Ebio There was a lot of change and everyone was growing up so fast! All her friends, the boys she had crushes on came and went but all the while. The whole world was spinning, it was hard to grasp. Ebio's paw extended and in an instant... they were already all older. Some nannies, other guards and dancers. Everyone hooking up, and when she finally found someone- they too were taken. All the old crushes that died hard, all went on to bigger things and still. All around her, laughing, kissing, cute couple like things- she was alone. Trying to stay upbeat, praying that her prince will come and she will be a happy mother like the rest of them, but sometimes. It seemed like just a dream. She laid out on the temple's steps, looking out, then finally putting her chin to her paws. Sighing.. It hurt sometimes.. and time passed so quickly. It was her time to be a mother she always wanted and..no one to mother to. Her ears went down and she pawed at her face. It was mid day and time seemed to pass more slowly. "Ok-sun. That's enough." She growled.. anger and sadness never fit Ebio's face. She was ALWAYS happy, cheerful and bright but that disappeared with the constant reminder that she was alone. Her brothers even had girlfriends!
Tuaika Tuaika came running out of the ruins. He just sat through another boring meeting and was ready to get out of that old dusty conference room. He flew through the sands, loving the feel of the hot air through his mane, the bangle on his ear made small tinking sounds as the charms hit against one another. Some day he wished he was just a normal lion. Not a prince, just someone who could do whatever he pleased, and didn't have an agenda he had to keep to every day. After a while of running he stopped and plopped into the sand, rolling around and letting it cover him from head to paw. Maybe if he just laid there and kept completely still no one would see him and he could just sleep for the rest of the day.
Ebio Laying there with her head low, and once she closed her eyes. Seconds before she saw a blur hit and the sands puff up in a pit of smoke right upon her. Thank the gods she had closed her eyes not breaths ago. A growl settled in her throat and rumbled louder when she shook her head. Sand in her hair again when she just cleaned herself off in the pool. Heightening her body, standing on ends now with a really nasty anger deep in her voice. "Hey! Someone was laying here! Watch where your going!" She almost barked angerily. It didn't sound like her to be mean or 'older' sounding but she couldn't help but be annoyed. Shaking herself off as she pawed off the sands around her. Maybe she could get some sleep in, maybe a cat nap would better help her mood for it was on foul mood she was in. Her green eyes rolled as to not care who it was. Probably some cub- she knew this place would never be in trouble.. no cause for alarm.
Tuaika He blinked when he heard the growl, and lifted his head when he heard the voice. Shaking the sand from his mane, "Oh, sorry about that." He said as he sat up. His cover was already blown, thre was no way he'd be able to get away with laying still now. "I didn't know there was anyone else out here." He chuckled lightly. "I guess i was lost in my thoughts." That seemed to happen a lot with him.
Ebio "Because I AM a no one." Shouting practically as she lifted her head up, her eyes filled with sand as she tried to rub it loose from her eyes. Shaking her head and growling lightly. "Now I can't even see!" A haze to her eyes as she continued to paw at her eyes enough to see a blur. "Who is- I don't even care." Turning around heading tail. Except, when she did- she ran right in to a few if not more jars that seemed to echo the 'rolling' on its axis sound before promptly breaking in to a shattering mess.
Tuaika He looked at her with a worried expression when she started to yell. It was never good when someone thought they were nobody. "Wait, no... I'm sorry, you misunderstand." He said as he caught up to her and started to walk beside her, "What I meant was, Hey, watch out!" he said just before she ran into the pots. "Are you alright?" He asked, as he helped her up. He really felt bad. He was the one who started all this. She probably wouldn't be so mad if he hadn't shown up and ruined her perfectly good day.
Ebio A plummeting over throw as she tripped and fell over all the jars. Retorting back before getting helped up, and when he did so. Scrapped her arm and she hissed slightly. Seeing the brown blur in front of her. Facing him with a huff to her. "Purr-fect." She sat down and rubbed her face again with the opposite paw enough to finally see. Then her green eyes met his. "Tuaika ?" Slowly pulling her neck back. "Where did you come from- it's been forever!?"

Tuaika He watched her and smiled lightly when she said his name, "Hehe, hey Ebio." he said as he sat down in front of her and lowered his head to look at her cut. "I just came out of another meeting." He said as he looked back to the ruins where he ran from. "How have you been?" He asked with a yawn.
Ebio The Prince, she remembered when her and her friend finally found out, and that was something to be marveled at but of course. He was the first one she fell for and the first to betray her without knowing it.. she didn't even know her feelings til he was already together with her best friend. A sigh came out as she continued to lick at her cut. "Being a Prince is busy isn't it." A soft smile came out of her.
"I have been good. Working, as usual? A nanny's job is never done and when it does seem like a break I take on part time to help the teachers with their students. I have been keeping myself busy." Then finally left her cut alone to look and marvel at him. He had become handsome indeed, and a look of sadness rushed over her but she didn't notice. It was just how things went sometimes and she was one that couldn't understand that no matter how much it was explained. "How is Thwayya?"
Tuaika He smiled. "Yes, it is. It's almost never ending." He was glad she was well. She sounded almost as busy as he was. He wondered what it was like to be a nanny. He was never good with cubs so he figured it'd be a nightmare. But Ebio seemed to enjoy it. He laughed lightly when she mentioned helping the teachers. He remembered how much trouble he was in for with all his teachers. Always dozing off, and skipping out on lessons, he was terrible. "I guess she's good..." He replied in the mention of Thwayya. "Tell you the truth I haven't seen her in a while. With everything going on I haven't had much time to spend with her. Or anyone for that matter." He chuckled a little at the last part.
Ebio "You don't know how your wife is doing?" She almost seemed baffled. Shaking her head with a light laugh. So shy, that's all she remembed and while doing everything for the pride to keep busy, she didn't have time for her friends neither. Not like she wanted to be a third wheel for them as most had coupled up already. "Too busy busy. Just- for the moment I wanted to just rest. I'm exhausted.. I'm sure you are. I miss seeing you dance- I hope that is going well for you? I don't wanna see though- I know your probably tired already.." Getting slowly back to her happy self everyone remembered but she still seemed a lot more distant. Fed up with everything and the roguelands taunting her head and feet.
Tuaika He laughed lightly, a blush coming across his face, "Haha, yeah, kinda sad isn't it?" He said as he looked down at his paws. They both had their duties, and it seemed they hardly ever saw each other any more. By the time he was finished for the day, she was already in their den asleep, and some days vice versa. "I know what you mean." He said as he looked back up to her, "Some days I wish I could take a day off." Everyone knew that wasn't possible though. Even with all his siblings, knowing his family if he took a day off, things would go haywire.
Ebio "That is kinda sad." Shaking her head and looked over her cut. "Hm." Looking up with several blinks. Pondering it with a soft yawn. "Well, maybe you should skip out. I mean- are there not many of your siblings that could possibly take your place? Maybe even sometimes being late. Do something romantic. You can not lose sight of being happy you know." A motherly way to her came out. She was a natural for being a mother, just... not with her own cubs. She didn't have the luxury or so many said. So, she adopted them!

Tuaika He smiled, "Your right." He said as he thought about her suggestion. He did need a break, and with twelve other siblings running around there has to be someone who could cover for him. Or at least take on a few extra duties in the day. He did need to spend more time with Thwayya, that he knew. Maybe they could both take a day off and they could lounge by one of the oasis all day. Or they could take a walk around the pride boarders. Something... He hated being cooped up in the ruins all the time. It couldn't be healthy. "I'll have to talk it over with her, but I'm sure she'll like the idea." He smiled down at his old friend, "How's your cut?" He asked, looking down to her leg.
Ebio Shaking her head with a soft laugh as she thought about her old friend. Her best friend, she still remembered when they laughed together and played games still. The cub days, now they were just so ground apart. She wanted to come visit at some point soon though. "Of course she would. She is a girl you know~" Putting up her forepaw and examining the cut. "It's fine, don't worry." Sighing softly. Thoughtfullness. That was him, which got her falling in the first place but all those feelings disappeared as she willed it.
Then she looked around, oh the gods would plague her for breaking every last piece of artifact they had left. No- it was just their jars but still she blamed herself either way. "No point in fretting over these guys, I shall clean them up and try to make them better." With her paw pushing the broken pieces around and putting them close to the walls, if he wished to follow if not she woulkd talk to him regardless with her back turned or not. "Being a Prince must be hard.. having to be tore from your loved ones... The queen and king both find still ways to care for one another... do they not?"
Tuaika He stood up, and started to walk beside her. "You wouldn't think so, but with all the preparations for the big celebration coming up, everyone's been busy trying to get everything perfect." He laughed a little when she brought up his parents. "Yeah, they still manage. When we were cubs they would send all of us to our older siblings dens to watch us for a night so they could have some time alone." He smiled when he remembered playing with his older sister and her family. "I'm sure they still have nights like that. Especially since there aren't any more royal monsters running around anymore." He laughed lightly, remembering how much of a pain he was as a cub.
Ebio "Then~" She hinted, as she scooted more and more piles up together. Knowing full well she couldn't fix them until she found the keepers to help them. "You can do the same." Huffing a little, knowing too well that she was right. But when speaking of the celebration, she got grimmed and her ears padded down. "I'm excited for the celebration.." But she didn't sound too happy. Celebrations only brought upon more delight for others that did not have any in their own. The depression was getting to her obviously. Along with being a third wheel to most of her old friend's gatherings. "I bet everyone is going." A light sigh with a not so good looking praise upon her face. Weeks away from the celebration and it was fast approaching but how come she was not THAT excited as others?
Tuaika He helped her gather the pieces as they talked. He watched her and a look of concern came across his face. "You don't sound that excited." He said as he tilted is head to the side. "You alright? You've seemed kind of down lately." He had to admit, he was worried about her. She hadn't seemed herself, and it was very unlike her to be in a bad mood.
Ebio When he noticed, it was easy to know what she was feeling, with her eyes down she shook her head. "Hm?" Pushing some of the smaller pieces to the sides of the larger piles. Getting slower as she did and then lifted her head. "Down?" Questioning.. "Just been busy.." A lie, but she believed it- did it truly make it a lie? "I don't want to go~ If that is what your talking about." Eyeing him as she pushed everything aside and sat there. Leaning back a little and looking up at the carvings. the day was similar to half day. The sun was slowly making its way over..

Tuaika He didn't think she could be that busy, but maybe she was right. He had been busy a lot too. It was enough to make him a little down too. He smiled a little, "What? Why?" He asked, starting to get a little excited. "You should come, Thwayya and I will be there, you should join us. We've been making all these preparations, it'll be fun!" He exclaimed, his tail swaying from side to side in the sand. "I can't tell you what all is going to go on, we're still trying to get the kinks figured out, and some of the events are going to be a surprise." He said and smiled, "It'd be a shame if you didn't come. I know Thwayya will want to see you there." He said, mentioning their childhood friend. It had been a while since they were all together. Maybe this will be good for them.
Ebio Oh, Tuaika, he didn't know how much that effected her and thus wanting to be there in just that percise reason made her not want to go. "Maybe then.." Going up to him and putting a paw finally on his shoulder. Of course it looked like she wasn't going even when he had given her a reason to. "Maybe..You seem so cute~ Thwayya is very lucky.." Her voice was soft before leaning close to him and softly rubbing her forehead against his shoulder. "Your such a good friend, I had forgotten what its like.. thanks. I shall think it over then." Turning and slowly making her way through the ruin and called out. "Can anyone help me? Is anyone here~ I need.. some help~" Looking over the broken pieces, hopefully there was an artisan near by to hear her calling. Waving her tail as she waited.
Tuaika He blinked in confusing when she put her paw on his shoulder, "Haha, thanks, but I think I'm the lucky one." He smiled and watched her walk closer to the ruins. He followed and smiled, "Good, I'm glad you'll consider it." His ears perked and he looked back over from where he came. "Hey, I have to head back. I think another meeting is starting soon. I'll see you later alright?" He smiled at her, "Maybe we;ll see each other at the celebration?" He smiled and gave her a quick nudge before heading back towards the ruins. He missed seeing her, and this was good for him. He enjoyed her company. Now it was back to the boring meetings.
Ebio When he brushed his head against hers in her own comfort she took it almost selfishly. Of course, she would never betray a friend a she wouldn't ever think to make a move, that feeling was long since over. "You both are~" She winked. "Go on~ I have to fix things here~ IF I can find someone~" She laughed and waved her paw out to him. "Have fun~~~" She called out, in a teasing manner. That must SUCK to have to do so much like that. Sighing before she finally found someone and went to approach them about what happen and what she could do to help.
