It was abandoned. A single blue booth stood very much alone in the festival, just in a small clearing, all on it's own. It looked like it had been recently used, and the door was slightly a jar. A few windows were cracked, but for the most part it didn't look broken. The banner up top read in large lettering: xoq ʎƃooq You notice Desu-chan make her way over to the box and close the door. No noise is made, but you soon watch as a very horrified Desu-chan bursts forth from the booth and is running back into the festival. The door slams itself shut and a low fog rolls in around it. The lettering of the box lights up and a ringing can be heard. Dare you try to answer it's call?

What? You actually want to pick up that phone call? Well if you insist...
The box's handle seems to have a sort of number dial on it. If you get the right number it should open up. Problem is that the dial flips numbers at random. And if you try more then once in a certain amount of time, the door seems to only seal itself harder. The door is closed. The door is unbreakable. The door feels like it is watching you, judging you-
No wait that is just your peer group.
But the ringing door is a siren's call. Just who is calling it. And more importantly...what the heck is it doing here?
((OOC: *The door is closed, and the phone inside is constantly ringing. In order to get inside, Role-Play out your student attempting to decode their way into the box. *Roll a single D100 in your second post. If they get a 1, 2, 3, 25, 30, 50, 69, 75, 99, or 100, they may enter the box in your third post. *RP them out in the box answering the phone. Who is on the other line? Silence. until the coin slot does spit out a Florestival seed at you. *But...you get the feeling you need to leave the box. NOW. ASAP. When your student exists the box, the door slams shut rather quickly. *If you manage to gain a seed, Post in bold dark blue font up top, 'The Box is Broken' along with your mini account username. * Are their other Mysteries of the box? Perhaps....Desu-chan certainly seemed adverse to it. * You can try to enter the box ONCE PER DAY, each day resets at 12 am PST. * If someone else is in the box you may still try to enter...and succeed. The box is magical like that.
For clarification: Post one- Approach box Post Twp- Attempt to get in (roll here) Post three- Reaction to roll *clarification added at 9 PST Tuesday all rolls made prior are exempt, all following will need to follow the RP structure. It's ORP to encourage RP not just get seeds! D: ))

The Box is BrokensatanCarmine had seen the mysterious blue box from a long ways off and wasn't quite sure why it was there. Upon closer inspection he found that there was a phone inside the silly box and it was ringing. He wasn't sure why, but he HAD to answer it. Carmine spins the number dial on the handle randomly, enjoying the ticking noises it makes as it goes past the various numbers. Once he was done playing he gave the handle a try, and to his astonishment, it worked! Once inside the box, Carmine plucked the phone off the receiver and called "Hello?" into it. No answer. He blinked a few times wondering why somebody would call a phone and then not say anything when it was picked up, but this thought was quickly ignored when a shiny seed came out of the coin slot on the phone. Carmine dropped the phone, grabbed the seed and gleefully dashed out of the booth. Shinies were WAY more important and exciting than a phone!

Riley had to check her own phone to make sure the ringing wasn't coming from there. When she finally located the source of the ringing, it was simply a matter of attempting to open the box.
This attempt failed. Miserably. The ringing was annoying enough, without the added frustration of not being able to do anything about it. It looked rather easy, the decoding method. Deceptively easy, in fact.
So easy, she couldn't manage it.
The box could go to heaven, for all Riley cared. She was off to acquire more Cephalatos.

Should he try to answer it, or not? It didn't look as if anyone else was going to make an attempt, and even though Rykier could care less about doing a duty that was really up to the person who had to answer the phone, he couldn't let it go on ringing forever. Not unless he wanted a ringing headache anyway.
Shrugging his shoulders, the hippogryph made his way over to the booth and attempted to enter by using the simple looking dial. Nothing. Not even a budge. Actually, maybe there a budge, or more like a pull as the booth seemed to tighten up, as if denying him entry.
Growling, Ry tried again, only to be denied again, and again and again...
"Forget this!"

Acheron shook himself irritably, flicking his ear. He's got rid of all the water trapped in there - so why on earth was he still hearing a ringing noise? His spines twitched lightly, reflecting his grumpy mood. He'd assumed the ringing was from the water - or whatever noise it was (he'd decided that ringing would do for now, until he figured it out - it sounded like ringing, but there was definitely something odd about it...), but it seemed now it wasn't - especially as some of the other student (or guests, like himself) could hear it too.
And then he saw the box. This is where that infernal ringing was. Marching up to the door, he angrily turned the handle - only to discover it wouldn't turn. Muttering something distinctly uncomplementary under his breath, he stalked off to do something else. Far away from that annoying ringing.

Mo was looking down at her notebook when she noticed a blue box. She walked towards it when she heard a ringing coming from the box. Mo pushed at the door but it didn't budge she tried to pull at the door. "Huh that is odd" she mumbled to her self as she followed her hand around the box. Knocking randomly for a trap do then she tried the door again nothing. "What in Jack is going on?" she mumbled to herself again walking away glancing back sometimes.

Levia had been in the midst of pursuit, having spent the better part of her morning following a very determined caterpillar. She was convinced that the creature had some hidden agenda and was determined to discover what it was. Why else would such a thing wander away from all the festivities that had been erected?
The ringing caught her attention, her single-minded focus difficult to pull away. The mystery of a giant blue box was simply too tempting to resist for long, however, and the undead girl stood upright and circled the strange foundation.
She reached out for the door handle, curiosity flaming throughout her, and gave it a pull. When it didn't so much as budge, she stared blankly at it in silence, her eyes slowly shifting back towards the caterpillar. She would have to explore this box again tomorrow, but for now there were more pressing matters to attend.

Ulmuka approached the strange blue box. He tilted his head to the side, partly in confusion and partly to help him read the upside down sign. Just the appearance of the thing made the strix teen giggle.
"It's ringing.." He clacked his teeth a bit in thought. "I wonder if it's for.." He glanced around but didn't seem to see anyone expecting a phone call. With a shrug he approached and made an attempt to get inside of the thing.
Unfortunately his talons just couldn't getthe right sequence. Maybe the phone call was for someone else. Someone who had the proper code, obviously!

The dragon's tail twitched with a snap. His eyes narrowed, glancing in the direction of the blue box. What was that ringing, and why wasn't it stopping? The sound of a phone ringing, ringing, ringing, would someone answer that phone?!
His arms crossed, gaze shifting among whoever was nearby, wasn't someone going to answer that? No one? Fine. A snort, Sheridan stepped toward the booth. He tried the door, nothing. Jack, that sound was getting annoying.
He shook his head, if he couldn't stop it, then he was going to go far enough away that he could no longer hear it.

There was an extraordinary skellyphone box. It was bright blue, which was one of Pickles's favorite colors He had at least 11. Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Purple (in all their various shades). Octarine, of course, Badious, and then the Imaginary Colors, like Magenta. He was understandably allured by the box. At the very top was upside-down writing, and a glowy bit. And it was ringing. Ringing!
Pickles hurried to the door. Which was stuck. He held onto his hat with one hand, and tugged with the other. Then tugged with both hands. Then tugged with both feet, until the force tumbled him backwards in a pile of robes and squeaking. The door remained decidedly shut. This required heavier artillery.
With a flash, his chainsaw appeared and growled in red, shining excitement. He held it high above his head, widening his stance and ready to cut the entire booth into ribbons. He swung. The blade of the chainsaw mowed straight towards...a number pad. Oh!
He lowered the chainsaw, then with great dignity and aplomb, commenced to press every button.
The door registered a single, incorrect set of digits, and remained unbudged.

The Hellhound sometimes hated his sensitive hearing, as his ears listened to the high pitched ringing sound that assaulted his ears and just
would not
STOP.
Damien just continued to paw at the bright blue door in irritation in hopes that whoever was inside would just wake up and accept the call and end the misery! And yet no one came. well that's fine, he's just go in and answer it himself, and tried to get inside.
Except it had no handle.
If that's the case, he would have to go find some earplugs to deal with the unpleasant sound, in fact, doing that right now sounded like a good idea. anything was better than listening to the racket as he walked off to find some material to stuff in his ears.

This box was a thing of curiosity for Jericho. What was in it? Furrowing his brow, he looked it over while trying to find a way inside. Surely there was something shiny within. At least that was what he was hoping. There was that ringing, and he really wanted to know what that was all about.
However, he couldn't seem to find a way inside. With a huff, the dragon decided to come back later.

"Hello? Helloooo!" Syb said to the box, knocking on the side before trying to open the door. "Well if you're going to ring you should at least open the box so I can answer!" she told it, pouting at the box that refused to open. "I would love to talk to you! Of course Doctor doesn't want me talking on the phone anyway, so this is probably a good thing," she said, her face belying that statement.
"Bye bye, Mr. Phone. I hope you get someone to talk to you!" she called back as she trudged away, saddened.
