In honor of Tad and perhaps the most fun RP this guild has ever hosted, it's high time we brought back Hero High! Let's face it, our last little trip down High School Lane was just too much fun so we're going to make an official RP thread in returning to Hero High!

In this thread we'll have all the OOC information as it comes along, including student bios, classes and clubs, etc.

This time around, all teachers will be NPCs so there will be no shortage of people to RP with as students.

Powers: Theodore isn't quite sure why he is different, but he attributes his powers to have some similarity to those of Bruce Banner, the Hulk. They both turn green and get huge, right? And they're both really strong...but Teddy has control over his anger, and he controls when he 'hulks out'. Plus, he can shape shift and heal pretty easily. So maybe there's something a little different about Teddy.
Appearance: Teddy can, for all intents and purposes, appear any way that he wants. But, when Teddy isn't a large green guy with wings, he's usually a tall, well-built, blond haired, blue eyed cupcake with a penchant for piercings.

Patroclus: The time-displaced soul mate and lover to Achilles. Destined to die on the beaches of Troy and bring about the end of the Trojan War by way of a Greek victory, the young Patroclus never-the-less is granted periodic visiting rights to Achilles in modern times on rare occasion.

Jennifer Kale is a senior student. She is noted by former professor Stephen Strange, as well as current teachers Daimon Hellstorm and Agatha Harkness as being the most skilled student mage Hero High has. She is head of the Magic Club and is a champion duelist in the Magic competitions between Hero High and its rival schools. She is most often seen in the company of freshman Billy Kaplan as she is his student mentor in the magical arts. She is a good friend and very supportive of Billy and his relationship to Teddy Altman.

James Jesse - President of the student council, James is a noted troublemaker and prankster. He also secretly runs an on-campus pirate radio station dedicated to spreading information to the 'less heroic' students on campus called Radio Villain. Despite his goofball, anarchistic attitude, James is extremely loyal and much smarter than he looks.

Lisa and Len Snart - a brother/sister team who live together in the on-campus apartment building. Lisa is one of the most popular girls in school - and she knows it! Her brother Len is an antisocial, slightly creepy guy who is overprotective of his sister. He also bears a grudge against Achilles for taking his spot on the football team.

Lisa is the vice-president of the Student Council.

James, Len and Hartley Rathaway together are known as teacher Raven Darkholme's "Rogue Boys," and she has taken them under her wing especially to teach them the ways of the darker side of Hero High.

Mary Batson - also known as Mary Marvel, Mary is the school's resident gossip. Her mouth has gotten her into trouble plenty of times before, but Mary just can't stop talking about all the news the students of Hero High want to know.

Betty Ross Newly engaged to Dr Bruce Banner. She's an army brat and has been around the whole world following her father's footsteps. She's currently living with Dr Banner in his home, since she's escaped her father's intense guardianship. He strongly was against the marriage and still is. Betty is currently a housewife and living out some weird 1960's dream relationship with Bruce; bring on the meatloaf. There is a strange relationship with Doc Samson, but really they're "just friends" honest.

Note: No Red She-Hulk as that would bring angst and brainwashing so let's have her stay happy and engaged. smile

Hero High's Rival Schools

Hero High is a high school for exceptional students. Because of the abilities of its students, it wouldn't be fair for them to compete in a normal school district. Fortunately, there are several other schools with extraordinary students out there, and Hero High competes against them in sports and academics.

Jedi Academy:

Hero High's biggest rival school. Jedi Academy and Hero High have the best football teams of the district, and often clash violently on the field. The Jedi Academy principal is Mr. Yoda. Most notable amongst the students are the jackass star quarterback, Anakin Skywalker and his personality-of-paper girlfriend, Padme Amidala.

Toonami Tech:

Sometimes referred to derogatorily as 'Anime High', this school is actually all the way in Japan. Principal Roshi is the head of this school, and notable stars include Goku Saiyan, Usagi Tsukino and the mind-boggling number of harems that seem to echo throughout the technical high school's campus.

Monster High:

Based in Salem, Oregon (apparently, the school's founder got his Salem's mixed up), this school has students who are the children of famous monsters. The principal is the Headless Headmistress. Notable students include Clawd Wolf, head of the Casketball team and Cleo DeNile, daughter of the mummy and head of the Fearleading squad.

(NOTE: Monster High is also unique in being the only school that is on friendly terms with Hero High)

Masters of the University:

Hero High's primary rival in the magical arts and wrestling, Masters of the University IS actually a high school despite it's highfalutin name. They are something of a 'barbarian' school who rate winning and having the power above all else. The principal is Teelana the Sorceress. Notable students include Evelyn Powers (known best by her nickname Evil-lyn) and their star wrestling champion, Prince Adam.

Hogwarts Wizarding School:

Probably the best known of Hero High's rival schools, Hogwarts has let their fame go to their heads and often fail in sports and academic contests because of it. The Headmaster is Albus Dumbledore and notable students include Cedric Diggory, Draco Malfoy, and some obnoxious kid with a scratch on his head.

Hero High Hangouts

Blackhawk's Bar and Grill

Blackhawk's actually sits on campus behind the Admin building but it's not owned by the school. Zinda Blake, time displaced pilot and hottie, was given permission to open the bar with the idea that it would be a place for teachers to relax. Unfortunately for the staff, the place has become immensely popular among the students, even if they have to pay cash to eat there. The bar features a small stage for musical acts(Zinda can be seen badgering Chris Powell into singing every so often) and a sign by the entrance reads "Break the peace and I'll break your head." The signature dish of Blackhawk's is the Bellybuster Burger with a side of fries.

The Magic Mirror

The Magic Mirror is an all purpose Five and Dime type store that is located in downtown Midvale. That's the closest description the owners, Snow White and Bigby Wolf, could come for you Mundies. The Mirror can get you almost anything you could want, magical or mundane. The store is actually larger on the inside than the out(it's magical...duh) and one can find everything from candy to cleaning products to griffin eggs inside. Snow and Bigby keep the more dangerous objects out of the wrong hands of course. Reasonably priced and well stocked with a large variety of student needs, come on by and maybe you'll see Snow and Bigby's cubs running up and down the aisles.

That 50's Diner

The popular downtown eatery owned by Jughead Jones has gone by many names over the years; Cafe Noir(50's), Groovy Eats(60's), Disco Diet(70's), Awesome Bites(80's), and Mad Meals(90's). The current name is a takeoff of sitcom and the diner has very retro 50's look and feel. Don't be fooled by the fact that this is a diner, the food is pretty good.

Banana Phone

The creator of the popular social network site, MyFaceSpace, was looking to expand her business. She's also a superfan of the song "Banana Phone." Merging the two ideas, a new cell phone store was born. Banana Phone offers all types of cell phones as well as landline phones. You can download apps, sign up with a new company, and even buy a popular MP3 player at the Midvale location!

The Dakota

Midvale's one and only jazz club sits on the far side of town from Hero High. It's an older club that had fallen into disrepair before being bought by Gotham businessman, Oswald Cobblepot. Cobblepot restored the club to it's former glory and now you can catch the musical stylings of Venus Pandeimos every Friday night. There's a two drink minimum and Cobblepots employee's are notorious for not carding Hero High students.

Caffiends

Owned and operated by the enigmatic Spiral, Caffiends is the coffee shop where students and teachers alike go to get their morning, afternoon and evening jolt of caffeine. Located just on the east side exit of the Hero High campus, it is worth the jaunt alone just to watch the proprietor make six drinks all at the same time!

Here we will list the current storylines planned for Hero High, in order. These are not individual storylines but ones that will affect the school as a whole.

Hero High Guidelines:

1) No violent, gory deaths please. Yes, the occassional tragedy does occur, but let's try to not be graphic, agreed?

2) No explicit sexual roleplay. This includes graphic depictions of sex, sexual assaults or explicit, graphic nudity. Playful flirting, non-explicit 'noodity' and double entendres are allowed and encouraged.

3) There will be NO MORE fighting in the ooc thread. Take it to me or to the object of your objection via PMs. Fighting posts will be deleted. No exceptions!

4) If there is a main storyline going on that involves the whole school, please wait for it to end before starting another that is intended to involve everyone. All you need to do is announce your intention right here in the OOC and we'll put it up in the storylines post. As soon as the current storyline is finished, then it's your turn.

This will hopefully avoid confusion and keep us from disrupting one another's plans. We all have ideas, let's allow each other our time in the spotlight.

If you have an idea for the future, please also let us know and we'll list that seperate as an upcoming storyline.

NOTE: Side storylines and interaction between students and in classes are fine. This is just about the 'main' storylines.

Okay folks, welcome to the new and improved OOC thread for Hero High III!

As you might notice, the first post is no longer just one big long mess of important info for the RP, but has now been divided into into relevant categories for easier research. There has even been added a few new sub-sections such as "Notable NPCs" as well as "Hero High Storylines" and "News and Notes" to keep things up to date.

There is even now a Table of Contents in the first post with links to go directly to the section of your choice so you don't have to scroll down.

So....!

If you are still going to be participating in the mind mesmerizing thrall that is Hero High, please respond here with your student's info. If you're a returning student, just say the names of your active students and I'll copy the info from the original OOC thread into the appropriate section in this thread.

If you're a new student (and we want to see new faces!), just fill out the enrollment form in the first post and I'll get you entered.

NOTE: If you'll notice in the Hero high Staff post, the classes are now divided between prerequisites, and electives. The prerequisites are of course what every student takes. The electives are the special added classes students take by choice. I am asking both new and returning students alike to pick 3-5 electives. Clubs and sports are optional but it does add to the fun of the RP to know the interests of your characters.

Plus I will be sending out report cards to all active students so I'll need to know your classes in order to do so. twisted
