felt the need to be sure. They'd only been together so long, it wasn't anything like whatever he'd probably had in the past with...that ghoul. The one he said he'd been worried about and had missed.

That bothered her for some reason. Jealousy was rearing its ugly green head now and she was doing her best not to show it, and so far had mostly succeeded! Mostly, anyway. She was scared, though. First the thing with Sarias, now this ghoul was showing up...what if they had a history? Wh-what if he suddenly wanted to rekindle something with her and in doing so left Junko? N-no! He couldn't! Not after all this! There was no way...
