Honshi Art Projectile Description: For hundreds of years people have been using all sorts of weapons to gain the upper hand on their opponent, however, every generation one weapon seems to stick out like a sore thumb. At one point in history, the ability to attack an opponent from afar meant certain victory, the weapons that would perform this tasks would sometime later be known as projectiles. It may seem simple, aim and toss, but the ability to use these methods while in combat, and with extreme precision is in fact extremely complicated. This style enables users to bounce projectiles off of each other in mid flight with pre-determined patterns.
Rules: • Projectiles used must be of light or medium weight {Kunai, Senbon, etc} • Requires Agility as Primary or Secondary attribute
Dart Rank E Though it seems idiotic, this technique can prove useful in a pinch. The user will take their projectile and hold it in a different position then normal, and let it loose as though it were thrown with their normal focus and aim.
Pair Rank D The user will be able to grab multiple projectiles and throw them at once, even if they cannot through it in a traditional way.
Squib Throw Rank D The user will throw a shuriken very hard along the ground. It will travel along similar to skipping rock, or a certain punt in football. When it is close enough to the target, it will bounce upward in an attempt to pierce the enemy.
Shoelace Mishap Rank D The user will throw two shuriken out next to each other, not one following the other, both attached to each other by a ninja wire. The shuriken will wrap around an opponent's legs and cause them to trip.
Pincer Rank D The user will take two shuriken in each hand, and throw them so they will all reach one spot at the exact same time.
False Pincer Rank C The user will take two shuriken in each hand, and throw them so they will meet at one point, and give the appearance of hitting the same point. They will then veer off at the last second, and go their separate ways. The paths must be predetermined.
Trick Full House Rank C The user will begin by placing four of their projectiles between their fingers, and a single in their grip, they will follow by encrusting their hand with chakra, and then launch the projectiles out. If all of the weapons land generally in the same area, they will create an explosion worth half an explosive tag.
Dancing Shuriken Fail Rank C The user will toss out the shuriken in a spiral form. The destination must be predetermined, else it will not work. The shuriken will fly through the air in a spiral form, making it look as if they are aiming for the chest or another spot. Then, about 3 meters from the target, they will hit each other, bounce off, and launch out towards the predetermined spot.
Secret Stash Rank B A special technique favored by shinobi who often use their weaponry in barrage formations. After bringing out a small scroll, the user will perform the needed handsigns, then press one hand against the open paper. The user's hand will seep through the paper as if it were water, then retract with the desired amount of projectiles. Because the user must continue to reach into the scroll, this technique is typically only used when they are completely out of ammunition, additionally- each scroll contains only 25 kunai, 25 shuriken, and 30 senbon • Can only activate one scroll per battle • Scroll does not work both ways (Can only draw projectiles from it, you cannot place more inside of it)
Scroll Projection Rank D A rather useful technique that can only be performed after releasing the effects of 'Secret Stash'. The user will turn the scroll so that the draw point is facing their target, they will then press their palm against the back of the paper and surge a D ranked amount of chakra through their flattened hand. As the chakra moves through their hand, the user will cause anywhere from three to ten projectiles to fly out from scroll. • Requires 'Secret Stash' to have been used
Cage Rank B The user will toss about 6 projectiles with ninja wire into the air, and after a post, they will fall back down to the ground. Their goal is to create a cage around their opponent, about 5 meters in diameter, to cage in their opponent. The cage is about 5 meters in radius, restricting much movement.
Projectile Dance Rank B The user will use 8 shuriken or kunai attached to ninja wire [4 on each hand], and cast them out. They will be able to alter the directions of the projectiles in hopes to entangle the enemy.
Bent Arsenal Rank B The user will begin by drawing the desired amount of projectiles into their hand...They will then skillfully toss each projectile, one-by-one, at their target. However, there is a twist...a literal one! Each projectile is flung in such a way that they will arch at a certain point, causing most shinobi to evade right into the projectile's path.
Cage Spike Rank A The user will purposely miss the opponent, though the shots are supposed to look as if they were going to hit. They will arc skywards afterward. A second wave of projectiles is launched out, and hit the previous wave that were in the air. Both sets flip and begin to rain down on their opponent. The first wave are used to create a cage of ninja wire in a 5 meter radius about the opponent, limiting movement. The second wave act as the means of attacking, and will aim to pierce their target.
Trip Wire Rank A The user will begin by drawing a single projectile into their palm, and then lining it with a massive amount of chakra. They will then fling the weapon at an incredible speed, leaving behind it a trail of chakra...At any given point, the user will snap, causing the enhanced projectile to explode in a five yard radius, dealing roughly the damage of a B Ranked fireball ninjutsu • Can be applied to 3 projectiles, per use

Explosive Clan
This clan loves to make things EXPLODE! It has two branches, and the branch you want to use needs to be decided when you apply for the clan. Note: you can only be in one branch.
Amount of Clay:
Each rank has a limit of Clay Points [CU], and each level of the explosions [C1-4] takes a certain amount of CU.
Genin: 10 Chunin: 15 Special Jounin: 20 Jounin: 25 S-Rank: 30

Branch One Explosive Clay: This branch makes special clay that, when chakra is added, becomes explosive. As the user gains rank, he/she will be able to create better clay and add more chakra to make larger explosives. This clay can also be molded to form creatures that carry out the orders of the user. The host can detonate these clay bombs at any range. When the clay is used, it expands, meaning the creatures are hollow. The amount of clay used in the sculptures compared to the size of the finished product is rather small, but the chakra kneaded into it makes it swell like a sponge and grow much larger. The range of explosion varies by rank, starting at fifteen and rising by fifteen for each rank. This however changes to twenty if you are a sensor.
Weakness/Strength If a Ration jutsu of one rank below or higher than the level of the explosive (so C2 being hit by a D rank) hits your clay directly it will be defused and useless. However if it is an area of effect technique, the technique counts as one rank lower against the explosive clay.
Suiton causes the clay to swell and reduces it's speed by one rank but increases blast force by one explosive tag X the level of the explosive.
Genin [C1 Explosives]: The host is able to create small creatures, such as rats or pigeons, that can move around on their own and explode with the force of about half an explosive tag. The host can make the special clay needed for these explosions by gathering the amount of clay and paying 2 chakra and 1 stamina by chewing the substance with chakra mouths to form enough explosive clay to form 1 small creature or explosive. It then costs an additional 1 chakra point to detonate. At this stage each explosive has the force of half an explosive tag.
Chuunin [C2 Explosive]: The host can create bigger explosives, such as dogs or falcons, that have the explosive force of 1 explosive tag. It takes the necessary mass clay and 3 chakra points to form the explosive clay needed for the material. The user has an option of supplying an extra chakra point to make lightweight clay, which can be used to fly upon. Exposiosn from C 2 are equal to three explosive tags.
Jounin [C3 Explosive]: The user is now able to create larger models out of their explosive clay. They can create things the size of lions and larger birds. It takes the necessary clay and 7 chakra points to form the explosive clay needed for the material. The explosions are equal to the force of ten paper tags.
S-Rank [C4 Explosive]: The user is able to create massive clay explosives, but each creation will take a third of the user's clay to create. It costs 10 points to form the explosive from their clay. These explosions are on par with fifty paper tags.
Branch Two: Explosive Touch This clan can create explosions between their hands and the objects each hand touches, and the explosion becomes bigger the higher rank the user has and more surface area the hand has in contact with the object. This branch is also immune to the force and heat of its explosions caused by the clan technique.
Cost Explosions cost the same amount as the number of paper tags relative to the explosion, rounded UP to the nearest whole number. (So 1/6 would be 1 whole chakra point.) Your palm and thumb count as fingers in addition to your actual fingers.
Genin: At this rank, the user isn't very skillful at creating an explosion with their hands. It takes enough chakra that creating explosions becomes tiresome. If the user is able to lay a finger on the opponent the explosion would be equivalent of 1/6th of an explosive tag. If the user is able to get their entire hand and all fingers on the opponent, the explosion would be equivalent to 1 explosive tag.
Chuunin: The user is becoming more used to creating explosions, thus they cost less to actually create. If they were able to lay a finger on the opponent, it would be equivalent to 1/3 of an explosive tag. An entire hand or fist on the opponent would result in an explosion with the force of 2 paper tags. The cost is now 6 chakra points (a relatively small amount based on the fact that the cost barely increased at all.)
Special Jounin At this rank the user is much more enduring, able to pull off multiple, high ranking explosions with ease. A finger on the opponent would be equivalent to half an explosive tag, while an entire hand or fist would cause an explosion equaling that of four explosive tags.
Jounin The true potential of the explosion release becomes evident here as a large jump in power comes into play from the matured body and level of endurance compared to lower levels. The user should by now be able to pull off higher numbers of stronger, and more deadly explosions. One finger would allow for the force of 1 paper tag, while a whole fist or hand would bring in the force of 6 explosive tags.
S-Ranked True masters of the art of explosions, S ranked explosion release masters have access to a large amount of very deadly and high level explosions. S ranked shinobi will pull off the explosive force of 2 exploding tags, and an entire fist or hand would result in an explosion the size and force of 12 paper tags at once.

Physical Description: Yoruichi is very short, and pretty slight as well. She's full in the lady areas though. Her hair is short at the moment, but she intends to grow it out. Yoruichi is very feline like, which even shows up in her features. She has graceful movements, and even moves like a cat.
Personality: Yoruichi was born to be wild. She is incredibly playful, and very flirty. Yoruichi likes a challenge, and enjoys a good fight. Everything she does is always calculated, never rushes into something. Despite that, she likes speed. She enjoys people who can do something crazy and get away with it. Yoruichi loves fun.
Behavior:
No matter the situation, Yoruichi is mischievous. When alone, she is most likely to play pranks on people, or paint the town red. With others, Yoruichi will try to kick up conversations, and start parties, or do something that probably isn't a very good idea. She likes to flirt, and speaks her mind all the time. Even in combat she's playful, catcalling jokes and taunting left and right.

Taijutsu Class ninja can [TRAIN], enabling them to increase their Speed, Strength, Endurance, and Toughness. Every Taijutsu Class user must choose however how they will Train their RPC. Each RPC must make a choice... Either they can train each stat once, eventually raising them all by 1 rank, OR they can train just two stats, but one of the stats can be trained twice.
Tweak: Giving up Ken style for another Tai style
The Shihoin clan is all about Taijutsu. Jade is all about Taijutsu. Since she can remember, she's been training to fight, keeping her body in top physical condition in order to do so effectively.
Attributes:
Primary Attribute: Speed
Benefit: Speed Ninja receive a +1 rank bonus to their speed, but can even outperform those above their rank by a fair amount. As a Genin, they would be faster in their movements then even the average Chuunin, requiring somewhat of Sp. Jounin to keep up with or catch up to them. Their speed makes their movements blindingly fast, but it does not increase their reaction speed, and therefore does not increase their ability to evade incoming attacks. Higher level ninja with this attribute have been described as simply disappearing only to re-appear closer without showing any sign of movement in between.
However, not just movement speed is enhanced, but attack speed and tactile manipulation as well. With such an increase to the movement speed of their arms and hands, the deadliness of their strikes is enhanced, making such attacks difficult to keep up with as their movements seem like only a blur.
Combat Ability: Combat Ability - Once per combat, a ninja with this attribute can utilize a 'Burst' technique, which enables them either to increase their speed by an additional rank (Putting a Genin's speed above that of a Sp. Jounin) for one post or perform an additional action for that round, enabling them to string together combo maneuvers. (Normally, most shinobi would only be able to use one jutsu per combat post.)
Secondary Attribute: Agility: Ninja with this attribute are very flexible and masters of dexterity, enabling them to more easily evade incoming attacks and keep their balance at all times. Being master's of dexterity, they are also rather adept in the use of projectiles or in the use of weapons, allowing them to grip, hold, and use weapons in strange and interesting ways, often confounding their opponents with the flashy display.
Benefit: An Agility Ninja receives a +1 rank to their evasion, and enables them to more easily dodge techniques, effectively making them more reactive and quicker to respond to an attack then even the typical Chuunin . Projectiles thrown by an agility ninja very rarely miss, and therefore must be in some way deflected rather then dodged. Agility ninja also cannot be knocked off their feet and can balance quite naturally on even the thinnest of wires without requiring the use of chakra. Somehow these ninja always seem to land on their feet, just like cats.
Tertiary Attribute: Endurance: Through incredible amounts of physical training, these ninja have become masters of their own bodies and can push far beyond other people's limits. Using their great endurance, they can go harder and last longer in a fight, pulling off far more techniques then the average shinobi would be able to perform without getting tired.
Ninja with this attribute treat themselves as having stamina which is one rank higher then their current rank when placed in the Primary or Secondary Attribute slot. If placed in the Tertiary slot, it gives an additional 3 stamina per rank.
→ Jade has always been incredibly flexible and agile. Her graceful feline skills have always been present, may as well throw this in
Jade is called the Goddess of Flash for a reason. She will be the Queen of Speed, the Lady of Quick, the Empress of Disappearing and Reappearing. She's fast, and likes speed. Her agility comes into play even when she's walking. Jade is often compared to a cat, because of her gracefulness and natural feline attributes. Jade does a lot, especially in fighting. Endurance comes in handy at these times, that little extra stamina boost can make a difference.
Specialties:
Tactical Support: Ninja with this specialty are masters of combat and of reading and understanding their enemies. They are naturally intelligent and make excellent team leaders, assisting their allies and making them stronger and more capable by extension. Due to their intelligence, they also learn all techniques at a faster rate.
Benefit(s): All techniques, Taijutsu/Ninjutsu/Genjutsu/Bloodline etc... require 3 fewer posts to learn. In combat, they are particularly adept at evading incoming attacks (+1 to Evade) and they can easily identify the tactics and abilities being used by their opponents in combat (allowing them to identify tactical maneuvers and the breadth and power of the jutsu an enemy is signing). Teammates under a tactical support specialist's leadership gain +1 rank bonus to Evasion and Speed, and can combo more effectively, allowing their allies perform two jutsu per post... so long as they have had the plan laid out to them directly.
Combo: Masters of stringing moves together in one attack after the other, Combo Specialists are a fearsome group to deal with. With their innate ability to combine their quick wits and their incredible dexterity, they are able to perform twice as many actions as other ninja can in the same amount of time, giving them a supreme edge in combat. Forcing their opponents to deal with a set of attacks one after the other rather then a single directed attack like most others, Combo Specialists excel at keeping the pressure on and backing their opponents into a corner hard and fast.
Benefit(s): Whereas the average shinobi can only perform a single Nin-/Gen-/Tai-/Ken-jutsu in a post, Combo Specialists can perform 2 such jutsu in any combination they wish. In addition to this, when jutsu are performed back to back, one immediately after the other, both attacks always occur. The first attack can be blocked, dodged, or parried, but it cannot be negated or diverted in such a way that the second attack no longer occurs. The second attack always occurs after the first, making the Combo Specialist's opponent forced to deal with both attacks.

Shunkō {Flash Cry} 
History: The Shunkō style was created by Jade Shihoin. It deals with speed, and a lot of it. Chakra is also used in this style, which is used to create the Shunkō. Those who take this style will be moving around constantly, never remaining still.
Rules: • Speed oriented users only
Bonuses/Drawbacks: • +3 Stamina per rank • -1 Rank to Toughness
General Fighting Style: The users of Shunkō are fast. They use speed to their advantage to get into and out situations quickly. The attacks may not be the strongest, but come in large quantities. The users will try to wear down their opponent, and deliver a finishing blow. The Flash Step is one of the most used techniques, making it the signature move for the style.
Training Method: The user would train by constant pushing of their speed, endurance, and agility. Not only that, but they need to have a fairly good grasp over their chakra control as well.
• Stage One Shihōin clansmen at this stage are first being introduced to the Flashcry techniques. Their control over the Shunkō is terrible at best, and they are not able to use it much to a proper extent.
Blink Step - Rank: D The user is just starting out in learning how to use the Flash Cry method. Their control over it is very limited, and they cannot move very far from their position, or use it many times in rapid succession. With the Blink Step they are able to move a foot from their position in either direction. If this technique is used thrice in a row the cost doubles.
Flashcry Hit I - Rank: D The user is now able to generate Shunkō to their hands or feet, but not able to sustain it any longer than for a single hit. Because the hit is charged with Shunkō it hits +1/2 a rank harder and faster. If this technique is used thrice in a row the cost doubles.
• Stage Two Now more accustomed to using Shunkō the Shihōin clansmen does not have issues sustaining for a combination of attacks. They also are able to use the prior techniques from Stage One in succession without costs doubling.
Splash Step - Rank: D The clansmen is much better at focusing Shunkō to their body. This is a form of stepping that allows the user to act as a light bomb when they appear. If the enemy is looking in the direction of the user they will be affected. This does not last an entire post, but merely is a set up for any other attack. The draw back is they are only able to flash two feet from their position when using Splash Step.
Flash Step - Rank: C Flash Step is the second stage to Blink Step. This is the signature move that has given the Shihōin clan their name. With this technique they are able to move 6 feet in any direction.
Flashcry Fist II - Rank: C Able to better focus Shunkō the clansmen is now able to deliver much harsher blows. Using Shunkō, they are able to deliver two hits in one with the speed that Shunkō gives to them. The hits are +1/2 a Rank stronger and faster.
• Stage Three The Shihōin clansmen has entered a level of proficiency with the Shunkō that makes them a true force to reckon with.They are masters of their speed and are able to use the Shunkō with such ease. They've found other uses for Shunkō other than punching and kicking people.
Shunkō Jump - Rank: C The clansmen has learned to use their Shunkō in different manners. Rather than using the Shunkō they gather in their legs to attack they can propel themselves to new heights. Not only that but the Shunkō generates a platform to jump off of, which allows the user to double jump in the air.
Extension - Rank: B (Passive) Once this technique is learned it becomes a passive to the user. Whenever they use a technique to attack that involves Shunkō they passively extend that attack with the Shunkō. This pushes out the technique by about a foot, so even if the limb does not connect the hits may still land.
Afterimage - Rank: A (Passive) The clansmen at this point has perfected their Flash step. Now they are able to manipulate their Shunkō to produce an afterimage of themselves. This serves as a distraction.
Shunkō Cloak - Rank: B The clansmen is able to wrap their body in Shunkō, which grants them a rank in speed. This lasts for five posts, and upon deactivation the user suffers a -1 rank in speed for 3 posts. Due to the Shunkō exploding out of the users body and then wrapping around, it tends to blow out the back of the clansmen's shirt. If the clansmen uses this technique twice in one battle it will cause them to strain the muscles in their legs, reducing their speed by -1 rank till a medic is able to relieve the pain.
• Stage Four After having perfected Shunkō use for supplementary means the user now focuses on perfecting the offensive uses. These last techniques are the most deadly when used properly, and only those who have mastered every other technique may move onto learning these. Over-usage of these techniques actually causes bodily harm.
Shunkō Blasts - Rank: B This technique can be used in conjunction with other Shihōin clan techniques. The clansmen charges Shunkō to their limb and then releases it upon impact. Because it is basically raw chakra shooting out it tends to leave burns behind, as well as explode with blunt force. If this is used in conjunction with Flash Step or another technique that allows for combos, the blast is only applied to a single hit. Each time this technique is used the limb that it is shot from is burned. On the first use its only minor burning, but the second will worsen the burns, and the third will be akin to third degree burns.

This technique cannot be used in conjunction with another due to the level of chakra focus required. The Clansmen will gather a large amount of Shunkō to one of their limbs, usually hands. Then, they will release this blast of Shunkō, which has a 8 meter attack range. Not only does this cause harsh burns on the outer layer of skin, this burns the muscles as well. To use this technique twice in a row would leave the limbs with 3rd degree burns. If an opponent is hit with this they will suffer the blunt force of the attack as well as the burns that accompany it.

 Shihōin Clan
History The Shihōin Family is a very old and wealthy family. They are nobles of the Fire Country, and are known for a specific style of combat. Each Shihōin member who chooses to become a shinobi is a Taijutsu user, as that is what the clan specializes in. There has been but a few cases of the Shihōin clan where their members are known for their raw physical power. They have made their mark as the fastest Shinobi around.
Rules: • Must be of the Taijutsu Class • Speed must be a Primary or Secondary • Must learn each stage of the Flash Cry before moving onto the next stage of it
Abilities: • Learn Taijutsu techniques -1 post faster • +1/2 Rank to Speed/Agility • + 1/2 Rank to Endurance • Techniques do not require hand seals
Weaknesses • Glass Cannons: The Shihōin clansmen are fast and can endure in a battle, as long as they don't take a solid hit. They take a -1 in Rank to toughness, making physical attacks against them stronger.
• Chakra Focus: Because Shunkō requires the user to focus their chakra in specific parts of their body it is nigh on impossible for the Shihōin to use a genjutsu or ninjutsu in conjunction with the clan techniques.
Techniques:
• Stage One Shihōin clansmen at this stage are first being introduced to the Flashcry techniques. Their control over the Shunkō is terrible at best, and they are not able to use it much to a proper extent.
Blink Step - Rank: D The user is just starting out in learning how to use the Flash Cry method. Their control over it is very limited, and they cannot move very far from their position, or use it many times in rapid succession. With the Blink Step they are able to move a foot from their position in either direction. If this technique is used thrice in a row the cost doubles.
Flashcry Hit I - Rank: D The user is now able to generate Shunkō to their hands or feet, but not able to sustain it any longer than for a single hit. Because the hit is charged with Shunkō it hits +1/2 a rank harder and faster. If this technique is used thrice in a row the cost doubles.
• Stage Two Now more accustomed to using Shunkō the Shihōin clansmen does not have issues sustaining for a combination of attacks. They also are able to use the prior techniques from Stage One in succession without costs doubling.
Splash Step - Rank: D The clansmen is much better at focusing Shunkō to their body. This is a form of stepping that allows the user to act as a light bomb when they appear. If the enemy is looking in the direction of the user they will be affected. This does not last an entire post, but merely is a set up for any other attack. The draw back is they are only able to flash two feet from their position when using Splash Step.
Flash Step - Rank: C Flash Step is the second stage to Blink Step. This is the signature move that has given the Shihōin clan their name. With this technique they are able to move 6 feet in any direction.
Flashcry Fist II - Rank: C Able to better focus Shunkō the clansmen is now able to deliver much harsher blows. Using Shunkō, they are able to deliver two hits in one with the speed that Shunkō gives to them. The hits are +1/2 a Rank stronger and faster.
• Stage Three The Shihōin clansmen has entered a level of proficiency with the Shunkō that makes them a true force to reckon with.They are masters of their speed and are able to use the Shunkō with such ease. They've found other uses for Shunkō other than punching and kicking people.
Shunkō Jump - Rank: C The clansmen has learned to use their Shunkō in different manners. Rather than using the Shunkō they gather in their legs to attack they can propel themselves to new heights. Not only that but the Shunkō generates a platform to jump off of, which allows the user to double jump in the air.
Extension - Rank: B (Passive) Once this technique is learned it becomes a passive to the user. Whenever they use a technique to attack that involves Shunkō they passively extend that attack with the Shunkō. This pushes out the technique by about a foot, so even if the limb does not connect the hits may still land.
Afterimage - Rank: A (Passive) The clansmen at this point has perfected their Flash step. Now they are able to manipulate their Shunkō to produce an afterimage of themselves. This serves as a distraction.
Shunkō Cloak - Rank: B The clansmen is able to wrap their body in Shunkō, which grants them a rank in speed. This lasts for five posts, and upon deactivation the user suffers a -1 rank in speed for 3 posts. Due to the Shunkō exploding out of the users body and then wrapping around, it tends to blow out the back of the clansmen's shirt. If the clansmen uses this technique twice in one battle it will cause them to strain the muscles in their legs, reducing their speed by -1 rank till a medic is able to relieve the pain.
• Stage Four After having perfected Shunkō use for supplementary means the user now focuses on perfecting the offensive uses. These last techniques are the most deadly when used properly, and only those who have mastered every other technique may move onto learning these. Over-usage of these techniques actually causes bodily harm.
Shunkō Blasts - Rank: B This technique can be used in conjunction with other Shihōin clan techniques. The clansmen charges Shunkō to their limb and then releases it upon impact. Because it is basically raw chakra shooting out it tends to leave burns behind, as well as explode with blunt force. If this is used in conjunction with Flash Step or another technique that allows for combos, the blast is only applied to a single hit. Each time this technique is used the limb that it is shot from is burned. On the first use its only minor burning, but the second will worsen the burns, and the third will be akin to third degree burns.

Toad Contract
Toads possess a wide range of abilities, being able to spit water or oil from their mouths as well as utilising things ranging from their own tongues and weapons in battle. What is most unusual is that they are one of the few species able to do ninjutsu, and one of the few animals thus far capable of hand signs. Toads are also familiar with senjutsu, making them (along with their contractor) very powerful when invoked on the battlefield.
They vary greatly in size; ranging from giant summons such as Gamabunta, Gamaken and Gamahiro that tower over trees and can dwarf large rock formations, while others such as Gamakichi and Gamatatsu, were small enough in Part I to ride on a man's head. The two have got much bigger since their last appearances, Naruto now being capable of standing on their backs. The toads have also shown unique personalities; Gamatatsu has a fixation for snacks and Gamakichi enjoys watching battles from safe distances. Their father, Gamabunta, speaks like a yakuza gangster, who won't work with anyone he doesn't respect. Despite this, he is fiercely protective of his children and Naruto, and will fight for their safety regardless of his respect for the summoner (or, more likely, whether or not Jiraiya was on his good side). Gamaken, who was introduced in Part II, spends the bulk of his appearances commenting on how weak and clumsy he is.
The toad elders seem to hold high positions in toad society; the Great Toad Sage, an ageing and somewhat senile toad, hands down wisdom and predictions to the younger generations and is highly respected for his track record of always being right. Getting to meet with him is considered a great honour. A married toad couple, Shima and Fukasaku, assist the Great Sage in his work. They also seem to be particularly powerful, as Jiraiya summoned them to help him during a battle with Pain. Jiraiya spoke to both of them very respectfully, whereas with most other toads he treated as his equals. Although Shima and Fukasaku constantly bicker over such things as dinner and Jiraiya's immaturity, their combined efforts were enough to defeat three of Pain's bodies.
Mount Myōboku's population also includes unique species of toads and other toad-like amphibians; two such examples are "Scroll Toads", (such as Gerotora) a rare species that will reside within the body of their contractor, guarding closely whatever secret is written on their scroll-abdomen until their contractor dies. The "Gourd Toad" is identified by their gourd-shaped bodies and have a stomach space that is far larger than the toad itself as a feature. Another example of Mount Myōboku's diverse populi is the amphibian, possibly also a toad, that served as Fukasaku's perch when he came to Konohagakure to bring them the news of Jiraiya's death.
Rules: • Toads are able to use the Ninjutsu listed under them and nothing more • There are even toads who know Senjutsu, only those that are listed • Toads mainly use Oil and Water techniques
Summoning List
Name: Kōsuke - Rank: E Kōsuke (こうすけ, Kōsuke) was a young messenger toad from Mount Myōboku. He seemed to be a very happy and cheerful toad, and took orders without hesitation. Kōsuke is predominantly red in colour with blue markings around his eyes and on top of his head. He also wears a pair of green goggles. On his back he has the kanji for the word "gold" (金, kin). He's good for sending quick messages.
Name: Gerotara - Rank: D Gerotora (ゲロ寅, Gerotora) is a scroll toad, a rare species that closely guards whatever secret has been written on its scroll-abdomen until his contractor dies. He resides in the belly of his contractor, and is known for his excellent endurance. Gerotora guards the scroll which acts as the holder of the "key" to the Eight Trigrams Seal located on Naruto Uzumaki's stomach. He was summoned during the Nine-Tailed Demon Fox's attack on Konoha by Minato Namikaze, who inscribed the key onto his stomach for safekeeping. Minato left the key to Jiraiya upon his death.
Techniques:
• Inscribe - Rank: E The user is able to inscribe any information they wish onto the scroll section of Gerotara. Gerotara is able to bring this information to whoever the user wishes and will not unravel for anyone other than the designated people.
Name: Gamakichi Rank: C
He is rather funny, and has the mannerisms of a smart aleck. He is also often very condescending as well as light-hearted in most situations, preferring the levity of talk to the seriousness of battle. He seems to favour Naruto because he saved him from Gaara in his miniature Shukaku form. After he is summoned he tends to greet people by saying, "Yo" (in English dub, "Hey"). In Part II, Gamakichi has not just grown in size but in maturity as well. Gamakichi seems to have a considerably large amount of knowledge when it comes to human-toad combination techniques and nature energy. Also, he seems to be on better terms with his younger brother, Gamatatsu, as shown by him no longer calling him an idiot.
Techniques:
• Fire Release: Flame Bullet - Rank: C This technique is executed by the user gathering oil in their mouth which is created by chakra, spitting it out, and igniting it. This technique simply shoots a flame bullet at the enemy. If the amount of oil that is prepared is kept down, the time it takes to invoke the technique is reduced. This allows the enemy to be stricken unaware, allowing the oil-containing flame bullet to burn them up completely. It is also possible to shoot out a series of flame bullets by partitioning the oil, or a continuous flamethrower. If this technique is fired after covering the enemy with oil using the Toad Oil Bullet, it has the power to wound or kill. This also keeps down the consumption of chakra. There is a bigger version, augmented with senjutsu chakra, called the Fire Release: Big Flame Bullet technique.
• Shrinking Technique - Rank: D Gamatatsu and Gamakichi can use this technique to shrink to the size they were in Part I. This can be used for a number of useful things such as sneaking and being carried if too tired to go somewhere on their own. Nekomata can also perform this technique.
• Reverse Summoning - Rank: D The counterpart of the Summoning Technique, this technique allows an animal to summon humans that they have a contract with. Gamakichi used this technique to summon Naruto to Mount Myōboku to begin his training. Fukasaku has also been shown summoning Naruto's shadow clones from Mount Myōboku with the use of a scroll.
Name: Gamatatsu Rank: C
From his first appearance, Gamatatsu has shown that he would choose snacks over someone's life; after Naruto was injured whilst fighting Kabuto Yakushi, he asked, "Hey, Gamakichi, do we have to wait for the kid to croak till we get snacks, 'cause I'm getting hungry." However, in the filler arcs, Gamatatsu showed that he does care about Naruto's life, as he was ready to rescue him before his older brother Gamakichi talked him out of it. Though he has a somewhat naive and childish personality, Gamatatsu does sometimes make use of his natural curiosity to help Naruto solve puzzles (like the mystery of the Ghost Warrior in the Land of Birds Arc). Gamatatsu's obsession with snacks is so great that he waited a year since his first summon for the snack he had been promised, even though he still didn't get it. He is always hungry and asking his summoner for snacks, and often gets confused by unusual predicaments, in which he counts on his "big brother Gamakichi" to help him with. In the English anime, his voice is jocularly high. He also openly refers to his father Gamabunta as "daddy", which the older toad either chooses to ignore or simply doesn't mind. Gamatatsu seems to lack a sense of danger. When Orochimaru summoned Manda, Gamatatsu was too busy saying hello to his father to notice that the giant snake was staring at him. The young toad did not seem frightened in the least until Gamakichi told him to run. However, this fearlessness may also have been due to his titanic and overprotective father's presence, or his lack of a sense of endangerment.
Techniques:
• Shrinking Technique - Rank: D Gamatatsu and Gamakichi can use this technique to shrink to the size they were in Part I. This can be used for a number of useful things such as sneaking and being carried if too tired to go somewhere on their own. Nekomata can also perform this technique.
• Toad Oil Bullet - Rank: C The user converts their chakra into an extremely sticky oil and spits this out as a huge mass. When this oil touches the target, their entire body is covered, and it prevents them from moving. Simply washing the oil away with regular water wouldn't be easy. Furthermore, if a Fire Release technique is thrown at the target after this technique is used, they will be enveloped in flames in an instant.
• Water Release: Water Gun - Rank: C This technique is demonstrated as being both a technique on its own and as a two-way collaboration technique between Gamariki and Jiraiya. Using this technique, Gamariki can blast off a wave of high speed water from his mouth with extreme precision and force. When combined with another person's chakra, this technique becomes a two-way collaboration water technique that can slice the target into multiple fine-carved pieces. After Gamatatsu learns this technique, he is able to combine it with Naruto's wind-natured chakra to create the Wind Release: Toad Gun technique.
Name: Gama - Rank: C Gama seems to be skilled in taijutsu, which benefits from his large size and toad traits, as seen when smashing around a skilled ninja such as Ebisu with his long, extendible tongue. He also appears to possess considerably great strength, being capable of blocking an attack from Kisame Hoshigaki, known for being immensely strong, with his armour, which prevented him from having his chakra absorbed by Kisame's Samehada.
Techniques:
• Whip of Love - Rank: D The user (normally a toad) stretches its tongue out with an incredible speed and force, delivering a powerful blow to the opponent. The toad may also use its tongue to wrap around the enemy and smash them into the ground.
Name: Gamahiro - Rank: B Gamahiro is a huge toad, easily towering over buildings and trees. He has an aquamarine skin tone and yellow eyes with grey markings around them and two distinct, circular markings on his shoulders. He also carries two huge katanas on his back, which are his main weapons with an orange sash around his stomach. In the anime in Part I, he was coloured brown. Gamahiro wields two large swords with great proficiency, able to use them to easily dispatch his enemies. He has also shown aptitude in close-range taijutsu.
Name: Gamaken - Rank: B Gamaken is very modest. He is constantly referring to how clumsy he is, and often seems nervous. While fighting the Animal Path's summons during Pain's invasion, he once again states how ungraceful he is to Gamabunta. Despite this, he has shown no signs of being anymore clumsy or "ungraceful" than other toads in the series, albeit he also says that he will always do his best. His nickname "Ken-san" gives him a sense of reliability like that of someone who will definitely be there for a timely rescue when in dire straits.
In spite of his lack of confidence in his abilities, Gamaken is actually a very powerful combatant. His fighting style revolved around armed melee combat with both a sasumata and a shield which he wields with extreme proficiency. His skill was shown both times he confronted Pain's summons as he was initially able to fend off many different summons while Jiraiya prepared to summon the Two Great Sage Toads and then later able to deal a detrimental blow to Pain's Giant Rhino when summoned to defend Konoha. In the anime his satsumata can be used to create explosions adding an even more deadly surprise to his attacks. He is also very agile as he evaded many attacks while fighting in an industrialised city. He uses his shield both defensively, to guard against attacks as well as like a flail and even for other supplementary purposes. He has great endurance and commitment as he had taken many bite wounds from Pain's dog summon but nevertheless, still continued to fight.
Techniques:
• Exploding Sasumata Attack - Rank: C Gamaken attacks the opponent using his Sasumata, which causes explosions to occur wherever he hits.
Name: Gamariki - Rank: B Gamariki is predominantly very flamboyant in his actions, often making extensive use of bodily gestures to bring his feelings across. He also has a tendency to refer to persons with the suffix "-chan" in a manner that would be deemed cute. On the other hand when he became serious his voice that was normally high-pitched would take on a deep, serious tone which is assumed to be his normal voice. Despite this very flamboyant nature, he could be very serious when situations called for it.
Gamariki is able to use some of the more generic techniques of the toads such as the Whip of Love. He is also able to use Water Release technique in conjunction with his summoner to produce powerful collaboration techniques such as the Water Release: Water Gun. Gamariki has also shown himself proficient in genjutsu, able to induce these through kissing his target sending them into a world of hallucinations.
Techniques:
• Genjutsu Kiss - Rank: B Gamariki kisses the opponent, placing them in an illusionary world. When Naruto was trapped in his genjutsu, the world had floating hearts. Everyone that the person sees in this illusory world will also have Gamakiri's face.
• Whip of Love - Rank: D The user (normally a toad) stretches its tongue out with an incredible speed and force, delivering a powerful blow to the opponent. The toad may also use its tongue to wrap around the enemy and smash them into the ground.

Name: Great Toad Sage - Rank: A The Great Toad Sage (大ガマ仙人, Ōgama Sennin) is the oldest and most respected toad of all the inhabitants of Mount Myōboku. Because of his age, the other toads affectionately call him Great Honourable Geezer (大じじ様, Ōjiji-sama). He is famed for his highly accurate prophecies.
At his great age, the Great Toad Sage seems to constantly smile and tends to have his eyes closed or squinting. He is portrayed and described as being senile, and sometimes out of touch with his present situation, so he does tend to forget things easily and quite quickly. However, when reminded, he is still able to remember things and can easily tell things very precisely. As a sage, he is also very wise, and is quick to stop Shima and Fukasaku from bickering and encourages harmony. It would seem that unlike most other toads, he actually has respect for Jiraiya, and has urged both Shima and Fukasaku to cooperate with him.
Techniques:
• Telescope Technique - Rank: A A technique that uses a crystal ball to track a particular individual anywhere they are. There are a few restrictions about the person that is subjected to pursuit. The user must know that person's chakra pattern. If someone can be targeted for pursuit, they may be very far away, the crystal ball will be able to confirm their position. As this technique is infallible for intelligence purposes, the Third Hokage used it to maintain public order in the village.
Name: Gamabunta - Rank: S Gamabunta is a grumpy and highly apathetic toad. He does not like to take orders from anyone, unless the summoner is highly talented and earns his respect. Jiraiya, Naruto and the Fourth Hokage are three of the few people that he has allowed to ride on top of his head without question. While he is quite confident of his abilities as a fighter, he is well aware of his limitations and perceptive of the power of his enemies, shown in his apprehension when confronting Shukaku head-on. He speaks in Hiroshima dialect and uses some Japanese words that only a yakuza gangster would use, but he is portrayed as an ultimately powerful and positive force. He is fiercely protective of his kin, where in one instant only decided to fight Shukaku after hearing the opponent attacked his children despite believing it to be suicidal only moments before. He hates to be underestimated by anyone, both of which take precedence over his normal apathy. Often, it is one or a combination of these two factors that entices him to fight.
Overall, despite his grumpy exterior, he shows sympathy to Naruto as if he were a son. He even explained to Jiraiya that he was aware of Naruto's talents and potential. He and Jiraiya seemed to be good friends and, as implied in the series, drinking buddies, despite Jiraiya's admitted lack of control over Gamabunta. However, he would scold him on occasion.
In all his battles Gamabunta has proven to be a powerful fighter, regardless of whether or not his summoner is by his side. Gamabunta also exhibits a wise and knowledgeable demeanour, as seen during the fight against Shukaku, where he demonstrated his extensive experience by ordering Naruto to forcibly awaken Gaara.
Despite his great size, he possesses surprising agility, as shown when he leapt out of the crevice that Naruto had first summoned him to, reaching a considerable height above the ground before crashing back again into the forest. Gamabunta showed great skill at fighting in mid-air using a number of successive kicks. Gamabunta's arsenal includes a large tantō, which he can wield to inflict colossal damage with due to his immense size and strength. Gamabunta was able to use his huge mass to temporarily pin Kurama. His durability is very high, able to take a direct Wind Release: Drilling Air Bullet from the Shukaku and immediately retaliate.
Gamabunta is a water release user, able to use water release techniques such as the Water Release: Gunshot out of his mouth, making a formidable force against Fire Release users. As well as water techniques, Gamabunta can also spew oil from his mouth for use in a synchronised collaboration jutsu, called the Fire Release: Toad Oil Flame Bullet technique, in cooperation with his summoner. While his summoner prepares a fire technique (or another source of ignition), Gamabunta will prepare a mouthful of oil to fire out of his mouth at high pressure. When Gamabunta is ready, he will shoot the oil out at the target while his summoner, (Jiraiya or Naruto), ignites the oil. The oil, acting as an accelerant, fuels the fire, creating a conflagration of far greater magnitude and force than the original fire ninjutsu had used.
Techniques:
• Combination Transformation - Rank: B An advanced form of the Transformation Technique, the Combination Transformation transforms two users into one being. In some cases, when one user is preocupied or cannot use hand seals, one may perform the necessary hand seals, while the other may provide the chakra. Naruto used this method with Gamabunta in their fight against Gaara's full Shukaku form to assume the appearance of a giant fox (Kurama in the anime).
• Toad Oil Bullet - Rank: C The user converts their chakra into an extremely sticky oil and spits this out as a huge mass. When this oil touches the target, their entire body is covered, and it prevents them from moving. Simply washing the oil away with regular water wouldn't be easy. Furthermore, if a Fire Release technique is thrown at the target after this technique is used, they will be enveloped in flames in an instant.
• Toad Sword Beheading - Rank: A A technique only a toad can use, by employing its characteristic bodily features. Its strong hips and legs give birth to an uncommonly precise leap, with which it slices at its target. Since the interval is covered in the blink of an eye, the opponent has to be pretty damn fast to react, let alone counter or dodge. Gamabunta uses this together with his huge dosu
• Water Release: Gunshot - Rank: C The user kneads chakra, and converts it into water, and then spits it out in the form of condensed balls. The high-speed water ball attack possesses just as much power to kill as an actual gunshot. While this is a water release technique, it can still be employed someplace where no water is available, which is a great advantage. It is also possible to increase the power of destruction of the spheres themselves by building up the chakra inside of them. The number of bullets is determined while kneading chakra. By taking advantage of gravity, the bullets can brutally increase in power. With a user the size of Gamabunta, the bullets can actually be more like cannonballs, making them much deadlier.
Name: Shima and Fukasaku - Rank: S Shima and Fukasaku are always summoned together and known as the 'Two Great Sage Toads'. Shima is a kind-hearted and very motherly toad, loved by all the residents of Mt. Mount Myōboku. Fukasaku is considered a very wise toad, respected by all. Together, the two seem to constantly bicker but are in truth very much in love.
Shima is known for her keen analyses of the situations and circumstances of the battles she participates in. She can quickly figure out the best plan and will turn into the control centre that will make sure that plan is executed. She also has excellent sensing skill, apparently because of her tongue, which allow her to detect and apprehend her enemy with ease. The warts on her tongue can release a highly corrosive mucus. She has been shown to possess a very large amount of chakra, evidenced by her ability to enter Sage Mode. She was even able to bring forth Gamabunta, Gamahiro, Gamaken, Fukasaku, Gamakichi and Naruto Uzumaki with a single summoning technique.
In battle, Fukasaku and Shima are extremely formidable. After Shima extends a serpent-like creature from her stomach to seek out the opponent, Fukasaku can quickly strike with his tongue. Both are capable of exerting powerful gusts of wind. Also, they are highly intelligent, as they quickly determined a weakness in the way Pain used his Rinnegan. Shima and Fukasaku are able to use senjutsu. Senjutsu is a specialised field of techniques that allows the user to sense and then gather the natural energy around a person and draw it inside them, then blending it with their own chakra to create senjutsu chakra. This natural energy-empowered state grants the practitioner a high amount of a type of chakra which is stronger than other types of chakra. Other benefits include an unnaturally high level of raw strength, incredible speed, and huge resistance to physical attacks. With it, he is able to raise a frog statue much heavier than himself, and even throw.
Techniques:
[Shima and Fukasaku] [Sage Mode] • Demonic Illusion: Toad Confrontation Chart - Rank: S This is a sound-based genjutsu passed down on Mount Myōboku. Because learning it requires many long years of training, only the Two Great Sage Toads, Fukasaku and Shima, have the skills to perform it. It is said to be the most powerful genjutsu in their arsenal. It is immensely powerful and only has to reach the target's sense of hearing to be a success. Even if there are several hundred targets, they are completely disconnected from each other. Inside the genjutsu world, the targets are surrounded from all sides by four toad samurai, with their mind and body completely sealed between their hands in an illusionary cube of water. The four unmoving toads won't lift the complete binding until the user gives the order. After the enemies have been caught in the genjutsu, all that is left to do is to strike the finishing blow in the real world, with Mount Myōboku's secret Stone Swords (石剣, Ishiken) which are driven into the targets' hearts like a wedge.
Despite this technique's great power, it takes some time for the users to synchronise melodies, and since it uses sound, it gives away their location, allowing opponents to attack them while it is being prepared. It also makes Shima and Fukasaku's throats dry, meaning it cannot be used repeatedly.
Shima • Fighting Tongue Bind - Rank: B After focusing senjutsu chakra to it, Shima's tongue grows to its maximum limit and is reshaped with a face. The tongue will then seek out the scent of its target. When the target is found, she ensnares it to prevent escape and marks it with a corrosive chemical. After the enemy is found Fukasaku can use the Fighting Tongue Slash on it.
Fukasaku • Fighting Tongue Slash - Rank: B By kneading senjutsu chakra, Fukasaku's long tongue gains utmost solidity and sharpness. It then leaps from his mouth with tremendous speed and force, even tearing a hole in the bedrock and through metal pipes. With that ground-splitting power, the enemy is cut in half. The way that both the enemy and the ground itself are cut apart is reminiscent of the strike of a great sword.
Shima and Fukasaku • Sage Art: Amphibian Technique - Rank: S This technique is used by Shima and Fukasaku to fuse with Jiraiya. It maximises the sage chakra for the person they are fused to and allows them to access Sage Mode. This also allows Fukasaku and Shima to continuously gather natural energy for Jiraiya, as he cannot do so himself while on the move, thus eliminating the weakness of exhausting all of his natural energy in battle. Fukasaku and Shima were not able to fuse with Naruto Uzumaki because Kurama rejected them. The two elder toads cannot move while this is in use.
Shima and Fukasaku • Sage Art: Frog Call - Rank: B After focusing Senjutsu chakra to their throats, both Fukasaku and Shima croak together in unison, releasing large, loud and immensely powerful sound waves that effectively annoy, distract and temporarily paralyse any afflicted targets completely. Shima and Fukasaku • Sage Art: Goemon - Rank: S It's a collaboration technique used by Jiraiya with Shima and Fukasaku. After having driven the enemy into a corner, for instance indoors or in a pit, then on Shima's command Jiraiya creates a large volume of oil, followed by Fukasaku performing a large Wind Release technique to propel the oil and Shima performing a large Fire Release technique to ignite it. Within an instant, that area will be filled with oil burning at temperatures of thousands of degrees. The super heated oil creates an inferno of such magnitude that, within an instant, the target and the surrounding area will be reduced to cinders.
Shima • Sage Art: Fire Release - Rank: A Shima shoots out a continuous stream of fire from her mouth. When it is used collaboration with Jiraya's Toad Oil Bullet and Fukasaku's Sage Art: Wind Release Stream, it ignites the oil, super-heating it to create a massive attack.
Fukasaku • Sage Art: Wind Release Stream - Rank: A By blowing air from their mouth, the user is able to change direction while in mid-air at high speeds. In the anime, it was shown it can also be used to blow up a dust cloud, concealing one's location and movements. Not only that it is powerful enough to repel attacks under its rank, as well as projectiles. If it were to hit a being it would do so with extreme blunt force.
Shima: • Sage Art: Wind Release Dust Cloud - Rank: B Shima exhales a massive cloud of dust from her mouth, which is thick enough that it is capable of blocking the target's vision completely. The dust cloud is also large enough to hide a summon as large as Gamabunta.
Fukasaku • Frog Kata - Rank: S The Frog Kata is a fighting style used exclusively by those who have mastered Sage Mode. The senjutsu chakra used during Sage Mode activates the body in various ways, enhancing the user's speed, strength, stamina and durability. This allows a sage to do incredible feats which include leaping great distances, shattering sharp materials with their hands, as well as lifting objects several times their size. When using Frog Kata, the natural energy used by the practitioner to create senjutsu chakra also encapsulates the user as an aura of natural energy. This aura can act as an extension of their body and cannot be seen by anyone other than those who have trained in senjutsu. By utilising the aura, the user can extend the range and force of their physical attacks. Strikes that seemingly or would normally miss will actually make contact with the target. One punch has been shown to have enough force to cripple and completely finish off an opponent.
In addition, the enhanced speed and heightened chakra sensing from Sage Mode, combined with the skillful body movements of Frog Kata, allows the practitioner to evade enemy strikes at the last possible moment
Summoner Techniques/Sage Mode Not only is the user able to summon Toads who get special techniques, they themselves are able to use certain techniques. This also involves the ability to tap into Sage Mode.
Techniques:
• Great Fire Breathing Toad Esophagus - Rank: B The user is able to summon a large Fire Breathing toad, but the catch is that everyone in the vicinity ends up within the Toad's esophagus. This makes moving much harder as the people can get easily stuck within the lining of the throat. It is very hard to get out of the throat, and the only known escape has been the Amaterasu technique utilized by Itachi Uchiha.
• Toad Shop Transformation - Rank: B The user can summon a toad that disguises itself as a shop. Whenever the user wishes the shop can transform back into a toad and hop away with whoever gets caught on the inside. This is mainly used as a form of holding someone hostage in order to learn information.
• Toad Oil Bullet - Rank: C The user converts their chakra into an extremely sticky oil and spits this out as a huge mass. When this oil touches the target, their entire body is covered, and it prevents them from moving. Simply washing the oil away with regular water wouldn't be easy. Furthermore, if a Fire Release technique is thrown at the target after this technique is used, they will be enveloped in flames in an instant.
• Whip of Love - Rank: D The user (normally a toad) stretches its tongue out with an incredible speed and force, delivering a powerful blow to the opponent. The toad may also use its tongue to wrap around the enemy and smash them into the ground.
Sage Mode:

Snake Contract
The snakes vary greatly in size, body mass and species, from small enough to hide in one's sleeves to larger than buildings, and thin enough to be used to tie someone's hands to sufficient strong to choke a colossal animal like the Island Turtle. Although the common snakes cannot speak human language like toads, some of the summoners could communicate with them. They can sense live beings by their heat and smell, track and lead their summoners to their prey. Orochimaru frequently summons them in battle, either having them attack for him or instructing them to carry out other tasks. While most snakes are very obedient and do what is instructed of them, the largest snake, Manda, demanded a sacrifice of a hundred humans in exchange for helping Orochimaru. Snakes have also mastered the use of natural energy to enter a Sage Mode of their own. The only known way to learn it is in the Ryūchi Cave with the White Snake Sage.
Rules: • While the snakes themselves may not get many ninjutsu/techniques, the summoners are granted abilities to use
• Not all snakes are poisonous, only those that say they are poisonous are poisonous. All poisonous snakes use the same poison below - Venom (C-Rank Poison) This poison causes great pain as it courses through the victim's body. It remains in their body for 3 posts. On the first post the poison only afflicts the bitten limb. For the second post it spreads to half of the user's body. The third post is when the poison spreads to their entire body. The fourth post is relief, as the poison dissipates from their body.
Summoning List
Name: Three-headed Giant Snakes - Rank: B The snakes were brown in colour with darker tomoe-like patches all over their bodies. They towered over several structures in Konohagakure including the boundary wall of the village. Each snake wore a red scarf around the base of their heads. In the anime, these snakes are merged together towards their tails.
Name: Manda - Rank: S Manda was the largest snake in the world, being recently out-sized by his modified clone, Manda II. He easily towered over buildings, trees, and large rock formations. Due to his length, he was even larger than Gamabunta and Katsuyu, easily coiling around Katsuyu and having more length behind him, and he could open his jaws wide enough to swallow Gamabunta whole. He was coloured purple, and had black rings running down intervals on his body. He had massive fangs, though they were arranged in a way similar to that of a constrictor snake instead of a viper or other venomous snake species, presumably carrying venom in them from the way they were designed, and green eyes. He also had four horn-like protrusions on his head.
Manda was very powerful, and able to stand his own against Gamabunta and Katsuyu, having almost killed them both before being disabled. He was extremely fast, as he was quickly able to dodge and disable Katsuyu. It is also obvious that he was well-known, as Gamakichi was afraid of him just because of his gaze. He was also able to shed his skin in a manner similar to the Body Replacement Technique or Body Shedding, which was seen during the battle with Gamabunta and Katsuyu, and to move underground. His body was sturdy enough to withstand Deidara's ultimate attack, and remain intact, while providing a relatively safe shelter for anyone to hide inside his mouth. Overall, Manda was feared as the "strongest colossal serpent".
Techniques:
• Snake Skin Underground Attack - Rank: B Manda is able to use this technique to create and leave behind a snake skin that the enemy ends up attacking (similar to the substitution technique). Manda appears underground and then can travel through the ground and surprise attack the unsuspecting enemies.
Summoner Techniques
• Temporary Paralysis - Rank: D A technique that physically restrains an opponent, as if the opponent had been tied in invisible steel ropes. It debilitates the victim for a short period of time, which allows the user to either strike again, or take the target into custody. This is a D-rank ninjutsu where the intensity will vary greatly according to the user's level of skill. The technique can also be cast on every target at once, depending on the user's skill, and won't fail a shinobi during his missions. This technique does not last an entire post, but merely for a few seconds, allowing the summoner to set up for a different attack.
• Hidden Shadow Snakes - Rank: C This technique allows the user to eject snakes from their wrist or sleeve, usually after a punching motion. The snakes are used primarily to attack from a distance and, being snakes, can inflict multiple poisonous wounds on the victim's body or hold them in place. The snakes can also open their mouths to extend Kusanagi-like blades.
• Binding Snake Spell - Rank: C The user summons one or two big snakes which crawl out from one's sleeves, and coil around the enemy capturing them. This is a great technique for capturing someone alive, or for inflicting damage by constriction, and if the situation calls for it, the snakes can bite the victim with their fangs.
• Snakeskin Protector - Rank: C The summoner slams their hands down on the ground and summons the hardened skin of a snake, which wraps around them in a protective manner. This shield is only big enough for a single person, and is able to protect against all physical attacks one rank above, as well as ninjutsu other than Katon. Fire techniques of this rank are able to burn through the snakeskin.
• Formation of Ten Thousand Snakes - Rank: B With this technique, a countless number of summoned snakes crawl out of Orochimaru's mouth and hunt down the enemy. With such overwhelming numbers, a true "wall of snakes" is formed, making defence and evasion meaningless. The enemy can do nothing but become buried by the snakes. The snakes can bite the enemy with their poison fangs and open their mouths to extend Kusanagi-like blades, making them even more deadly. Furthermore, when the inexhaustibly crawling snakes gather together, they become a defensive wall, and can block any kind of attack up to their rank. The snakes must move together rather than being able to separate.
• Snake Destroyer - Rank: B The summoner slams their hands down atop whatever structure they wished to be destroyed. A large snake head shoots up from the ground and closes its jaws around it, crushing it with the power of its mouth. If anyone just so happens to be caught in it this can be used to trap someone within the mouth.
• Slithering Snake Mode - Rank: B The summoner turns the lower half of his body into a snake's tail, which greatly increases his speed and agility (+1 1/2 Rank to SpeedAgility). The downside is the user is unable to jump into the air for any reason. This lasts 3 posts before needing to cool down for 3 as well.
• Twin Snakes Mutual Death - Rank: A This technique can kill the summoner. The summoner must be able to get in very close range to their intended victim, usually if they are disabled in some manner. They will then form a handseal with the victim's hand as well as their own. Two snakes will launch out from the summoner's sleeve and will bite the wrists of both participants. This will kill both of the inflicted unless they are treated immediately for the venom that is shot into them. (Within 3 posts)
Sage Mode The Snake Sage Mode is activated by fusing with the Boss summoning of Manda. The Sage is granted a multitude of powers and abilities, and is the only one who may use the Sage Techniques. Just like other sage modes, the Sage still needs to be able to gather and channel Natural energy to use the senjutsu.
Abilities: • Snake Skin: Damage done by physical techniques is reduced by -1 Rank. Also makes the Sage take on the appearance of a snake.
• Snake Senses: The Sage is able to use the snakes natural abilities to detect people using their heat and smell.
• Venom: All snakes summoned by the user are able to inject the Snake Venom into their target. The Sage themselves are also able to do this by biting as well.
Techniques:
• Body Shedding Technique - Rank: S+ Used primarily after sustaining massive injury or as a means to elude a seemingly inescapable attack, this technique allows the user to materialise a new body — typically by regurgitating it from their mouth — in a manner that somewhat resembles how a snake sheds its skin. After emerging, the user's clothing and injuries are completely restored, with even amputated limbs being regenerated. Whilst the technique has the additional advantage of potentially being extremely difficult to detect, its use consumes a great amount of chakra. Not only that, all physical stats are reduced by -2 Ranks for the duration of the battle, and constantly reduced by -1 Rank for the remainder of the Sage's life. This technique can only be used once.
• Eight Branches Technique - Rank: S Using the "power of reincarnation" possessed by the White Snake as an intermediary, the Sage can transform into a giant white serpent with eight heads and eight tails. The serpent boasts a giant body, even larger than that of Manda, who was feared as the "strongest colossal serpent". Just by crawling on the scales of its abdomen it was able to trample the Uchiha hideout, and could destroy most things without difficulty. This technique transcends the "Snake", and becomes like a "Dragon God".

Ninken Contract
Ninken are essentially dogs that have heightened senses and abilities and as such are able to work with ninja. Although the dogs belonging to the members of the Inuzuka clan are ninken, the phrase is usually used in reference to the pack of eight ninken summoned by Kakashi Hatake. Kakashi's ninken have shown the ability to use human language, walking on water, capacity of developing combat strategies and investigative sense as well. They are supposed to be quite dangerous in combat, as Kakashi notes that they can tear their opponents apart on his command. Kakashi summons his ninken mostly for tracking purposes. He can summon them separately, as he commonly does so with Pakkun, or all together. He can also summon them for special purposes, like he does with his Summoning: Earth Release: Tracking Fang Technique. With this technique, the dogs can travel through the ground following the scent of their target, emerging when the target is found and holding them in place. They all have a face-shaped design on their backs called Henohenomoheji, which is the sound made when all the characters in the face are put together. Appropriately enough, children use this design as the face for their scarecrows, which is Kakashi in Japanese.
Rules: • The summoners of this contract are granted heightened senses, similar to but not as powerful as the Inuzuka clansmen.
• All of the dogs are able to tap into the techniques listed below the summoning list.
• All of the dogs possess heightened senses, even greater than that of a regular dog.
• The dogs are usually summoned together, in which the cost for this is only equal to that of the specific technique the summoner is trying to use.
• All of the Ninken techniques pull from Stamina, not Chakra.
Summoning List

Name: Pakkun - Rank: C Pakkun is a miniature pug, and the smallest of the ninken. Despite this, he is summoned the most often.Pakkun is small with brown fur and a dark brown snout and ears. He has pink-coloured paws and wears the standard outfit of Kakashi's ninken which consists of a blue vest with the heno-heno-moheji seal and a Konoha forehead protector, but his is worn on top of his head in a similar style to Sakura Haruno. He also wears a bandage on his right front leg. Despite his cute appearance, his voice is deep and gruff.
Techniques:
• Ninken Ninja Art: Hound Clone - Rank: D Using the hair he sheds, Pakkun creates dozens of clones of himself. These clones are able to float in the air, in a similar manner that hair is able to stay airborne.
Name: Bull - Rank: D Bull is the largest summon in Kakashi's ninken pack. He has dark fur and wears a spiked collar. He also wears the standard outfit of Kakashi's ninken which consists of a blue vest with the heno-heno-moheji seal and a Konoha forehead protector worn on his left front leg. Befitting of his name, he is a large, intimidating black bulldog wearing a spiked collar. Unlike all the other members of Kakashi's ninken pack, Bull does not appear to have the ability to speak. Nonetheless, he and Pakkun seem to get along well enough for him to allow the latter to ride atop his head. He is also the strongest of them all, able to easily overpower a full grown man.
Name: Urushi - Rank: D Urushi has white and light-brown fur, along with long spiky tufts of hair on his head. His eyes greatly resemble traditional Japanese angry eyes. Being one of Kakashi's ninken, he wears the standard blue vest with the heno-heno-moheji seal and a Konoha forehead protector around his neck.
Name: Shiba - Rank: D He has light grey fur with a white underside and a black crest on his head reminiscent of a mohawk. His eyes slightly resemble those of Kisame Hoshigaki. He also wears the standard outfit of Kakashi's ninken which consists of a blue vest with the heno-heno-moheji seal and a Konoha forehead protector around his neck and bandages on his front legs.
Name: Bisuke - Rank: D He has tan-coloured fur with brown highlights on his long ears and legs. He bears an uncanny resemblance to Gaara with a kanji imprinted on his head and dark rings around his eyes. However, where Gaara has the kanji for "love", Bisuke has the kanji for "shinobi". He wears the standard outfit of Kakashi's ninken which consists of a blue vest with the heno-heno-moheji seal and a Konoha forehead protector around his neck.
Name: Akino - Rank: D He has tan fur with one white strip starting from the top of his head and going down his muzzle. He wears sunglasses and the standard outfit of Kakashi's ninken, consisting of a blue vest with the heno-heno-moheji seal and a Konoha forehead protector around his neck. Akino is among the ninken that has demonstrated the ability to speak.
Name: Ūhei - Rank: D Ūhei greatly resembles a greyhound. He is brown with a white underside and snout. Along with the standard blue vest with the heno-heno-moheji seal and a Konoha forehead protector around his neck he also sports bandages around his neck and head.
Name: Guruko - Rank: D He has tan fur, a white snout, long ears that have a dark brown colour and whisker marks similar to Naruto Uzumaki. He wears the standard outfit of Kakashi's ninken which consists of a blue vest with the heno-heno-moheji seal and a Konoha forehead protector on his forehead.
Techniques:
• Circular Formation - Rank: D This is a supplementary maneuver used by Kakashi's ninken which involves the hounds standing in a circle. They can also leave one dog in the middle to be the focus of the opponent's attack while allowing them to perform other techniques such as the Ninken Ninja Art: Dance of the Dust Cloud. This allows the outer dogs to also protect whoever/whatever is in the middle by warding off attacks.
• Crane Wing Formation - Rank: C After jumping into the air, the ninken attack the enemy from a circular formation reminiscent of a crane's wings. After surrounding the opponent(s), the hounds then bite the target's limbs rendering them unable to react as they plummet to the ground.
• Dog Wall Formation - Rank: D Akino, Bisuke, Guruko, Pakkun, Shiba, Ūhei and Urushi all jump into the air forming circle around Bull. This forms a blockade obstructing the opponents vision as well as enabling them to maneuver in the air.
• Ninken Ninja Art: Dance of the Dust Cloud - Rank: C Using their strong front limbs, the ninken dig into the ground. This creates a cloud of dust which they can use to conceal their movements. It can also be used to create large holes in a short period of time.
Sage Mode The Sage of this contract enters a dog-like state in which their senses are increased to be even greater than an Inuzuka clansmen. Not only that, they gain a +1 to each physical stat. They are also able to tap into the Natural Energy of the world and use the senjutsu available to them.
• Dog Kata - Rank: B The Sage begins to fight like a dog, using their claws and teeth for many attacks. They usually go for an opponent's soft spots such as the jugular, or other areas to incapacitate them. Like other Sage Kata the Dog Kata enables the Sage to extend their attacks. Unlike other Sage Kata, the Dog Kata uses cutting and ripping power, not blunt force power.
