Today was the best day of my life!!!! So.... I think Imma tell you from beginning to end. (:
I only got about 4-6 hours of sleep, cause I was so excited. In the morning, it would be the day I've been waiting for!!! The concert I've been DYING to go to. Wapred Tour 2011. My favorite band of all time, Blood On The Dance Floor was gonna be there!!!
So when I woke up, I went straight to the shower. It wasn't exactly the best shower I ever took.... :/ A few minutes after I got in, I felt like I was going to throw up. Then my hearing partially went away... (If you've been to a concert, you'd know what it's like. Cause I heard like a band just got done playing.) Then I got extremely dizzy. And I almost lost my balance. Then my sight kinda went away, all I remember was everything getting all fuzzy. And I seriously felt like I was just about to pass out.
So I sat down, and everything came back to Earth. But I constantly had to sit down again and again cause I kept getting dizzy every now and again.
I don't know if I was tired, overwhelmed, excited, or hungry. But it wasn't a good experience...
Anyway, now for the good stuff..
We got to the Shoreline Amphitheater (The place the concert was at.) We made it inside, got a schedule/map, and looked to see when all the bands we wanted to see were playing.
Blood On The Dance Floor was started at 6:25 p.m., and it was only a but passed 11 a.m.. So we had plenty of time to check out other bands. Then we looked to see when Black Veil Brides was playing. What sucks is, they were playing at 6:30 p.m on a different stage, so they left me to choose who I'd rather see.
I chose Botdf, of course. Then I wanted to see when There For Tomorrow was playing, cause I had just started to like them. They were playing at 7:30. Luckily botdf ended at 7:15, so we might have been able to make it on time to see them.
Well, the day was a bit boring. Yeah, we listened to a few good bands. But I was saving my energy for 6:25, so there wasn't much to do besides sit or stand around and listen.
Plus, it was about 90 degrees out, so it was kinda hard to do anything.
It was almost time. We were just waiting for the worker people to set up the stage. I was as close to the stage as I could get. But it was extremely cramped. I literally could move nothing but my feet a little bit.
There was this guy in front of me, and somehow my sister managed to make him look back at me... and the guy was like, "Hey, I love your shirt! I listen to them too!" and I said, "Thanks" and we high-fived ;D
Then the guy was like, "So, did you meet them yet?" and I was like, "No." And he said that there was a signing at 3:00 p.m. So I was thinking "Ah, s**t. If only I knew about it!!" then he said, "But my friend told me they're doing another one after the show." and I was so happy!!!
Then they came out on stage, and there was a little more room to jump around. And that's exactly what I did.. x3 I was jumping, screaming, and singing along.
So, just to let you know, there was a little barrier between the crowd and the stage.
Anyway, so the lead singer, Dahvie Vanity, jumped off the stage, and reached his hand over. And you will not believe how crazy people went. Everyone was trying to grab his hand, or touch him, or something. (Of course, I was TRYING too..) but people were pushing so much, I got squished to the point I literally could hardly breathe.
But uhh... eventually, I grabbed his arm. ;D (Heh, it was soft = w =)
They played all the good songs. =3 But I was like... EXTREMELY happy when they played this one song called Star Power!!!! heart I remember walking into the Amphitheater thinking, "I hope they play Star Power!!" AND THEY DID!!!! =DDD
Anyway, so they got done. And we headed around the stage to their booth thingy where the signing thingy was gonna be.
So my dad went to check on how the line was doing, or whatever, and he saw Jayy (singer/screamer dude) standing there meeting people and stuff. So my dad went up and got the tickets signed... > w < So he told us he'd save our spot in line to meet Dahvie. (Cause apparently he had a line, and Jayy didn't..) and me and my sister walked over to where he was.... and we got to hug him =D and talk to him. And I gave him this note/letter thingy that I wrote for him. Basically it just said everything that I wouldn't be able to.. whee so I told him I wrote something in it, and he told me he'd read it, and then he just hugged me again.. xD
And surprisingly, and I didn't have a hard time talking to him, like I thought I would.
Anyway, we went back in line...
It took forever, but we finally made it!!! And lmfao, my dad hugged him first xD and I didn't hear him, but later he told me that he said "My daughters really love you. Make their day, and hug them" ( 4laugh ) and Dahvie looked at us for like a second, and hugged us... x3 And I gave him the letter/note thingy that I wrote for him..... he bit it.... O.o... then put it in his pocket.. >_> xD And he signed my ticket too...
And he GAVE me and my sister a free wristband... whee and we all hugged like... 3 or so more times, and we had to go...
And yeah, I talked to him too.... kinda... xd
But both Dahvie and Jayy were extremely nice. (:
What kinda sucks is that my dad had lost the camera he brought, so I couldn't get a picture with either of them... :/ BUT when I got home, we took pictures of the tickets... >=D
