lol i have swords and blunt objects, but my dad wants an f-15 semi auto, hunting rifle even though he doesn't hunt

By the time the Apocalypse hits, I'm sure the last thing anyone will worry about is your age. You may be able to just stroll in, pick your weapon of choice and head on out!

Hmm, swords aren't exactly the best weapons. Well depending on which ones anyways.
The most effective would be something like a claymore and whatnot, but that is far to heavy for mostr normal people to carry on long journeys.
And trust me, the only true way to keep safe in a zombie apolapse would be to keep moving and never stay in one spot for to long. Otherwise you will eventually just get overrun.

I would have a double sided battle axe strapped to my back, 2 daggers each tied against my outter thigh, and a 2 gun holster which went under my jacket. hell yeah. Then of course, the knife in the heel of your boots, and chains for a detached belt just in case. the Gun's I would use would be 45 magnums, freaking powerful as hell, kick like a b*tch but will do serious damage.
But hey, that's just me. And yeah, bats would be fun because of the crushing of bones, but even with knives, there's a lot of blood, and a lot of gore, especially if you do it the right way (take off their head, cut off an arm). And technically, aren't zombies the walking dead? If their dead, wouldn't they be unable to bleed? >.< just trying to understand that whole thing.

Zombie Invasion Battle Plan
#1 Grab Pre-Made Go Bag. (Water purification, C- Rations, Ammo, Cleaning Supplies, Fire starting supplies, Kindling, Ammo, Handgun, Rifle, Shotgun etc etc etc. Have enough food to make it a week.)
#2 Get the hell away from people! Seriously most people are freaking idiots.
#3 Get to a large body of water, while obtaining a larger vehicle, and obtaining fishing gear, gasoline, if you can, and more water and food.
#4 Find a sizable boat.
#5 Get your butt on the water alittle ways off shore and wait it out.
Zombies can't swim = Win

Zombies can't swim = Win Boats would help but you have to stop somewhere at sometime for food. I'd prefer woods trees to climb, animals to hunt and HUGE sticks made good weapons for a little bit (until they break). But guns won't always help. You will need to reload and factories will be down and eventually bullets will be scarce and over time non-existent.
