Zirconia was not 'patrolling' as she'd correct anyone who happened to spot her, but after all the ordeals she'd gone through at camp, she just decided to find a nice perch in the city and sit there and watch the comings and goings. She was so relieved to be back in the city; 'Forest cat' was definitely a misnomer. She belonged in an urban setting through and through.

She moved in a little circle on the vacant rooftop before sitting down and watching the cars move on the street beneath, getting bored, and moving in her little circle again.

At least until she sensed a senshi nearby and groaned. It wasn't one of hers, so she wasn't sure she wanted to talk to them, and just sort of sat there, waiting for them to either pass, or recognize her.

On the other hand, Sailor Maenalus was definitely patrolling. Half of the time she'd have a friend along with her and it seemed the other half of the time she'd make a new friend. And the other half of the time nothing much happened at all. Wait...

As she walked, she hugged walls and shadows to avoid being seen. There wasn't much activity on the streets at this time of night, but it was still easier to hide than to run or try to explain. It was only when she sensed some kind of energy that she looked up from the pebble she had been kicking relentlessly. Hmm... Not chaos energy. That was a good sign. Not a senshi, she was too familiar with how they felt.

Maenalus got closer and closer until it seemed like she'd be standing right on top of whoever it was. And as soon as she looked up saw the purple cat did she realize what it had been. Oh. Duh. It seemed ********* was the only cat she could recognize at a distance, probably because she was the one who awakened her, but she also felt that she knew this cat from somewhere.

"Didn't I see you at Camp?" She blinked her big blue's up at the guardian, and while the question had been somewhat to herself, the cat would be free to answer.

Zirconia was going to keep watching cars and ignore the White Moon signature as it passed, but when it asked her if they saw each other at camp, the large forest cat turned her gaze to focus on the senshi.

She stared for a long moment, tilting her head as her thinking intensified and then finally concluded, "You were fighting with Valhalla and Babylon."

Then her brow furrowed and she made her way down, jumping from window ledges to fire escapes and finally to the top of a garbage can. "How do you know them?" She asked with her usual initial suspicion of everyone.

Maenalus' confused expression slightly shifted to a smile and she nodded. "Mmhmm! They were pretty good fighters." Well, Valhalla was good. Babylon was... endearing? He had saved her skin a couple of times, though. For that she was grateful. She watched as the cat nimbly made her way closer. She was surprised at the hint of suspicion in the cat's voice. The funny thing was, she was used to a cat's voice. "I only met them at the fight." Her brows furrowed. "Have you seen them since? Are they alright?" She would hate for anything bad to happen to them. Or Ganymede or anyone she fought alongside. Well. Save for any Negaverse agents...

She was frankly a little surprised at the cat's reaction to her. Hadn't she and Valhalla been responsible for saving the cat from one of the swamp monsters? She wasn't offended, however. Just because they were fighting the same fight on the same side didn't mean that everyone had to be best friends or even get along. She also could understand the element of distrust with someone you had just met. That's probably where the cat was coming from, right?

"I'm Maenalus. The senshi of mountains." She introduced herself with the hopes of maybe putting the cat more at ease. If that didn't work, some pets and scratches would, right? Well... maybe not.

"Yes, they're fine," Zirconia stated, even though it was more or less a lie. But just a tiny lie. Valhalla was easier to keep tabs on because of his civ connections with her, and she was also fairly certain that if Babylon had been damaged too horribly she would've heard it through the grapevine.

She made a mental note to stay on top of Babylon more.

"Ah, mountains..." She mumbled, committing the name and sphere to memory.

She stood up straight and puffed her little chest out with pride. "I am Zirconia, guardian of the Black Moon," She introduced. Even after all this time she still had that stubborn refusal to drop that title. "What were you doing at the camp?"

Maenalus felt a twinge of relief that her old fighting buddies were unharmed. Of course Babylon was, as she'd just gone camping with his civilian alter-ego a little while before. She wasn't aware of his secret, though, and the same could be said for him of her life as a senshi.

"It's nice to meet you, Zirconia." If Zirconia was a senshi Maenalus would have offered her hand for a shake. If she had been *********, Maenalus would have given her pets and scratches. Zirconia didn't seem to be the kind who would take kindly to that. Nor would she probably like hearing that Maenalus had no clue who or what the Black Moon was or involved. She knew she was a part of the White moon. Did that make Zirconia evil? She stared at the cat. Nah, couldn't be. There was no chaos energy in the area and she was friends with knights. She just let her limited knowledge drop instead of possibly attacking a point of pride for the cat.

"Well, I was working there because I thought it was a normal summer camp." Her gaze fell to the ground. "I didn't know that there were any Negaverse agents. I didn't even know that I was being drained of energy at night..." She gave Zirconia a funny look. "What were you doing there?"

"Well that's a touch incompetent," Zirconia snorted at the mention of being drained of energy without her knowledge. Not that she wouldn't have been any better if she were in civilian form.

"I was also working in the area," She said, absentmindedly going to grooming as she spoke. "I'm usually around. I'm very good at disguises." Like shifting species good. But she wasn't going to reveal all her secrets right now.

"What are your affiliations, Maenalus?" She asked curiously. "Do you pledge allegiance to a royal? Do you have a team?" It was probably best to know who she was talking to a little better before getting into any kind of telling conversation.
