xxxxxxxxstraight at you. You stumble backwards with a shriek, and the other person cackles. It turns out the person is
xxxxxxxxjust a boy... with a ridiculous V-shaped thing on his head and an almost maniacal grin on his mouth.
xxxxxxxx"YOU!" He cries, thrusting a finger towards you as you look around to see if he's talking about someone else,
xxxxxxxx"YOU SHALL BE MY NEW MINION!"
Nicanor plans to roam around the thread pretty frequently. If you'd like to RP with him (in-thread or otherwise), feel free to throw someone at him when he's out and about, or just send me a PM! But here are a few things you should keep in mind:
Nicanor's personality is obnoxious, in a word. He'll arbitrarily abuse italics and caps -- especially caps. If this ends up grating on your nerves, you can always request I tone it down!
No matter what your character says, as soon as Nicanor sees him/her and thinks they can be in any way useful, he will mark them as a minion and give them a number. And he will use that number instead of their name. He'll persist with this even if they tell him to get lost (or any variation thereof).
I'll be keeping track of his minion list here, so if you do want to make sure of your character's minion number, this is the place to check. :'D
Please be aware of his budding powers and traits!

Personality: Arrogant and selfish, Nicanor prides himself on being quite the tiny terror. Perhaps his most redeeming quality would be his unyielding determination, if only it could be spent on anything other than his own goals, none of which ever seem to benefit anyone else. Before he was captured, Nicanor's dream was to conquer Unova; now, he dreams of conquering the Asylum instead. He's willfully ignorant of almost anything that doesn't fit into his plans, but at least that means he takes the Asylum and all its oddities in stride.
Voice: Shrill and very, very loud. His speech is at times surprisingly eloquent, hinting at a good vocabulary, but it's mostly full of odd insults and commands.
Brief History: Nicanor grew up in Unova's Liberty Garden. He claims to have commandeered it from the Victini who previously resided there, but it is more likely he came upon the garden after said Victini had left to join a young Trainer, and was then cared for by a woman tending to the area in its absence. How he even reached the garden is questionable -- he doesn't remember, exactly -- but it is clear Nicanor was not born in Unova, as his humanoid form appears to be the only one he's ever known. It hardly hampered his caretaker's affection for him, though; for years, the woman spoiled Nicanor rotten. Perhaps his growing collection of toys and growing desire for more led him to plotting to take all of Unova for himself... and perhaps his public speeches to Castelia City made him such an easy target for the Asylum.
Powers: (This section is hypothetical until his powers are approved)
Confusion - A weak telekinetic force. Nicanor uses Confusion on his carpet while standing on it to make it levitate a couple of inches above the ground, but only for a few seconds, at most -- as he is now, repeated uses of Confusion give him headaches.
Incinerate - Currently, Nicanor can only cloak one hand (his left) in fire, and very briefly. Creating fire is less tiring than using Confusion, but he can only produce a fistful of flames at once.
Traits:
Victory Star - Nicanor's whole body seems to radiate energy. A small amount is shared (sometimes unwillingly) with whomever he touches. It does not actually heal wounds, but slightly increases vigor and may even sharpen senses for a short period of time. Right now, it feels rather like a warm shot of caffeine.
Flight - Light enough to fly with his butt wings tails.
Fever Pitch - Resistant to heat. His body temperature constantly feels like he's running a fever, and it grows even hotter when he creates fire.
Water Weakness - Has an increased vulnerability to water attacks.
Partial Earth Weakness - Has an increased vulnerability to attacks that draw upon rocks or soil, but is strong against moves that draw upon grass or plants.
Lygophobia - Has an increased vulnerability to attacks that draw upon darkness or shadows. Nicanor tries to use his fire's light to counter this.
RP Colors: Tangerine for thoughts and dialogue, straw yellow and akaroa for emphasis.

Frequently points at people/things, usually as a precursor to prodding them. He has a tendency to be very physical, which inadvertently triggers his Victory Star ability.
Talents/Skills:
Has an excellent singing voice. Claims this has absolutely nothing to do with his collection of Disney movies.
Acrobatic. He can perform stunts like somersaults and backflips with relative ease.
Has some budding skill with cooking. He can't make anything complicated, and his caretaker certainly didn't trust him enough with the stove, but what he does know how to cook tastes surprisingly good.

Nicanor arrived in Unova wearing these clothes. He claims they're just street rags, but he's quite fond of them, finding them resilient and comfortable to move in. His left sleeve is marked with various symbols that apparently have some kind of importance, other than marking the arm he uses to conjure fire.

 Magic Carpet (???)
A (magic?) carpet, one remnant of Nicanor's playroom in Liberty Garden. It is very thick and heavy; Nicanor usually leaves it in his room, but when he carries it with him, he's forced to drag it across the floor. It is supposedly capable of flight, but Nicanor's telekinetic abilities (very briefly) sustain its levitation.
Has no special effects.
Does not increase any stats.
 Victory Stone (Accessory)
A necklace sculpted out of a smooth, orange stone, supported by a silver string. Like Nicanor himself, the stone is constantly hot to the touch. It may actually be a Fire Stone, capable of evolving certain Pokemon, but Nicanor is far too protective of it to allow it to be used for such purposes.
Resistant to heat.

Fighting Style: Nicanor uses Brawler tactics. He is an aggressive, close-range battler, quick to burn out his energy throwing flame-fisted punches, and too overconfident to take advantage of his small size. He's still young, so he isn't very strong -- but he's incredibly tenacious and unlikely to back down from any fight.
Trivia:
Nicanor's personality (and even the way I draw him!) is heavily influenced by Laharl, the protagonist of Disgaea: Hour of Darkness. But when he flies with his tails, he looks like... well, Tails.
His favorite move is Aladdin.
