Winter was curled into a ball and resting peacefully until she hit the front porch of an amazingly huge mansion. Rubbing the sleep from her eyes, she looked in between the bars of her cage and stared in wonder up at it. It was the largest house she had every seen! And this wasn't her first master. She had had ( gonk ) at least five masters this year alone. None could handle her. But there Winter sat an looked at the door. The guard behind her knocked on the door twice and stepped back behind her cage. She looked down at her chains everyonce andd a while, just to make sure they were still there.

 Daniel looked up as he heard a knock on the door, he shrugged and walked to the door. "hello can i help you with something sirs" he said then looked down. "oh you must be from the market right, well i will take care of it from here. you can remove her from the chain and be on your way" he spoke. He stood back a bit looking at Winter tilting his head waiting for the guards to finish

Winter tilted her head sideways to where her black hair fellamost all to one side. When he guard removed her chains and opened her cage, Winter backed ino the corner. "She's a shy one.." Her guard said apolgetically. The guard squated in front of her cage an coaxed her out. When she got out she stood up and found she was only a few inches smaller than her new master. That surpirsed her a bit, but she just stood there, with no idea what to do, since this had never happened before. Usually her master would order her out and send her off. This... This was new. A small smile came across her lips for a brief secon before going back to her semi-straight line. It was only a hello.. She thought as she waited for what to do next.

Daniel nodded and smiled "thats perfectly alright with me, as long as she like it here thats all that matter" he said gently. He then looked at winter "you can come in you know, i'm not going to hurt you at all" he said moveing to the side so she could enter. "i can give you something to eat, some new cloths and a warm place to sleep in"

Winter smiled and walked towards the door. As she passed her new master she whispered.."Thank you, s-sir.." Her voice chimed like a soft bell, but still had a hint of sweetness tinted in it. Winter looked in awe at the complexcity of just the front room. But yet, at the same time it made her feel like a speack of dirt on a clean floor. So out-of-place. This place was just amazing all together but she stood right at the front in her patch-work dress. Winter had made her small dress about two years ago when her Mistress would give her extra pieces of fabric. It went down to the middle of her thigh now, but it used to go down to her knees.

Daniel smiled as he close the door behind her not saying anything more to the guards. "how about this we get you settled into your room and get you some fresh new clothst. after that we can headed down for dinner"he said gently. He headed for the stairs as she gave his hand out gently "its alright you can take my hand i won't hurt you" he said waiting for her answer and choice

Winter nodded when he meantioned new clothing, a room instead of a mat beside the main bed like she was used to, and a dinner. Winter made sure she kept a hold of the fact that she's still a slave. She whould probably make the dinner but it didn't matter. It was different here. She smiled and said, just a little louder than a whisper, "Thank you so much, sir. You're much nicer than my older masters." She took his hand gently and followed just a little behind him.

Daniel smiled as he headed upstairs holding her hand gently. "don't worry i won't hurt you really." he said walking down the hallway humming a bit. He stopped at a door and let go of winter's hand gently. "well this is your room, fresh new cloths are in the closet to your left. I know it maybe a lot of cloths but i want you to feel comfortable here." he said smileing. "and thank you. i like being different from other masters"

Winter's cheeks became a slight rosy red when he smiled at her, and she smiled back. As her master lead her though tthe hallway, she explored with her dark blue eyes. Her eyes widened as he showed her new room. Winter stepped towards the door an put her hand on the handle experimentally, waiting to see if her master would call her back. Whispeing to herself more than to anyone else, she said, " I've never had room before..." Winter's mind buzzed with a sense of excitment, fear, an a sense of belonging in the world.

"its alright you can go in, its your room your free to do what ever you want in it or to the room" Daniel said petting her head gently. He headed for the stairs "oh once your all settle in and clean up and dressed you can come down for dinner" he said walking down the stairs. He went to the kitchen to see what the chef was makeing

Winter blushed when he petted her, but when he left to go downstairs, she smiled and turned the knob. A small beige room was in front of her, about the size of a motel room. There was a twin-sized bed tucked in the corner, and as her master said, a closet on the left. She went to the closet and opened its doors. There in front of her was a rack of clothing. She picked a dress much like her own. When she put it on, it fell to her thighs and its red fabric made her hair seem darker and her eyes brighter. Winter spun in the mirror propped against the wall and giggled a little. The dress had a pretty black trim at the bottom and didn't just hang on her, it formed to her bust and flipped out a little at her waist. she went into the small bathroom and washed her face, hands, and brushed her hair. When she was done, she went back into the hallway and down the stairs.

Daniel walked around the kitchen trying everything as he smiled complementing everyone. He stopped and sat in a near by chair, grabbing an apple on the way. he sat down and began to eat the apple as he looked around. "i wonder if she likes the room, the cloths and everything else . wonder if she would want anything else once she see's the room" He laughed a bit to himself. "listen to me i sound like a worried old man right about now" he said then took another bite of the apple and began to chew it

Winter reached the bottom step and smiled. She picked up the scent of apple and followed it until she reached the kitchen. She saw her master sitting at the table and she walked to him and sat across from him. Winter said in her honey-sweet voice, "Thank you for the room, clothes, and everything else, sir. I sometimes have to remind myself I'm still a slave." She blushed a little and smiled brightly.

Daniel looked up and smiled "i'm glad to hear that i really am winter. i thought you wouldn't like anything here really" he said with a small laugh. he took another apple and handed it to winter "here you can eat that they are fresh from the tree's today" he said gently. he took another bite of his apple
