Taking in a deep breath, Shun took a moment before continuing his form out on one of the grassy open areas around the school. The clubhouse was currently occupied, and it was a nice day out, so he was practicing his moves elsewhere today.
His daggers were both out as he struck the air around him. Aside from using his blades, he was also lashing out with various handstrikes and kicks now and then as well.
The Reaper also wasn't wearing his normal attire as he trained. Rather than the leather jacket and whatnot, he was wearing something that threw back to his heritage. In other words, he was adorn in a black hakama with a rather dark yukata.

Of course, like a certain marsupial, Levi was hanging in a tree simply enjoying the outdoors. A bit sleepily, she was startled by a sound not too far away. Pigtails hung upside down with gold eyes peering around to follow the noises. It was like blades through air. Something quick paced and sudden. Indeed, her ears didn't betray her; off a good few yards away was a boil of similar height ding what looked to be like training.
The boil had blades alright- but more intriguing to the tatzel was his movements. There was a sort of precision as he would strike at air. Calculated movements, hmm...
Levi climbed back into the tree and flopped back down onto solid ground with a thump on all fours. She didn't stand just then, but rather observed for a moment. Is that... a skirt? No. The bottom attire separated into two legs when the boil would kick. Decidedly from this display of obvious strength, the tatzel's lips perked into a sly grin; she wanted to test him herself.
She sprang into the air then with the aid of her tail.
Not appearing from behind- she chose a more direct path. Infront of him. She was far enough to not be in his line of attack, but close enough to be within his complete vision.
Arms behind her back in a non-threatening manner, she realized that this was Shun. Brows raised as she head tilted in curiousity. Shun- fancy seein' out 'ere. What' cha'll doin'? ...thems some fancy moves ya got. She'd only briefly seen the boil dance during the hip thrust dance at prom... he was able to move with admirable agility. The boil couldn't fool Levi.

In the distance, Shun saw the dancing Tatzel approaching him, though he didn't stop with his movements until she was more or less right in front of him. Letting out another breath, he relaxed while raising an eyebrow at the girl. She seemed pretty curious of what he was up to.
He didn't know her all too well, but he knew she was rather capable of dancing very well. There was also a sort of strong spirit within her, but aside from that, she was almost a stranger to him. Levi didn't seem like she was a handful to deal with, however.
"Just training," he said quietly. Hopefully that would be enough to satiate her curiosity so he could continue on.

It was not enough to satiate her curiosity. The tatzel was just getting started with her investigation.
In the spirit of her usual attack-then-ask-questions-later philosophy, Levi would have jumped right into the training with Shun then. However, she was still learning about the boil. Back in not-math class, she'd noted that the reaper lacked ears or a tail. Maybe he was like Mot? What was that term...
Crossing her arms and tapping her head for a moment with flat ears, she perked up again to pronounce her findings. hmmm creeper- eh.....wait...reaper. Ya'll 'er a reaper? am 'irite? Mot didn't have any distinct critter features either (she wasn't going to count the hat; that was apparel), so it was a good guess in the tatzel's opinion purely for this reasoning.
Mot wasn't as rough as this boil. Shun wasn't as tall, but as the tatzel circled him, she did conclude that he was a fighter. A fighter; rough n' tough. Coming back in front of Shun, she now sported a toothy grin. The tatzel would fight this reaper...oh yes... this would be interesting.
Aye,... ya'll think those thar things she nodded her chin towards the blades Shun brought er more fun than 'a good 'ol one-on-one with yer bare hands? Levi preferred hand-to-hand combat to any use of weapons. She still held her wide grin in interest of this information. Get the boil away from his toys and see what he'll do. Were those moves and kicks as powerful as they looked?

"That I am," Shun said plainly before watching the Tatzel begin to circle him. It made him a little unsettled with the way she was looking at him. It was as if she was sizing him up or something along those lines. In any case, he was on his guard. He didn't think that she would strike at him out of the blue, but he didn't really know what she was going to do.
Furrowing his brow, he glanced at his daggers, then at Levi. It sounded like she was challenging him now. Staring for a moment, he considered this. If she wanted to spar, it would be better off to dismiss his weapons anyway, to put them on level playing field. Regardless of that, it should be good training. There may be times where he couldn't rely on his daggers anyway.
Without another word, the daggers disappeared into shadowy wisps and the Reaper stepped back to take on a fighting stance. Once he was set, he just motioned towards the girl to come at him.

oh- so he was ready
The tatzel took note of the disappearing dagger trick with some awe. IT wasn't everyday such things poofed in and out of existence right before your eyes. She couldn't help but wonder if this was a trick all reapers knew or if it was just Shun.
Practically beckoning for her to attack him with that pose, Levi's tail coiled in excitement. She moved back down into a crouch for a moment. A low hiss vented through clenched teeth in between perked lips. Yer readin' ma mind, boil. She looked forward to testing his abilities strength-for-strength.
Jolting forward in a zig zag fashion on all fours, the tatzel bounded upward a the last foot or so in front of Shun, leaping above him... and ready to see how/if he'd block an aerial attack. She would grab him from the shoulders and used the force of her legs and tail to force him back, bringing his body down.
Levi's plan, like so many other fighters, was to take the opponent to the ground. Once there, all she had to do was restrain them; a tatzel specialty.

Narrowing his eyes as Levi got into position, Shun watched the Tatzel carefully, trying to see what she'd do. He had little idea of what she was capable, so he wasn't about to rush in headfirst here. That would be incredibly foolish of him. He'd wait to see if he could gauge how she fought, then go on from there. Since this was a spar, he could take the time to do this. There was nothing at stake aside from his pride possibly.
Seeing her come at him, his dark eyes widened for the moment. She was fast and agile. Preparing to meet with her attack, he looked up as she suddenly sprang above him. There wasn't a whole lot he could do that that point to counteract, so he pushed off the ground to roll to the side. Aside from being quick, it seemed she had a good bit of power in her legs to be able to jump at that sort of height. It was possible that wasn't her limit either.
Coming out of the roll he didn't stand up all the way and kept fairly low to the ground. The stance wasn't too different from how he'd fight if he had his daggers, but he was able to improvise to deal without them.

Good, Levi thought to herself coming down into a full landing on solid ground again. THUMP. In place of where Shun once was, she turned her head to glare at him, letting out a snicker. It would be fun. Shun obviously knew enough strategically to exit his position entirely if he was to avoid what force she had... he gave her that much credit. Smart boil to not underestimate a ghoul.
Well, if he'd already suspected she had potential, that meant she wouldn't be able to use her trickery on him as she did with West. This would be a sparring test; Shun's movements against her own. Time to fight like a tatzel! He took on a posture that was similar to her usual stance now.
A long thick white tail whipped around her while she crouched and swipped at the side of Shun's face like a punch. She didn't move at all for this; just that long tail which seemed to move like it had a mind of it's own. To Levi, her tail was just like another arm or leg and functioned as such. Only longer...

As he watched her carefully, Shun almost didn't see the tail whipping out at him like it did. Normally he was used to seeing a tail as more of a balancing limb rather than something to take into account. The fact that she hardly moved the rest of her body would make it tricky to try and see when she'd strike with it too.
He'd definitely have to take caution with it.
This surprise almost got him right to the face. Moving just barely enough, he could feel bits of her fur brushing past. Deciding to try and capitalize on this, he brought up his hands to try and grab the appendage to see if he could yank her off balance.

She barely felt an impact when, on return, the white tail was grasped by her opponent. Time to panic? Time to pull back, demanding he release it? No. Now they were connected as if by a rope. Not necessarily a bad position to be in if you were trying to get close to your opponent.
Shun tried to yank at her tail and she moved with the yank as he did so. She straightened out a leg, sliding a foot upward in the air towards his chest in an attempt to disturb his position as well. Allowing her hands and other foot to bare the scrape of the ground, Levi grunted slightly. If Shun yanked too hard, he was going to get a chest full of kick by a size 10 sneaker.

As he pulled, Shun was planning on striking out at the Tatzel. However, he soon saw that she had adjusted to his attack. Narrowing his eyes, he tried to think quick but with them closing in on one another really fast, he didn't have that much time to think or move.
So instead, he released her tail and brought his arms in to brace himself as much as he could before feeling her foot plant into him. Letting out a grunt, he was knocked back from the force, sending him rolling on the grass for a few moments. Damn she did have a fair amount of power there. But at least he was able to block it rather than take that force directly to his chest.
The girl was certainly one to be reckoned with. He was right to not hold back against her.
Grimacing, he planted his feet down as he came out of the roll before dashing back at Levi with a punch towards her head.

The tingling sensation from her hands drove her to pat them together, getting the feeling back. Hissing to the blood-rushing feeling returning (a happy hiss?), Levi looked towards where Shun now was. It was going to be unavoidable; as the boil lunged at her, fist at the ready, Levi took a fist to the jaw. Whirling her head around involuntarily, she took a moment of shock before spitting on the ground. It wasn't bleeding, luckily, but she did feel a great deal of force in Shun's right hook.
Nice... wiping at her lower lip, the tatzel ducked, and bounded up at the boil's chin for an uppercut.

Levi had taken the brunt of his attack but it didn't seem to phase her all too much. She definitely was a pretty worthy opponent for sure. Seeing her coming in for a retaliating blow, Shun began to move to the side to try and avoid getting the uppercut. He managed to dodge enough to keep from taking the full hit, but her fist still grazed hard against the side of his face. Judging how he felt that glancing blow, it probably wouldn't have been too good for him if he had taken the full thing.
Gritting his teeth, he kept with his momentum and worked on turning his body to try and reverse side kick the tatzel away from him.

Agility she had; Shun was just very practiced in his fighting style, it seemed. Truly, he was proving himself to be a really fun opponent. She saw the reaper turn his back on her for what would have been just a moment.
It was luckily at the last second that she crotched again, just feeling the kick hit her levitating hair during her movement. Even with this, she was moved back just a bit, making her position a bit wobbly, but still possible. With his one leg in the air, Levi swipped at Shun's standing leg with her tail.

That tail of Levi's was a little hard to take into account, especially since Shun wasn't too used to fighting someone who could do these sorts of things. When the sweep came, he was thrown off balance and landed onto his backside with quite the thud.
Grunting as this happened, he was dazed momentarily before he tried to scramble back to his feet possibly. It wouldn't be good to be caught on his back here.
