
The sky was a sickly shade of yellow. The sound of thunder was as ubiquitous as fish flies at the lakefront and lightning lit up the sky like sunlight reflecting off the lake's surface. Rain beat down and drummed against the surface of the lake.
When Livewire first went to the Tirainia Lakefront to train, the weather was perfect. Hot and humid, but otherwise just perfect. Now, it wasn't. The change had happened so suddenly. It was, like, as soon as he had blinked, the weather had changed.
Despite the weather, he was determined not to head back home. Not yet. Not now.
"This is just a minor setback. It's not like I can't deal with a little rain." Now, he was plodding around on the shore, leaving wet footprints in the sand behind him.
Then, Livewire looked up and said,
"What's with this yellow sky? It should be a dark and stormy night. A yellow, stormy, afternoon is all wrong!"After that, he got an idea.
Maybe this weather isn't natural. Maybe it's the work of some magical monster! His eyes widened at that thought.
"No matter! I'll simply find it, beat it, and make everything all good again!"After this, he headed to the edge of the lake and shouted,
"Dragons, sea serpents, all monsters of the deep, I have come to defeat you in battle! If you're not cowards, then you'll come out right now. We'll duel with honor."No response.
