Well Bartons, the summer event has kicked off and this year we're... clicking 'buy pie' for NPCs? *sigh*
Anywho, post tips & info here (will do so myself in a bit).
EDIT:
Here's what there is to know:
- You can get a wing sticker at the event page (one every day)
- Feed the NPC's you support (in our case, that's Ian/Rufus). After a few days Gaia will start eliminating 3 NPCs a day until there are only 6 remaining. Those 6 will be the finalists in phase 2 of the event.
- You can feed an NPC either a slice of pie (100G) or a whole pie (500G).
- For every whole pie you feed an NPC, you get a mark on your pie card. When you fill up your first one, you get the item Pies! Pies! Pies!. When you fill out five you get the item Giant Spoon & Fork.
- At the Treehouse you can get Rina's Pie Print Apron for ten (10) stickers.
Achievements
Pie Pusher - feed pie to 10 different NPCs
Pie Trafficker - feed pie to 20 different NPCs
Pie Scarface - feed pie to 30 different NPCs
Pie for All - feed all NPCs a pie
- Starting Tuesday, NPCs will begin to be eliminated, so get this achievement while you can
-Minimum spending of 3.8k gold to get the above achievements
Pie Feeder - feed same NPC 10 pies
Pie Enabler - feed same NPC 20 pies
Pie Hoarder by Proxy - feed same NPC 30 pies
-Minimum spending of 2.9k gold to get the above achievements
Pieversity - Awarded to Gaians who give out at least one of every single type of pie (This can not be achieved yet, but you have to feed them every kind of pie until Tuesday)
Way Too Many Pies - Given to those rare souls with the insane pie stamina to give away 1,000 pies (this does not mean full pies. You can use pie slices, but that's still 100,000 gold though)
So, that's the Summer Event for you: a dull massive gold sink!

It was defiantly a conspiracy I spent every last gaia cent I had on Ivan and Rufus and now I have nothing crying I think they did that on purpous cause something major is going to happen soon and we will need money that we wont have ninja scream How Dare THEY!!! namine melfina Imortal Sam R I hannah_is_here A gold sink? I was just told that I have developed a pathological need to shove pie down peoples throats....at first I was all LIke Nu Uh ...but as I continued to think about it and realize I had spent over 10,000 GG on pie to shove down the throats of our favorit duo I began to think that maybe they are right and now I question whether or not I am doing well in the head. So I wonder if I should get a cat scan....Maybe rufus could do it...does he have a medical license?

So I wonder if I should get a cat scan....Maybe rufus could do it...does he have a medical license? No.... But he is a cat and that should be good enough!!!!
