Lizzy found herself wandering down the corridor of the demon dorms - the first floor of the demon dorms to be exact - carrying a huge box of lollipops in her arms. She had bought them to bring them back home for the neighbors, as well as to entertain Charlie on the train ride home, since he was going to stay over at her place for the vacation. Since Mot, the "stranger with a van", was going to join them, she was hoping that the candy might help to distract the younger boil.
Anyway, she was walking past door 157 when the bottom of the cardboard box gave way suddenly, and the lollipops fell to the ground.
Whoops.

The sound caught Riley's attention. The smell, however, was what had her acting on it.
Riley was sitting on her couch, in the dark, reading a book. It was.. well let's be quite honest. It was one of those novels they had been talking about at Prom, and Calder kept mentioning to Junko. Everyone seemed to be yammering on about them, there had to be something of interest in them, didn't there?
There was not.
Riley had soon figured out that the novels in question were nothing but fluff and base debauchery. Useless, and lacking in any new information whatsoever.
She had read seven of them.
She put down the one she was currently engaged in, when she heard the sound outside of her door. Opening it quickly, her eyes widened at the sight of lollipops strewn about the floor.
Well hello.. She purred seductively, though her voice sobered up once she added a final ..Lizzy. Need some help?

She was scrambling around, trying to scoop all the lollipops up into her arms; she wasn't far from her room! If she made a few trips to and fro, then she might be able to-
"Oh! Riley!" She blushed, and in her surprise, dropped the lollipops she had been holding in her arms. That prompted a sigh from her, and she smiled sheepishly, just realizing that she had been passing by the mindflayer's room, "Help would be nice.... The box they gave me wasn't strong enough to hold these." She gestured at the lollipops scattered about her before eyeing Riley.
"... You're not going to... Eat them all, are you?" She couldn't resist asking, raising an eye brow; she had seen Riley and her tentacles in action, eating several sweets at once... She wasn't sure she could deal with a sugar-high Riley by herself, without someone else there to help her.

That had been her plan, but..
Of course not. She shook her head innocently, and bent down to begin collecting lollipops into her arms. That would be stealing. I would never take candy from you without your permission, after all.
Her tentacles closed up so as not to smell the sugary scent, and feel tempted.
So, where are you going with all of these delicious treats, might I ask?

"Well... I supposed one wouldn't hurt, right?" She tilted her head at Riley, smiling at her gratefully for her help before bending down to collect lollipops in her arms as well, "After all, I doubt even Charlie would be able to finish half of these during the train ride home... And... They do look awfully tempting."
Kicking the box to the side of the corridor, she grinned at Riley, "I was planning to use them to distract Charlie on the way home! And... To play a prank on him. He's convinced Mot is a 'stranger with a van and candy', so I had arranged for a van to pick us up from the train station near home. That with the candy..." She giggled, "But you can have one if you like Riley! Just one though!"

Riley eyed the box as she kicked it, and shifted the lollipops she held to one side, while picking the box up carefully from one corner.
Your box is broken. Come, bring it inside, I have some packing tape. We can fix it up, so it holds your lollipops.
The offer to have one was very graciously accepted, and one of Riley's tentacles bent around to take one, while another bent to unwrapp it. That's very kind of you, Lizzy. I've been working very hard on sugar in moderation, to build up a tolerance. I had actually been doing well, until a regrettable incident at the prom managed to upset me enough to tip me overboard.
She digested the rest of Lizzy's words, and a brief look of melancholy passed through her eyes. Ah. You are taking Charlie and Mot home with you, then? That sounds like a lovely time. They are very lucky to have you as a friend. She opened her door, holding it out for Lizzy. I'm sure you are very blessed with a home life.

"Oh! That's a good idea!" She nodded before following Riley into her room, her arm full of lollipops; she watched (in mild fascination) as the demoness unwrapped the lollipop with a tentacle, "You're pretty fast! The wrappers give me trouble some times..."
When Riley spoke of prom, Lizzy couldn't help but feel slightly guilty, keeping silent, sparing her a nod here and there to show that she was still listening; after all, she had brought a whole plate of sweets to the table with the intention of feeding Riley... Hopefully nothing truly horrible happened when she was looking the other way.
"I am! Mother already said I could, although we might be moving to the vacation home by the beach after a week," She smiled, looking around the room and trying to find a place to put the lollipops down, "You're free to join us! Jericho and Malodore too, if they like... It would be nice to just kick back and relax before the next semester starts! Besides... My friends are like family."
They had fun together, suffered together...

As tempting as the offer was, Riley knew her place was here, at the school, for the majority of summer break. Her failure had only managed to further her determination to better herself intellectually, and that involved a lot of time pushing herself to the limits of psychological and physical extreme. It left little time for socialization, which was why summer break would be perfect - what with the lack of distraction and all.
And yet..
I would.. ah, like to, perhaps, come visit. Just for a bit. I will tell Malodore and Jericho of the offer you have extended. A little visit. Nothing imposing, I assure you. We can sleep atop Jericho, if there is no room for us.
She spread the lollipops down on the table, before fetching the packing tape from a nearby cabinet. As for my unwrapping abilities, it's merely practice that has me doing it so quickly. Now, let us find out how my wrapping abilities compare.
She pulled the tape out, and gestured for Lizzy to hold the back on it's side.

"Oh don't worry about imposing," She grinned, placing the lollipops down on the table after seeing Riley do so, "If you guys can make it, it'll make me very happy! The more the merrier, especially where friends are concerned!" She sounded excited about the upcoming vacation, judging from the way she was grinning and giggling.
She nodded before moving over, gently holding dowm the box down so as to not damage it further, "You'll have to teach me how to unwrap a lollipop so quickly and effectively then... I always seem to accidentally tear the wrapper, leaving a part of it behind on the sweet..." A frown quickly follow before she chuckled, shaking her head, "We have tons to practice on!"
She gestured at the lollipops on the table with a sheepish grin; it was difficult to tell if she was joking.

The warmth of Lizzy's invitation was a little disconcerting. Riley didn't exactly know how to handle it, so she simply.. didn't. Instead, she chose to focus on the next offer, her eyebrows lifting slightly even as she laid the tape down on the bottom of the box. I can do that, she murmured quietly, patting the box down and nudging it to flip back right side up. She began returning lollipops to the box, one by one. One lollipop remained clenched in her tentacle, however.
Okay. Pick up one, and hold it by the top of the stick. Try to get your nail underneath the edges at the bottom. That's where I start, is by loosening the edges. When they look like a flared skirt, you'll have a much easier time twisting the cover off.
Her tentacle had snuck underneath and jabbed into the bottom of the wrapper over and over, but then it wrapped around the entirety of the lollipop and twisted.
And that is the trick, you see. People think you should pull a wrapper off, but the best way to remove it is by twisting it off. It was twisted on, after all. Twisting it back off is the best way for it to respond properly.

"Alright..." Lizzy muttered softly as she followed after Riley's example, picking one lollipop up and plucking at the edges carefully, not wishing to rip the wrapper. Riley's instructions soon caused her to look up, one eyebrow raised in a quizzical manner. Wait, twisting the wrapper off?
"Oh! So that's the trick!" She blinked, watching the demonstration before nodding, "I didn't know that the wrappers were twisted on! Interesting..." When she was sure that the wrapper had been pulled out enough, she wrapped her fingers around the top of the lollipop, grabbing the wrapper in her grasp before twisting it.
It took a few more tries and a lot of face-making, but when the wrapper finally came off, she grinned, feeling oddly proud of herself... Even if Riley made unwrapping a lollipop look easier than it really was. Popping the candy into her mouth, it wasn't long before she took it out again, looking thoughtful. It might be the sudden sugar rush (she was protected from that during prom by the million sausages she ate before the sugary treats), but a question soon popped into her mind.
A really persistent question.
"... How many wrappers can you unwrap at once?" She asked casually, her free hand grabbing for lollipops off the table and tossing them into the now fixed box while her other hand (holding her lollipop) rose to gesture at Riley's tentacles, "I'm... Rather curious."

Riley eyed the lollipops for a moment, feeling a challenge coming on.
Well I suppose I could do as many as half my tentacles, if I was.. concentrating hard enough.
She picked up 11 lollipops, one each in a tentacle, and then her hand went up. No! I can do 12. She held one up in her hand.
And then, while focusing on keeping them in sync, she used the free tentacles to twist each wrapper off simultaneously. Once done, the free lollipops were slid behind her back.
So twelve. She murmured thoughtfully.

"... That was awesome~" She giggled, enjoying the way Riley unwrapped all 12 lollipops at the same time. It seemed like the sugar was slowly taking effect on her, even though she only had one; without realizing that she was doing it, Lizzy reached for a second lollipop after her current one was finished, twisting the wrapper off (with more ease this time) before sucking on it happily.
"How many can you unwrap in a minute?" She asked, eyes widening a little as she removed the lollipop from her mouth, "I bet... You can unwrap over a hundred." She sounded rather awed by that.

Riley looked up at Lizzy, and then down at the lollipops.
Then back up to Lizzy.
Then back down to the lollipops.
Ah. She hesitated. I do not like to turn down a challenge. However, I am fairly certain I can unwrap more lollipops in one minute than you actually have in this box. If I did that, you would have none left for Charlie. She chuckled softly. So how about instead, I make you something I've been working on lately, for you to try?
Since twelve of her tentacles were still rapidly sucking down on lollipops, Riley used one of the free ones to flip a switch on a radio, and her head bobbed in a strange motion as a song filled the air. Something about never making you cry, and never saying goodbye.
Come over to the kitchen, you can be my first test subject.

"Never gonna give you up, never gonna let you down~" She sung to the song before giggling, "Odd, but strangely catchy." Another giggle followed as she nodded, wondering what Riley had in mind. The word 'test subject' caused her to raise an eyebrow, although she didn't question the ghoul. Instead, she just followed her wordlessly into the kitchen.
"Ohhh, are you going to cook something?"
