Daily Life for Non-nobles: Most citizens in the lower and middle classes live in farming communities and the lower areas of the many cities which dot Envy’s maps. They spend a vast amount of their lives tending to their fields and training for battle. They are permitted to attend the ceremonial festivals which take place within the cities, and often hold many of their own in their respective towns.
Noted for: Philosophy, Politics, and Military Prowess.
Terrain: The country consists of a large mainland; the Anga Megil, a peninsula connected to the southern tip of the mainland by the Tari de Calina; and around 3,000 islands, including Lat’hi, Rho, Cortsai, the Dhagni, and the Cytsyn. Envy has 15,000 kilometers (9,300 miles) of coastline, and is also one of the more mountainous countries in the area.
Its capitol is Ithil, located at the very center of the countries map.
Military: The Envian army is known far and wide for their fierceness, brutality, and efficiency in battle. This is partly due to their militarily-oriented society, but it is also due to the many remarkable innovations in land warfare that has made the Envians nearly unstoppable on the ground. Their more notable soldiers wear beads in their hair to showcase both their positions and the number of soldiers they’ve slain.

H i s t o r y : The second eldest living child of Envy, Altonair was brought up with an innate characteristic of being very supportive of his family. This friendly trait carried over to the treatment of others, leading to a very favorable image of him in others' eyes. The young child was quickly a second favorite of the Envy children, behind the golden heir and eldest brother, Nathaniel.
Altonair was introduced the hardships of the war early on in life, as assassination attempts on his life made him much more aware of the consequences of war. He had witnessed far too many of his people die at the hands of war, despite the fact that Envy possessed the most powerful military in all the land.
Around the age of puberty, Altonair began to notice something within others that was not in him: a magical power. It began to bother him, causing him to question why he was not 'blessed with a gift like their's'. It was an important factor in his character, causing a very envious rage to build up over time.
Near the coming of his 22nd birthday, he was sent to the Kingdom of Veritas to be safe from the assassination attempts made on him and his family during their time in Envy.
No word on whether or not they are truly safe there. P e r s o n a l i t y : Altonair is regularly a very talkative person, his polite nature often charms others. He enjoys acting as an ambassador of sorts when talking to others from other kingdoms, and is usually one of the first people to speak in a diplomatic or casual conversation. His quick mind aids him in conversation, and is very rarely left speechless by occasion. He does, however, have a case of bi-polar disorder: his emotions regularly switch quite frequently, given the situation. Like most in his kingdom, he does possess quite a bit of envy himself: he holds malice towards those with magical abilities/powers, due to the fact that he himself does not possess any. He does his best to hide his envy, especially from his family. The mechanism for the blades is hidden underneath his sleeves (albeit, much more slimmer and compact than the drawings indicate). The blades are drown out with a flicking motion of the wrist, as well as a bit of gravity (they can only be drawn out when flicked downwards towards the ground, and sheathed when a 'reset' button is pressed on the mechanism). The weapon was designed by an ingenious weapon maker in Envy, and is designed specifically for Altonair per his request.

H i s t o r y : Liam was born into a world where no one was happy with what they had, but wanted what the next person possessed. This had a direct effect on him, and instead of pining needlessly the way his family had, Liam worked to fix his lowly status in the world. Lowly, being even so... that his family had connections with the royals, his father an Elder von. He was plucked from his family at a young age, and he still harbors feelings of hatred towards his parents for their short comings, as they lost him as a child because of their burning jealousy and inability to do anything beyond that.
From their constant pining, came the fall from grace with the reigning nobles, and they were stripped of any title they may have had before. The Balins lost their home, their right to any of their family lands. Anything, that might have made one envious of them, was usurped from them with little thought.
After being torn from his home, Liam was placed in the care of the state, where he was recruited early on into the military for the kingdom, and worked his way up in the King's Guard. Because it was the only thing that Liam had, he lived and breathed the life that had been provided for him, studying rigorously until his own body became a weapon in itself. He resided, because of his choice in occupations, he resided within the royal castle. Of course, it was with all of the guards, so it was far from the posh lifestyle of the Wood children. Nathaniel, the closest in age to him, saw him practicing, no doubt expected to watch the knights that would serve them. And the two gradually formed an understanding.
They weren't best of friends, but Nathaniel was well aware at the end of the day, that Liam had ambitions... and would serve the Wood family until the end of his life. On the field, the martial arts that he practiced include Muay Thai, capoeira and judo. The muay thai brought a love of philosophy into his world, capoeira brought poetry in motion and judo brought with it a way for him to control the envy that encompassed the land.
Due to the slaying of the first born in his kingdom, his assignment had changed, and wasn't one to his liking. Liam is the type that finds being a body guard a degradable position to the one he had previously. Liam's deepest desire is to earn the envy of all the lesser nobles and commoners by proving his worth on the battlefield. If Veritas' place is a safe haven, why didn't they get someone of less use to go?
P e r s o n a l i t y : Liam is often abrasive, sarcastic and mostly driven. Because his ambitions are so deeply rooted, he comes off as a cruel, heartless military man.

P o w e r : Chi manipulation - Chi energy, or the energy and life force of all things, is comprised of energy particles so small they reside inside the gluons of atoms. With the right genetic disposition, an individual can learn to have influence over these relativistic particles, using them to control the nature of the space around the user. Liam is at one with his chi, but has no effect on the chi of those around him.
]xxxxxxxxxx P o w e r S t r e n g t h s : When Liam is tapping into this power, it is a river running through him, and he can choose to enhance parts of him, be it speed, durability, strength... etc. The strength to harness this comes from his strengths in martial arts, so the better practiced he is, the better it is for his power.
]xxxxxxxxxx P o w e r W e a k n e s s e s : As with all power, it does have a limit, and it is not something he can use constantly. Also, he can only enhance one thing at a time. So if he goes for speed, in order to increase his strength, he has to lose the excess speed. Even with increased durability, Liam is vulnerable to attack.
