Okay.. so it was a crappy reason to transform. Had anyone else seen him he probably would have gotten a few choice words for choosing such a ridiculous and selfish reason to don his pagely duds. But he was hot darn it!
Summer was sweeping in slowly but surely and it was the first night of the year to remain stubbornly in the warm temperatures of the day. And after a night of hustling and bustling around cleaning up the arcade.. ughhh.. He was so so hot.
So on this particularly warm summer night the page of the Cosmos lounged across a park bench mildly, dipping his fingers into his 'weapon' before splashing the water onto his own face. Maybe he'd been going about this wrong the whole time. Instead of throwing water harmlessly at people maybe he just focus on using it on himself. Wake himself up.. cool himself down.
He closed his eyes, letting tiniest hints of air movement attract to the water dripping from his cheeks and bangs. He shouldn't hang around long.. less one of those monsters show up.. or some person might come along and question his sanity for the get up. But maybe just a little bit longer..

"That's quite a get-up you got there, kiddo."
Bimini had thought too soon. Someone had crept up to do one of the very things he was hoping to avoid, somehow without even making a sound! Kurma stood in the grass behind the bench, leaning over with a muted joviality at the page with his water bowl, hands at his hip and his curious glowing orb left to rest and collect dew on the ground beside him. "You look like you'd fit right in at Cosmo's place, don't see that every day. What are you doing out here?"

There was a very visible stiffening of his body, lips parting into an expression that clearly resembled that of a naughty child caught with his hand in a cookie jar as it became apparent he wasn't alone. Maybe it had been the word 'kiddo' that had dredged up the sudden childishness, if anything he was used to being taunted for being 'old' by Talia and some of the other arcade patrons. But regardless he blinked, starring up at the mysterious face for a brief moment before he began to laugh nervously.
Despite the fact that he'd appeared from absolutely nowhere.. and that most people he'd run into as of late had been.. less then friendly.. he had no inclination to fear at the moment. A little guilty maybe, amused at his bad luck definately, but fear no.
The word Cosmos sent off alarm bells in his head, suddenly trying to get a better glance over his shoulder at who exactly he was talking to. It wasn't as easily said as it was done with the other guy hovering there behind him, but he was able to make out enough that his clothing didn't look entirely normal. "You know about that Cosmos?" Okay.. badly put. Way too vague.. technically everyone knew about the cosmos.. but not in the way he was asking.
A hand was lifted above his head, was he offering a handshake? "Bimini, page of the Cosmos"
"I'm umm.. cooling down?" No real point in lying when you were already caught.

Cooling off?
The smile dropped a bit from Kurma's face at the remark, giving Bimini a look. He had a curious little frown on his face now, brows furrowed a bit, all sorts of baffled at the page's reason for being powered up in at this time and place.
"But... there's already all this water in the air," he remarked, gesturing with both hands at the space around them in reference to the humidity. "Does throwing more all over yourself really help that much? That seems kinda weird." Then he crossed his arms and tilted his head, in an almost childish fashion. As far as he was concerned, Bimini's problem-solving methods weren't making much sense.
"Yeah, I know Cosmos, though. You're saying you work for her?" He accepted the handshake, though he was a little loose and inexperienced-seeming about it. The abstractness of his explanation didn't phase him one bit, however. "Name's Kurma. I guess this means we're coworkers or something, huh."

In response he shrank a little momentarily to the look he received. However the 'lecture' he got was far more loose and.. strange then he'd imagined. Water in the air? He was more confused then he was reprimanded.
"It helped a little.. but I suppose I should have just waited until I got home and in the air conditioning." He agreed nonetheless.
Kurma and coworkers! Did that make the other guy a page of the Cosmos too? Bimini was elated.. and then suddenly very confused. Her.. Kurma was acting as if Cosmos was a person.. a her in fact. Whereas he'd been thinking it was a thing.. a place. Like.. the figurative everywhere and everything.
He didn't want to feel stupid but at the same time.. his curiousity got the better of him. "Her? There is a person named Cosmos?"

Kurma watched Bimini as he gave his reply, and responded to it by giving him a slow, approving nod. Indeed, the miracle of central air conditioning was always the better solution for being overheated. If there were two things Earth could have made itself known for elsewhere in the universe... they were 24-hour diners, and indoor climate control.
"Yeah, Sailor Cosmos?" The older man brightened a bit, more eager to make conversation than he was disappointed, apparently. "I help her keep an eye on the flow of things... we travel around a lot, share knowledge, try to figure out what's what sometimes. Kinda grounded for the moment, though." Kurma gave a shrug at that, gesturing vaguely at their surroundings. "So, what do you do? When you're not cooling off, I mean."

Sailor Cosmos? Like Sailor Vulcan? Except one that he was supposed to work for? Why had nobody told him that kind of thing? If he'd known that in the first place well.. maybe he wouldn't have been running around like a chicken without his head for so long.
His interest was obviously perked as he listened to what it was that Kurma did. Travel, keep an eye on things, share knowledge, and figure things out? It was cryptic. Cryptically cool however.
At the question he cocked his head a little. What DID he do? "Ummm.. mostly I run an arcade. But sometimes I kill some of those monster things.. if I see them trying to take a bite out of people."

Kurma had no idea what an 'arcade' was. Nonetheless, he kept his little smirk, nodding in seeming approval as Bimini described his duties. "Yeah, that's good. You fight, then? That seems to be a Knight thing. Probably good we're covering all our bases with that, since there's different evils out there too." He rested his hands over the back of the bench, contemplating.
"You checked out your place yet?" he asked. "Not that arcade thing, but Bimini." Scratching his head, he mused a little further, "It sounds a little familiar, now that I think about it. Some kind of water place, right?"

"Mmmm.. I'd rather not fight. But I do it when I have to" He nodded softly to the question. Really it had only been a recent development.. but fighting was better then running away like a baby and not accomplishing anything. Still though.. not his cup of tea.. not at all.
His head quirked sideways at the next comment, a strange hybrid of confusion and then curiousity touching his face. "The fountain of youth?" Had he been there? Of course not!
Laughing a little he rubbed his head thoughtfully. "People have been looking for that place forever without much luck, I can't imagine where I'd even start to look" Really it was a fairytale wasn't it? Not a real place.
"Would be really cool though." He mused, tapping the water in his bowl mildly with a finger. Cool and a total cash cow.

"I guess people on Earth coulda been looking for it for a while," pondered Kurma as he rapped his fingers against the bench. The sound was entertaining enough to him that it persisted for a while. "Sounds kind of silly they'd be trying, though. I mean, Bimini's nowhere near Earth."
He chuckled at the thought. Where would Earthlings even be looking? Did they just randomly trawl around the whole planet in search of clues? It was a mystery in and of itself they came up with the idea that it was on Earth in the first place. Maybe it was just a habit they had. He had come across things in his lifetime that were just as strange, anyway.
"I'm no expert on how Knights get around," he admitted. "But it's your place, so you should be able to find a way there. If not, track me down and we can figure something out."

Bimini's nowhere near Earth
The words sounded in his ears, repeating once or twice before the actual thought processed. He made it sound like it was real thing.. and.. not on earth? Woah....
It was a big thing to grasp and along with the other revelations of the night. Cosmos being a girl.
Watching the strange man curiously for a moment, he nodded finally, shifting in his seat. "I think I will go." He stated matter of factly.
The search for the fountain of youth had begun.
Well maybe not RIGHT now.. he was actually kind of tired.. and he had to open the arcade early in the morning. But in a more figurative sense it had begun.
"Thanks Kurma" He grinned as he stood up from the bench. "I'll catch you some other time then?"

"Anytime we cross paths," Kurma agreed. "Track me down and tell me what the place is like after you've found it. If I've been there before, I can't remember how it looked at all." Then he gave Bimini a wave, and turned around to float away from the bench and elsewhere. He was looking forward to getting to know this Cosmos Knight more -- but he had learned, albeit perhaps not very well, that there was value in knowing when a meeting should be broken off.
"Good luck, kid. Though I doubt you need it, really."
