"Kill 1000 darkspawn" It's one of the last trophies I need to have all the non-DLC trophies for Origins. (I don't know if DLC counts towards the Platinum trophy in DA: O.) Anyway, I read online that there's a glitch preventing people from getting the trophy on PS3, and the only way around it is to delete all the game data and re-install, and even then it doesn't work for some people. Not really willing to do that, even for a Platinum trophy...
So does anybody know if this is still an issue? Have you guys heard of this? Does it count for one play through only? Because if they're cumulative, I definitely should have gotten this trophy by now...

I have no idea about the glitch but I have read online that you have to do so on one playthrough. Also, it has to be done while you are controlling the character killing the darkspawn. Your allies kills don't count ... that's why it's so damn hard to get. sweatdrop

I guess I'll just try that, and if I don't get it in like half an hour, I'll assumed it's glitched and pout to myself. I don't have the trophy for killing 500 darkspawn either, so if that doesn't pop up, it's a pretty good indication that's it's glitched.

Ya, try that out. I actually have the one for 500 but I never even come close to killing 1000 and I'm way too lazy to go about and do the restarting at the Alienage thing.

If I start a new file in Awakening, does the kill count carry over? I'm probably close to 500 now, if I kill the rest in Awakening, will I get the trophy? It would be a lot less tedious. :3

So I'm at the very end of Awakening and still have yet to get the trophy. I've heard you can just keep reloading the game, and your kill count keeps going up. But I tried it, and I lost all my kills. ): Has this worked for anyone?
Haha, I'll start feeling bad about abusing glitches when the glitches start feeling bad about abusing me.

:/ Lucky. I hear it's only glitched on PS3. No love for the PS3 gamers.

Don't worry, we 360 players have our own glitches. Dispite four playthroughs I have yet to get the traveler acheivement and the acheivement for getting all of the endings. And don't get me started on Witch Hunt... xp

And don't get me started on Witch Hunt... xp Ooh, the Traveler trophy is deceptively easy! People think you need to go into every single map in the game: every sidequest, every stupid hovel, etc. But it's actually just a few places. I used the list here and finally got the trophy for the first time in about four full play throughs. At least the last one counted for something. >_>

Thanks for the guide biggrin , but what I meant was that 360 players could still go to all those places and not get the acheivement (the 360 version of a trophy.) That's why it's glitched.

Really? I found the same list on a 360 forum too. Are you sure they're going to the right places? Like I said, I went to every place I could think of in a few play throughs and still managed to miss it.

I got this after I got a character to level 12 and then did 2 origin stories.
It's cumulative.
EDIT: I also got traveler on my first playthrough.
Both of these were within the first week of release for 360.

Both of these were within the first week of release for 360. It's supposed to be cumulative, but it's glitched for PS3, something to do with the latest updates. I've played it all the way through at least five times, so either it's glitched, or I'm the worlds suckiest Grey Warden. I've heard that I can uninstall all my data and DLC to fix the problem, but I'm not that desperate. XD

If they kill them, it adds to that files kills, but not your overall kills. Best idea is to try doing a solo-run as an arcane warrior mage. They are one of the best tanks, especially if you power-level magic and constitution.
