Thal flicked her tail as she walked along. She looked over the herd and watched them making sure everyone seemed happy, seemed safe and not alert to anything. She didn't often talk to others, just her father and mother. Aether and Sgina were her closest family and the ones she talked to the most. She talked with a few of the ones that she had grown up with but they all felt...that she was too different for her. Most of them just talked if they had to with her but then would often just give her their widest breath if they had to walk past her. She didn't like that they thought her a monster.
She couldn't blame them for the most part, there had been so many attacks in the past to some of the older ones that they could see her attacking them with her claws. She didn't like that though. She wasn't like that but most of them just didn't trust her about it. She had always watched others from afar, as smart as she was and as gentle and kind that she was unless she was startled or angry. She would defend this herd, even if they all didn't accept her like her parents did.
She shook out her mane and walked towards the lake to get a drink of water before she would walk out alone and head to patrol the edge of the herd lands.

Paris peered around the semi-familiar lands of his childhood. It had been sometime since he had last come around here to visit and now he almost felt ashame at that thought. Shaking off the bad feelings those thoughts brought Paris enjoyed the stray breezes that came every so often moving his long hair about and closed his eyes in relaxation. He wandered what Crown was doing and his sister. They probably were out there somewhere either causing trouble or trying to find their soulmate. He opened his eyes and let his golden gaze once again scan the area in hopes to spot someone, anyone in the area.
Faint jingling filled the air as he moved his head this way and that. "Hmmm I think my best bet would be to either going towards the watering hole or to the low lands near the trees." He spoke aloud with a light tone and a shrug. Yawning and stretching his big wings he thought about flying around, but again decided the ground was the better way to go. Stretching out leg muscles was a good thing he didn't want a cramp. He would have to go for a short flight later on. Onward!, he thought as he made his way first to the watering hole was it was closer.

Thal walked up to the waters edge and was taking a drink. She was thinking about what she was going to do as she grew older. Was she just going to settle and be alone with her parents and the kids they were trying to have? She guessed it might end up that way but she supposed she was ok with it, she just wanted the herd there and to have a job, protection. She would help her father protect the future children when ever Sgina was blessed with them.
She was about to leave the watering hole when her claw slipped in the mud around the water and she frowned as she walked into the water a little bit and cleaned her claw. She wiggled her golden toes in the water and worked the mud from between them as she frowned. She walked carefully out to the edge and leaped over the mud easily to land in the grass to keep the mud from her claws. She looked up to walk and saw the Angeni male who had been here often walking towards the water. She was sure he was related to her adopted father, if her memory served correctly he was...Aethers sons son. So family in a way. But she was sure he would see her like most of the others and just ignore her. She turned her blue eyes away and kept walking making sure to avoid any more mud.

Mostly lost in thought Paris almost missed the sound of faint claws tapping. At first he froze thinking it was a skinwalker, they were nasty business them, but when he looked over he breath caught. A mare was walking away from him, one that appeared to be... half bird half horse? Such an interesting character she appeared to be, and with... was that a saddle upon her back? Was she of noble blood? Never one to back away without a greeting or making himself known, Paris started to follow the female for a few minutes to see where she was headed. He watched as she gracefully leaped around to avoid-squish-mud. He looked down and frowned when his once golden hooves became a muddied-mess.
Eyes widening he realized his hair would be next if he didn't flip it back quickly. So with a rapid head motion he whipped his hair (BACKNFORTH- lol sorry) upward breaking the silence with a tiny tickle of the bells that were attached to his cloth band. Grumbling as he finally got his hair into place Paris looked up to see if he had scared the interesting female away. "Hello, I don't think I've ever met you before.. what brings you on these lands my lady?" He was cautious of course, he didn't want to bring danger upon family lands.

Thal had wanted to avoid the almost attractive male that had been walking towards the water. She lifted her head when she heard a little tinkling on the wind and saw him flipping his hair to keep it out of the mud. That was something her own father father did often to try and keep his hair from the mud when he came here. He didn't come often cause his hair dragged on the ground unless Thal and Sgina helped keep it off the grass. She looked at him as he spoke to her.
He was talking to her and she gave him a confused look as he seemed to be...nice. Someone else not her parents being nice to her? "W-what brings me to these lands? I live here actually. Im going to protect the lines of the herd right now is that ok? My father and mother found me on their way here. Is that not ok for me to be doing my job?" she asked as she frowned trying to not look so surprised about someone like him talking to her.

Paris blinked while thinking, ' This goregous creature lives here? It seems I have missed much while away on my travels.' His eyes strayed to her bubble-gum pink hair and smiled as the wind seemed to make her hair float on its breeze. Paris finally realized that he had been staring at her for a lot longer than he should have without talking and he shook his head to clear away his lustful thoughts. "You do? I don't think I recall seeing you before, trust me I would have see a beauty such as yourself. My father is Rune and my mother is Renesme have you come upon them during your protecting of the herd?" He eyed her carefully to see if she really was apart of the herd or just speaking lies.
After intently watching her body language he nodded his head at what he deemed was truth. Paris believed her words and therefore began thinking of ways to tempt her to him. " Of course it is darlin', do you think you could help me find my way around here?" He blushed. " It has been sometime since I was last here and I would like your company."

Thal frowned softly as she watched him look at her. She looked over her self and wondered what he saw there. What he looked at her so hard for. She hadn't had anyone look at her like that before. She frowned as she looked at him and nodded. "I know of them. My father is Aether. I believe he is your grandfather right?" she asked as she stood there and wiggled her toes in the grass. "Why do you call me that?" She asked as she watched him as he asked her to lead him around. "If you want to come with i'll walk you around.. No one ever wants to come walk with me but Father and Mother." she said as she walked about with him and watched him as she wondered why he was being nice...why he was talking to her and most of all why he had called her beautiful! She frowned as she walked around with her eyes watching the ground while she walked to make sure she didn't trip as she tried to make sure she understood why he was here with her...talking to her. It was baffling as she tried to work it out in her head.
