 Ayumu stood cautiously on the edge of the Ongonzana'ke pride lands. It had been decided by the male leading their small group that they would all join the pride in order to have protection and a steady meal. They had all fallen in love with the pride, which made the decision to join easier. However, Ayumu was afraid. Not that the pride or the members were scary, but she had never experianced the life of being in a pride before. She felt like she would end up letting everyone down if she did something wrong. "What if they don't like me?" She said out loud to herself. Ayumu was generally a very outgoing girl who didn't worry about what others thought of her, but this was different. Other's depended on her, for what she was not sure. But she certainly didn't want to let anyone down. Ayumu sighed and hung her head as she thought about what she would do and how she would help the pride.

Sumana's tail twitched irritatingly as she walked along the pride's lands. She was bored, and not really sure what to do right now. And this lioness was too much like her goddess mother - if she was bored, she wasn't always the most pleasant creature to be around.
After a somewhat refreshing tree scratching routine, the white lioness decided to investigate this new group of members that had joined recently. Being part of the council she had seen them, but didn't know them in a one-on-one basis. Time to change that. She walked out in search of them, deciding that they'd have to fulfill her idleness right now.

Only a short time had passed since Ayumu passed into the prides boarder. As she walked she thought more on what she would do to help with the pride. She had next to no life skills due to her upbringing, and thus she would not be able to help much with hunting. But maybe if she was taught she could learn. Ayumu shook her head. No, it would be to much work. Both on her end and the one who was teaching her. "Well this is terrible." Ayumu said as she stopped in her tracks. Just a few feet from her she noticed a lioness walking around all by herself. Who could this possibly be? "Hello!" Ayumu called out to her with a smile.

Sumana's ear twitched as she glanced upwards. Upon inspection, it was one of the newer lionesses. Not really wanting to be yelled at (in her humble opinion), she turned her direction a bit to approach the blue and teal lioness, silent the whole time.
"Hello," she finally said in reply when she was closer. "Can I help you?" she asked, wondering if the lioness needed something. Plus, it might get a more interesting conversation going than what Sumana could drum up alone.

Ayumu continued to smile as the lioness turned to face her. "My name is Ayumu and I just joined the pride." She said, not quite sure where to start her introduction with this female. "Sorry if I am speaking out of term." Ayumu said shyly. Being shy wasn't like her, but this, this was the most terrifying thing she had ever done in her life and she wanted and needed to get it right. Ayumu bowed her head lightly, to show that she was sorry if she had spoke out of term or did something else wrong.

"No, it's fine," Sumana said. She didn't care that much, even if she was a bit higher ranked. It only mattered when it needed to matter. It could be viewed in terms that Sumana lightly abused it, if only because she relished in her slight status difference when it was needed. She waved a paw around as if that would help ease the teal lioness' worries.
"Have you been settling in fine? It seems that your group is, one by one, getting the hang of our life over here."

Ayumu nodded lightly. "I am getting the hang of being in a pride, although, I do find myself worrying I may not live up to the expectations others have of me." She said with a soft giggle. "But I think that is mainly due to my lack of experiance with being in a pride and wanting to be accepted." She replied, trying to be honest. Ayumu thought for a moment. "I have noticed though that I fit better with the cubs of the pride." She said with a smile. "Maybe I'm supposed to be a nanny or just mother lots of children." Ayumu laughed, trying to show that there was a hint of joking in her last statement.

Sumana blinked at her comment. Really? "There are few expectations here," she answered with a slow nod. "As long as you are respectful and polite, you will get along just fine here." Her tail swished behind her as she wondered if it really was that strange. Being the child of a god made it hard for her to really relate to others, if only because her visions guided her into a comfortable life here. She had...always lived comfortably, actually.
With a slight shrug, she brushed off Ayumu's last comments. "Well, you can certainly take that place. I don't do too well with them." Too much of her mother in her, really. "I'll keep that in mind in case I end up with little balls of fluff and don't know what to do with them." A very soft smile appeared on her face, something that mildly surprised the normally cool lioness.

Her head bowed slightly once more as she listened to Sumana respond. "I know... I'm just nervous." She said lifting her head. It was hard for her to explain just exactly how she felt about coming into the pride. Inside she felt like she was going to burst from happiness at even the notion of being a pride, but her outer appearance seemed to come off vastly different from that. Taking in a deep breath she nodded and smiled. "I'll be here to help you then." Ayumu said with a large smile. It was decided then. She would be a nanny help rear the young ones of the pride. She couldn't be any happier.

"I'm glad," Sumana said, her tail and nose twitching in unison. "I know that there are a few little young ones running around, but there should certainly be a few more to guarantee the survival of our small pride." She should really lead by example and have a littler, but having to carry and bear cubs was such...a terrifying thought. She wouldn't share that with Ayumu, but she would let the blue lioness know once her duties as a step-in-nanny would be needed!
"I'm glad that you have some of your traveling companions, so you're not alone. Still, if I'm not asleep somewhere and you see me, I'd be happy to chat with you again sometime, Ayumu."

A blissful grin appeared on her maw as she nodded. "Yes, I would like that too." She said, her smile never dropping. At the response Sumana gave her she found herself wondering just how many cubs would be born within the months to come. Would Sumana be one of them? Heck, would she be one of them? This question left her perplexed for a moment. Finally her head cleared and her gaze shifted to Sumana. "I think it is getting late." She said, now feeling how tired she was. "I'll have a long day ahead of me tomorrow. So goodnight Sumana." Ayumu said with a pleasant smile. Her body turned from the fellow lioness and her paw led her towards the dens for a good nights rest.Safaia AHHHHHHHHHHHHH! I DID IT! XDDD
